Hi!! (This is my first time requesting on tumblr so I apologize if it’s bad and if your requests aren’t open)

But are you willing to do a guzma x trans autistic reader who has a sensory problem or is sensitive to loud noises?

Guzma x Trans/Autistic Reader with sensory/loud sensitivity issues

One of the things that come with being a punk is being respectful as fuck towards gender and sexual identities. A couple of Team Skull grunts got kicked out of home because of said identities so Guzma already has some experience in ensuring you manage to get the healthcare and resources you need. (Thank Arceus for universal healthcare am I right?)

Regardless of gender, Guzma helps you figure out what you like wearing. He'll bend the rules that you don't have to wear the same grunt uniform like the rest cause you're special. Unless you wanna look like your fellow trans brothers and sisters, figuring out which hair dye makes you feel the best and looking like one of them makes you feel good then he'll let you do it. Either way, he lets you dress up however you want.

Loves calling you pet names still, usually sticking with calling you Cutiefly because you hover around him like one. That and cause, you're sweet to him more than he thinks he deserves.

But something that he definitely isn't all that used to doing is ensuring your comfort given your limits as an autistic person when it comes to sensory and loud sensitivity issues. Team Skull has some experience with handling some members with their mental illness but it's not like you can really "fix" something like autism. Thoughts like that is just straight ableism. But what they do know is that you can help lessen some sources of stress that cause you direct harm.

Team Skull is pretty much used to doing things big and loud so that does take some time getting used to but they do get you noise cancelling headphones so you don't flinch at how often they end up yelling at each other. Something that Guzma makes them all do is to give you a brief warning to put the headphones on, someone announces that you're here and to keep the noise down, and then they start doing what they were doing before, just at a lower volume. If it's the bosses' order, they're not one to judge or object. Punks are respectful like that even if they don't understand it all that well.

Physical touch wise, that definitely takes some time to figure out but Guzma and the rest are pretty quick to just replace whatever you're touching with something better. Don't like these socks? Get you new ones. Don't like this blanket? Okay, yeah, we needed new ones anyway. Things such as that.

Guzma is used to yelling and yapping a whole bunch still. Gotta be when you're trying to get the attention of a dozen or more grunts at a time. He doesn't mind all that much if you wear the headphones around him but his volume does get softer when he's directly talking with you. His honey sweet words when he murmurs into your ear of sweet nothings is one of his favorites because he gets to watch you squirm.

What do you think the villains like to read?

Giovanni: Giovanni doesn’t have much time to read for leisure, or to keep up with what’s popular that he might like. If he has the time for it, he’ll read whatever is suggested to him by whoever’s around to suggest something. He generally prefers television since his brain gets enough of a workout running his criminal empire, but if he had time off and weren’t getting that, he’d use books to make up the difference.

Maxie: Maxie is well-read. Very well-read. Unfortunately he’s also very set in his ways and prone to interpreting what he reads in a way that confirms his worldview. So yes, he’s read a ton on geology, and yes, he could hold his own with Steven Stone in a debate about rocks, but none of that will convince him that throwing rocket fuel in a volcano is a bad idea. He doesn’t have a ton of time for fiction, but he does like it, especially alternate histories.

Archie: Archie may not be as loud about his intellect as Maxie is, but he’s as well-read on ocean life and ecosystems as Maxie is on geology and land development, and he’s very passionate about it. He’s not as blinded by bias as Maxie (still pretty bad though), but Maxie has a bit more breadth to his knowledge. Archie likes action novels as well, especially post-apocalypse-related ones.

Cyrus: Cyrus researches both for work and for leisure. He’s read a lot about myth and engineering, as well as any information he could access on how other evil teams were run. He’s the type of person to read everything there is to read about very niche aspects of his interests just out of curiosity.

N: it’s a good thing N likes physics, because any fiction he read had to be vetted first so they wouldn’t give him any wrong ideas. He read a lot of math, physics and Pokémon care stuff as a kid while his fiction was being vetted for him. As a young adult, he seems like he has a childlike taste in fiction (lots of middle school adventure books and whatnot), but really he’s just making up for lost time.

Ghetsis: Ghetsis enjoys reading history, in particular anything to do with war or dictatorships. He loves imagining himself as powerful and violent historical figures and thinking about how he could have played their cards differently. He’s also a fan of theatre and likes reading playwrights. Not a fan of very unrealistic genres like fantasy and horror, but so long as it’s realistic, historical fiction is good, too- the more violent the better.

Colress: reads cutting edge scientific journals with his morning coffee. For fiction, science fiction is nice, but he will nit pick all the unscientific parts and try to think of ways he could make it work in reality. To him it’s part of the fun. This makes him either extremely interesting or extremely obnoxious to talk to about it.

Lysandre: Lysandre likes consuming media, including books, and he has very discerning tastes. While his favourites are old classics, he keeps his eye on what are considered to be the best books published that year. Poor-quality or mediocre media, especially if it’s popular, is just another sign that most people aren’t cut out to preserve the world’s beauty.

Guzma: Guzma doesn’t read very much- he’s not bad at it, he just learns better from the internet or practical experience. He has watched a lot of videos on bug Pokémon biology, though- enough that he could carry a conversation about it with a entomologist. Videos or other internet sources are his go-to when he needs to figure out a skill to maintain Po Town, and he has had to learn a lot of things as problems arise. He’s not dumb by any means.

Lusamine: Lusamine is pretty big into escapism. She likes reading fantasy, historical fiction and romance novels and cries over them easily. She also likes magazines about fashion, beauty, interior design and the like. Why can’t the real world be that beautiful?

Rose: speculative fiction. Unfortunately he’s rich and stupid enough that he he thinks he can make some of the ideas in these fiction novels into reality. If it hadn’t been Eternatus, it would have been something else. He’s well-read when it comes to finance, too.

Piers: Piers is self-taught when it comes to both his passions, and as such has read a lot about music and battle strategy. He liked fiction when he was younger, but nowadays, between his obligations as a gym leader, a musician, a leader is Spikemuth and up until recently Marnie’s caretaker, he doesn’t have time to read.

Penny: Manga, and lots of it. Also an avid AO3 user. She’s especially a fan of yuri.

"Trick R' Treat, Boss!" You, along with a few other grunts, shouted as you entered Guzma's room. The boss of Team Skull looked up from picking at his nails quizzically at you.

"Wus all this?" He asked, sitting up properly on his throne.

"It's Gourgeist Festival, Boss." One of the grunts, dressed loosely as a Cutefly said, "Ya know, the holiday where everyone dresses up like Pokemon and gets free candy?"

Guzma blinked a few times, then scratched his head, "Uh... Y-Yeah, yeah I heard'a that..." He lied through his teeth as he stood up, "Problem is... We ain't got no candy to give out."

The grunts all around you seemed shocked, letting out gasps as they began to talk among themselves on what to do. Guzma let them rabble for a moment before holding up his hand, calling the crowd to silence.

"So, there ain't no candy in Po Town for Trick r Treatin', sounds like a pretty big problem... lucky for you knuckle heads your boss has a pretty big solution." He smiled wide before walking to his bedroom window, flinging the curtains open, "We head out there and Take whatever Candy we want!"

The room erupted in cheers as grunts ran from Guzma's room, calling reinforcements as they tore through the manor's halls and out onto the streets of Po Town, off to cause problems on purpose throughout Alola.

Except for you.

You stood in the door, dressed as your favorite Pokemon, and watched Guzma watch his grunts with pride.

"Boss?" You asked after everyone else had ran out of town.

Guzma flinch, seems he didn't know you were still there. He then turned calmly, as if he HAD known. "Yeah? Wus the matter, don't want candy?"

You tilted your head, "Have you really never celebrated the Gourgeist Festival?"

Your questioned knocked him off guard again. Guzma avoided looking at you as he attempted to get his head together, to save his cool. He stumbled through a few starts of excuses, scratching at his hair in that nervous way he does when he looses, tapping his foot and fidgeting.

"Boss." Your voice was solid, you took a step to him and placed your hand on his shoulder, "This is my first Festival too."

Guzma blinked a few times at you, frozen by your touch... Then laughed, "Yeah? It's your first festival huh? Well then I'll show you the ropes, K? So just stay by me and I'll help you through this."

He threw his arm over your shoulder and started walking out the door to his room, still obviously lying, but at least he seemed to have calmed down.

The two off you ran off into the night to follow your fellow grunts who were less.. Taking what candy they wanted and more.. gifted candy. Though a few got tricked by local kids as well, it was a fun night with no hiccups.

Well, except for when Hau and his friends jump scared Guzma, who spent the rest of the night desperately trying to play it off like it didn't happen.

Oh absolutely but this old dog is definitely more bark than he is bite. He talks a lot of trash and threats but that mostly just works on teenagers and not other grown ass adults. He’s a man who would pick a fight with someone who he perceived looked at you too long and then as soon as he realizes the guy is bigger than him and has no intention of being intimidated then Guzma is grabbing you by the arm and getting the both of you out of there. And he expects to be praised for defending your honor.

He’s so pathetic. I know my man hasn’t eaten a vegetable of his own free will in years. I could fix him but I’d rather him break me instead. Who said that.

so one day, a grunt was traveling to try and prove to guzma that he was all tuff and stuff, but then a random rainbow rocket member got out and tried to hurt the poor grunt, plus he didn't have a Pokémon!

that's.. when guzma saw the whole thing. he couldn't let the kid just get hurt. he couldn't just see him get hurt..

He wouldn't allow it.

Guzma ran up too the grunt and boom, the Pokémon hit his left eye. it was Gorey. The Pokémon, the grunt, and the rainbow rocket person were shocked .

As the rainbow rocket grunt ran away in fear, guzma laided in his own blood a while as the grunt brought him to the Pokémon center.

it took a few days, a bunch of love from team skull and some prayers to arcus and guzma was healed.

Because of the scar that's so ugly that guzma gets nightmare over he wears a bandage over it and gets nervous when ppl talk about it

he doesnt like to talk about it.. but..

hes glad that he saved someones life.

I was wondering if you can maybe write a meet cute scenario? Well mostly Guz just slowly falling in love with male reader who is a bug type user from a different region? Like he came on vacation to check out the bug types specifically. Reader is a cool adventurer, takes no shit, is a badass and a sweetheart. No nsfw just some fluff of Guz asking Reader out eventually? Or confessing his love before Reader leaves to go back home.

Bonus points if Reader has a Golisopod on his team too!

(I personally have an idea for a regional variant Golisopod that is a Bug/Ice type instead of a Bug/Water, because you guessed it…it’s more cold and meaner. Which means Reader had to wrestle and avoid ice beams from an angry Wimpod, the variant Golisopod is a bit bigger than an average Golisopod, jagged shell, more of a blue color instead of purple, has ice as its claws.) Of course you don’t have to add this part in. Or you can just go ahead and scrap this all together I ramble too much it’s just nice to talk about Pokemon and the men i simp for. 😅

Guzma x Male Bug Trainer Reader

Word got around the island that someone particularly interesting was coming to Alola. Hard to ignore that news when Kukui is repeatedly bombarding Guzma with that information to try and set them up together. The professor finally gets the former gangster's attention when he mentions you're an expert bug trainer and entomologist.

When you finally do arrive, you didn't have the appearance as some dorky lab scientist that Guzma had made up in his mind. You've got a Lara Croft outfit going on, except with a green and brown color aesthetic, equipped with a leather leg bag and utility belt, survival knife, everything a field researcher would need in addition to having a lab coat with the backside of a skeleton embroidered on the back, adorned with monstera leaves loosely draped on your shoulders like a battle jacket. Your grizzly charm with the scars to prove your worth and years of research can't help but to leave an impression on the man, especially given your sunny yet badass personality. That and it's hard to ignore your body.

Guzma was setting up in his head how he was gonna greet you, but you beat him to the punch when you walk right up to him and introduce yourself, saying that you've heard many good things from your professor associate. It makes him kinda fumble his words with how forward you are. The reason why you're here is to obviously catalogue the Alolan bug dex so Guzma takes it upon himself to personally show you around the islands.

Guzma can't recall how many years it's been since he's had this kind of unadulterated, innocent fun with someone. There's no money, booze, drugs, or crimes involved. You easily became someone that he admires and adores, your enthusiasm for bug types is somehow even higher than his.

When it came to battling you, you gave him a rush of adrenaline that hadn't been there since his late teenage years during his Alola trials. He thought his love for battling this intensely was peaked years ago but you manage to bring it back, making him strive ever harder to someday beat you. You had bug types that he's never seen before, making each battle between the two of you a mysterious matchup where he couldn't underestimate you even when the bugs had the same names. When he finally does beat you, the two of you celebrate his victories and he feels a sense of accomplishment, all of his friends looking at Guzma with pride in their eyes.

It had been years since Guzma felt so seen. You came to the islands without knowing of his childhood or his association with Team Skull and Aether Paradise. You immediately respected him as a fellow adult, gave him the friendship with another bug enthusiast he so desperately desired that also gives bug types the respect they also deserve, and just in general is amazing to be around. Despite your short time together, he even felt vulnerable enough to tell you about his rough past, initially hesitating that you might think dirty of him but you just give him the comfort and a friend he really needed. It's been years since he had a heart to heart talk with anyone and you basically did a speedrun that made him feel safe with you unintentionally but that's just because you're that kind of person, who makes other people feel protected, somehow doing all of this in under a week.

Guzma knows that if you leave without telling how he feels about you, he'll regret it more than anything he didn't do. He takes you the flower fields where the Cutieflies like to gather, having done his best to put together a picnic for you. The man isn't the greatest chef but he knows how to put together some bombass sandwiches and buys some convenience store drinks and snacks at least.

While the two of you are enjoying your time together, in a sea of yellow flowers, he watches Cutieflies gather around you, burning that image of you smiling softly at one perched on your fingertips before he tries to confess. He's never been the one to confess first before so it's difficult for him, but you rest your hand on his, smiling at him gently, and you two lock your hands together. Words don't need to be said when you can share a kiss instead.
