something i like to post now and again is that i'm not a time limited blog at all. anything i've sent you / replied to you with / messaged you about, i am not expecting an answer straight away, nor will i chase you for. i don't suffer from any decay in interests for any of it in the meantime, either. in the same way, i do also extend that curtsey to myself. i take my time in all aspects of roleplay and forever apologise for the delay or any negative feelings this may make you feel.

in the same vein, this also replies to holiday related things! i have holiday related things i still intend to reply on even if they're out of season, and if i have sent you anything holiday related i really dont mind when you reply! we can make it christmas, valentines or someones birthday any day of the year, we are in control as the writers in turn!

if you also lose muse for things, that is 100% fine too! getting things super late / after having so much happen since you last replied is never easy and we have plenty of opportunities to start again or find something else we can plot with!

I believe this was the unpopular opinion meme; correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't have that many unpopular opinions to share, I already voiced the "controversial creek take" multiple times and I don't want to anymore.

So, how about this.

The Internet used to be much more... Chill. If someone didn't like the things you did, they would block you and move on. Callouts were rarer and usually only for an actual reason and not because you shipped something 'icky'. Dramas were usually resolved in private, and everyone just went on about their business. It was fun, you didn't have to tiptoe your way around everyone, and I'm only talking about time a decade ago. The biggest insult someone could throw at you back then was calling your OTP a NOTP.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, chapter 3 is my favorite still so far and I love Thórgestr's fate-spirit of a mother. I think there is poetry in this:

“Yes,” she says, voice soft but deepening, suddenly wholly unfamiliar and foreboding, a voice from beyond Midgard.  “Áleifr will wander, empty-handed and ice-hearted.  Fresh snow will be his grave after ravens pick his bones clean and gleaming in the long night.  And you, my son, will learn who you are without him.”
