There's a few different types of golden. There's CORIN mutations (copper, sunshine, extreme sunshine) which act as regular recessives for the most part (but react in a unique way with silver, like how sunshine silver makes bimetal)
And there's traditional wideband which is realitically moreso polygenic than simple recessive or dominant, aka requires some amount of selective breeding to go from a brown tabby to a golden tabby. Though it's often simplified to a single gene or locus, most often as a dominant gene.
Shaded and chinchilla cats (especially the silver kind) have the traditional type of widebanding, it react pretty normally to silver, but yes a shaded or chinchilla cat without the dominant and separate silver gene will make a golden shaded or chinchilla instead. You don't necessarily need CORIN for golden
Oh wow, that is very complicated ^^;
Which kind of golden would you suggest for Yellowkit, tiven his parentage? If you would need to make changes to make it possible, what option would accomplish his looks with the least amount of changes to his parents or his brother?
Also feel free not to answer, this is just a casual question, no sweat if you don't know or don't want to respond.

Shin's face when Chingching asks if he ever dreams of Saint, I simply cannot.
Does he? Does he dream of how they used to be in the past, of eating spicy noodles with Saint, of Saint cheering for him at his football match, of Saint protecting him and taking Shin's pain for him?
Does he dream about what could've beeen had Saint never hurt him? How they'd still be bestfriends, how they'd walk Chinching to and from school together, how he'd ride on the back of Sain't bike, how Saint would peel garlick for him. How he'd be a star football player with enough money to help Saint if he accidentally broke another window again, how he'd be the one protecting Saint now.
Does he wake up and for a few moments exist in the world where it's still like that, him and Saint together, right until his leg starts hurting and reminds him that the person closest to him, the person who used to put himself between Shin and pain, hurt him irreversibly instead?
Does he wish he could stop dreaming, or does he wish he didn't have to wake up instead?

Me and my dad were at a place to go wash our dog and we came across this lil guy. I went to take a photo when he said "Don't touch that bug, it's a stink bug. It has a smell as bad as a skunk."
Ofc I stayed away from it. When I asked him what the name for it was he said, "I don't know, but I know my grandma called them Chinche in Spanish." Then when he looked it up it just showed bedbugs and other pests. So now we're curious as to what the name for it is (and the actual Spanish name for it)
This photo was taken in North Texas, but my dad has also seen it in South Texas at the Valley. (Slang for an area close to the border of Mexico.)
Bug ID - No. TX, USA:
Hello, yes, I don't believe I ever learned a word for this particular bug in Spanish. I do know that people call stink bugs "Chinche apestosa".
I have always heard "chinche" to refer to "bugs".
This bug does release a nasty odorous chemical, like stink bugs, but its not in the same family of true bugs that entomologists put most of what are called stink bugs (family Pentatomidae).
This bug is a leaf-footed bug (genus Leptoglossus), family Coreidae.

24 days of Christmas: Sankta Lucia
ChristinaZetterberg/Pixabay
Night reigned in the world.
The sky was painted a rich navy, so dark it was almost black. Stars were scattered over the dome, dust clouds and nebula shimmering in the spaces left between lightyears.
If Nami really tried, she could make out the shape of the Lady, already dipping below the horizon on her eternal journey. Her sash spread out behind her, a band of three stars marking the chinch at her waist. The four bright stars crowning her were strong at this time of year, their light mixing with the shimmering darkness of the gently rolling sea below.
Nami always took the guard during the solstice.
When the night was longest and the sun hid behind the horizon, she felt a familiar tug behind her spine. A need to stay awake and call back the light, to listen to the silent whispers of the long night’s dream as it rolled through the world. Sometimes she could swear she felt it pass across her, hair standing on end and a sudden tightness in her chest as something stole her breath away.
Sometimes, she felt the call and whispered a prayer, a wish, a spell, to stave of the malign parts of darkness while welcoming the kind and gentle parts; the rest and repose found in the night, the spells of intimate understanding and discovery. The truth offered in the safety of darkness and the beauty of the night.
The rest of the crew knew not to disturb her on this night, not when the Lady began her ascent in the darkening evening.
When the evening star emerged, the flickering flame of the Lady’s candle, Sanji left her a thermos with hot chocolate. Usopp draped a blanket over her and Luffy leaned his head on her shoulder for a heartbeat, lending her a bit of his strength where she sat on the railing, facing the sea. Zoro paused on his way behind her, his presence as soothing as Robin’s silent bloom squeezing her hand. Franky gave her a quick hug as he went to bed and Jinbe’s strong grasp on her shoulder grounded her for a passing moment.
Maybe Brook knew something. He always stayed behind, a shadowy presence in the dark night. Not to share or speak or ask for anything, but to exist together for a moment. To just be, as he tuned his violin and played the one song Nami had asked him about, eons ago.
As the first bars echoed across the water, Nami chocked back a sob.
The one and only song she had ever asked Brook if he knew. The song for the Lady of Light, the bringer of spring and life. The one tune Nami still remembered from her homeland, from the time before Nojiko and Belle-Mére. A tune that curled around her heart and held fast, burrowing deep.
She lost track of time as she tracked the star paths, their light flickering in and out of existence as the night slipped onwards. The crisp winter air pricked her cheeks and tickled her nose, brushing her hair with hoarfrost. Her fingers, wrapped around the mug of hot chocolate, tingled in the cold and she knew she’d be frozen through in the morning.
But it was worth it, this night.
When her soul trembled in time with the tune Brook was still teasing out, his violin uncaring about the cold. A true mystery; she could only suppose it had something to do with his soul powers.
A baritone humming behind her grew in strength, harmonising with the violin.
“Wings of the night taking you far away?”
Nami leaned back, trusting in unseen, secure in the knowledge that she wouldn’t fall.
“Dreaming of wonders beyond imagination,” she said as she felt a strong chest behind her, braking her idle fall.
“Of Luffy getting lost?” Law asked, wrapping his arms around her and leaning his chin on top of her head.
Nami huffed a laugh. There was no denying some truths.
A door closed somewhere in the distance and Nami realised they were alone, Brook giving them some space. A rarity indeed onboard the Sunny.
On this one night, she usually got all the space she needed. But his quiet tact was still appreciated.
For a moment, the only sound was the gentle clucking of waves lapping the hull.
“Are the stars leading you home tonight?” Law’s voice was low in her ear. Nami smiled, her surreptitious tries to swipe away the tears from her cheeks still hindered by strong arms.
“You know they are,” she answered, still gazing out over the calm sea. The stars were still shining bright, the Lady’s retinue disappearing behind her into the sea, beyond the horizon.
Sometimes she wondered if she would be able to find them there, to follow them over the edge of the world.
To find the place where the songs were the same as in her dreams and where a smiling lady of light lit her candles with the stars, the moon in her hands and the sea in her heart.
“But tonight, they keep me anchored where I want to be,” Nami said in a murmur, tilting her head up to look at Law. His hat shaded his eyes, as usual, but the gentle turn of his mouth as he followed her gaze towards where the last of the Lady’s maids winked out in the dawning winter sky made Nami’s heart stutter.
“May the Lady light your way,” she whispered, her own smile tinged with the calm of the season. Winter would soon be over.
“And the stars lead you home,” Law answered in kind, pressing a kiss to the top of her hair.
The solstice was Nami’s. It was her night, to spend as she wished.
Right now, she wanted nothing more than to spend the remaining hours with a pair of warm arms around her, a thermos of chocolate beside her, a lingering touch and look wrapped in her heart and a blanket keeping the cold at bay.
And above them, the stars continued their journey, reflected in the sea below.

On this blog I am going to tell you about my life. It may not matter to any of you because believe me, I don’t even know if it matters or makes sense to me either. I know people have worse shit but I feel like complaining and making my life seem way worse than it actually is. I feel like I want to be noticed because I am always the quiet one in school but I don’t want the people who know me to notice me I want random people who I might be able to connect to, to notice me. So just to be aware I am going to complain a lot and you guys, feel free to complain about me if you feel like I am being dramatic but you can also talk to me and complain TO me because I have learnt to listen not to speak and even though I am making this blog to speak out I also want to be able to help those who don’t feel like they can help themselves. I am not sure how this blog is going to turn out like if I am just going to log my days and talk about the shitty stuff or if I am going to talk about subjects which can effect (affect?) people’s lives. I might even just forget about posting because I am so unorganised but I will try to post even if no one is reading this. Some of the major topics I might talk about is school, friends and family but if I ever come across anything else then I might talk about that too. If you guys want me to talk about some topics ask and I will try my best to research about it or if you want my opinions on things just ask. Also, to be aware, I might not always post massive chinch’s of paragraphs like this. If no one comes across this then okay I don’t care but if someone does Hi!

My favorite is the lawn care report:
Aldrin: This is Buzz, here. I wonder if we could find out when the last time my lawn was cut. Over. Owen Garriott (in Mission Control): That might be a little more difficult to find out. I'm not sure whether the - whether Mike is ready to admit when he last did the job, but I'll look into that for you. Aldrin: Well, he'll tell you. He's got a new mower. Garriott: Roger. Collins: Hey, ask my chinch bugs how they're doing? Garriott: Well, I'm not sure about yours. I can let you know about my own, and the report isn't very good. (5-10 minutes later--) Joan wasn't home right now, Buzz, but Janice reports the grass is getting pretty high, and I would estimate that it's going to be close to your knees by the time you get out of quarantine. Over. Aldrin: Okay. I'll have to schedule a little discussion after I get back. Garriott: Rog. And no reports - no report from the chinch bugs there, Mike. Collins: Well, they're sort of taciturn little fellows. They don't say much, they just chomp away.

The Secret to a Healthy, Pest-Free Lawn
A lush, green lawn is the pride of any homeowner, but maintaining one can be a real challenge when pests come into play. Lawn pests like grubs, chinch bugs, and moles can wreak havoc on your beautiful green space, turning it into a patchy, unsightly mess. Fortunately, there is a secret to achieving a healthy, pest-free lawn, and it involves enlisting the expertise of lawn pest control companies. In this blog post, we'll explore the importance of professional lawn pest control services and how they can help you maintain a stunning lawn. The Hidden Threat: Lawn Pests Before we delve into the secret to a pest-free lawn, it's crucial to understand the enemy we're up against. Lawn pests come in various forms, and they can quickly turn your once-vibrant lawn into a disaster zone. Here are some of the most common lawn pests: - Grubs: These voracious larvae feed on grassroots, causing your lawn to brown and die in patches. - Chinch Bugs: These tiny insects suck the sap from grass, leading to yellow or brown patches in your lawn. - Moles: While not insects, moles can tunnel through your lawn in search of insects to eat, creating unsightly mounds and disrupting the grass's root system. - Weeds: While not pests in the traditional sense, weeds can choke out your grass and create an eyesore. The Secret Ingredient: Professional Lawn Pest Control Companies The secret to a pest-free lawn lies in the expertise and services provided by professional lawn pest control companies. These specialists are trained to identify, control, and prevent the spread of various lawn pests, ensuring your lawn remains healthy and vibrant throughout the year. This ensures that your lawn remains pest-free and healthy in the long run. - Environmentally Friendly Options: Many lawn pest control companies now offer environmentally friendly pest control options, reducing the impact on the ecosystem and making your lawn safer for your family and pets. - Time and Effort Savings: By outsourcing your lawn pest control needs to professionals, you save time and effort, allowing you to enjoy your lawn without the stress of constant maintenance and pest management. What to Look For in Lawn Care Programs to Get the Best One for You
Everyone wants to have a beautiful green lawn accentuating their house and helping to make it as attractive as possible. They also want their lawn to be easy to maintain and free of pests and weeds. With busy schedules, many people like you don't have the time or energy to put into your lawn maintenance program. That is why hiring one of the many lawn care companies in United States might be the answer to your problem. What you do need to do however, is to compare lawn services to find the one that suits you best-and the one that offers you the most for your money. Best Lawn Care Services in Fort Myers
Here are a few things you should look for before you commit to a professional lawn care service:
First of all, you need to decide whether you need a lawn care service to provide spring, summer, fall and/or winter lawn maintenance. If you do, try to choose a company that will fertilize your lawn in all seasons so that you end up with the greenest and healthiest grass possible.
You also need to decide if you want organic lawn services that use only as much control products as is necessary to keep weeds and pests under control. Organic lawn maintenance products, geared to different seasons, are your best option for the best lawn and for environmentally friendly purposes. Of course, you may want to delve into the blend and type of fertilizer that is used on your lawn, but sometimes it is best decided by the professional lawn care company you hire. Fort Myers Lawn care solutions
The professional lawn care service you decide on should guard against various pests as well. They should offer protection against chinch bugs and white grubs, while still remaining within the restraints of using as many environmentally friendly products as possible. A good option for dealing with grubs is the use of Nematode (biological) grub control. This method uses microscopic worms to kill grubs in your lawn. Ask if this type of treatment is available in the lawn maintenance program you choose.
Professional lawn service companies should also provide treatments for fungus problems, do professional soil tests, and use soil supplements and additives to give you the best lawn possible. They should provide core aeration, in which plugs of soil are removed to increase oxygenation to improve your soil structure and allow grass to grow better. They should also offer weed control protection and management for broadleaf weeds (such as dandelions, plantain, clover and others), creeping charlie (that thrives in moist, shady areas) and crabgrass.
Some lawn maintenance companies go beyond only looking after your lawn. Some companies will also help with vegetation control for driveways, patios and walkways. Some will also help control insects in your trees, or provide deep root feeding of your trees and shrubs. Lawn service companies like these go above and beyond in their lawn care programs, and if you require these services it is good to ask at the onset if the professional lawn maintenance company you decide on provides these options. Sanibel Lawn care Services
While comparing all of the products and lawn maintenance programs offered, you still need to look at costs. Compare the products and services of one professional lawn care program with another and find out which is most cost effective. Remember to compare 'apples with apples' so that you know you are getting the best price for your lawn maintenance service.

Burger Battle 2023, Round 2 - Chinched
When half your business is a deli, and a well-known and quality deli at that, you kind of have to do a deli meat burger don't you?
Chinched Bistro's offering this year is the Choripan Burger -Longaniza patty, lime pickled red onion, crispy onion strings, chimichurri mayo, mozzarella, avocado. If you had told me before the list came out that I would be eating two longanisa burgers in this contest, I would have asked you what a longanisa was. Turns out it's a Filipino sausage. Where's the other one? Stay tuned to the blog!
If I had to describe this burger in one word, that word would be "crispy". The patty had those deliciously lacy, crispy edges that are a telltale sign of a chef who knows their Maillard reactions. A smash burger without that finish is just a thin burger. I would also like to order a case of those crispy onions, please and thanks. Chinched seems to make a habit of that, as the whole family still raves about the soy pickled mushrooms from a few years ago (please bring them back chef!!!!). Everything on this burger just held hands and danced in circles together, exactly what you want when constructing a non-traditional burger like this.
Can I find fault with it? I guess if I have to say something, it could have done with an additional flavour note. Maybe a little spicy kick, or a hint of sweetness from something like a BBQ sauce or a corn relish. The inspiration here was clear, and it worked well, but with the seasoning from the longanisa and the tartness of the chimichurri and pickled onion, that creamy avocado was overworked. A minor complaint to be sure.
If the rest of the competition unfolds like the first two, I am going to have to pull the winner out of a hat. Sarah thinks this is ahead of Gahan, I have it the other way, but it's close.

One night wwx wakes up in the middle of the night and, oh, he's dreaming. He's in Lotus Pier, it's a calm balmy night, he's walking between the buildings and across the ponds, and his heart swells, because he's home. These dreams are the worst and the best, because they leave him with heavy heart and wet eyes, but he yearns so much...!
And usually in these dreams he sees Jiang Yanli. He waits for this, for her to walk out of some alcove, or he will take a turn around the building and he will see her sitting in a gazebo, drinking tea and reading, or mending his robes, and she will look up at him and smile, and say...
"Sect Leader, is everything alright?"
No, that's now what she'd say to him.
Huh, in his dreams there was never anyone but them in Lotus Pier. Certainly not some nameless disciples that looks at him with respect and concern the longer Wei Wuxian isn't answering... What's that? Some new dream? Some alternative reality where he became the sect leader and not... What? That would mean that in this reality Jiang Cheng...
A cold shiver runs down his spine.
"Where's Jiang Cheng?" He asks without thinking and...
It's not his voice that spoke for him.
He stills. The disciple looks at him with mounting confusion and Wei Wuxian looks down at his clothes - he's wearing purple. The embroidered robe he knows so well, with a wide belt chinching him in the waist (his own waist was never this thin and Mo Xuanyu is shorter, what...) and on his hand for the first time he feels the weight of silver and biting, hot spiritual power, and the moment he looks at her, Zidian glares...
He wakes up with a question on his lips, with Lan Zhan's arm heavy across his waist and a questioning gaze.
"Lan Zhan, you won't believe what strange dream I had!"
A month later a misisve from Jin Ling reaches him.
That's how they learn Wei Wuxian has been unknowingly possessing Jiang Cheng for the last few weeks.
Please tell me there's at least one fic where Wei Wuxian's return means that Jiang Cheng's golden core starts to glitch and cause problems (wants to return to its original owner) and the only way to deal with it is dual cultivation-___-
Please.

If you wanna hear, I've got a rather old and very dusty little Clan called MoleClan. They're called that because they live in tunnels under ground in a mostly otherwise bare territory. They have bad rep with the other three Clans they live with and have come to be fairly recently. The one who started it is a solid blue cat named Boulderstar. He was once from FeatherClan, though he got ridiculed by his clanmates because he was a bit too big for the Clan's small cat standards and ran away (1)
Ooooooh this is such an interesting concept. I think I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of stories that involve Clan cats or former Clan cats making their own Clans whether it be out of necessity or because that’s the lifestyle they’re most used to living. These types of story have so much potential in my mind because its always interesting to see how StarClan or other existing Clans react, and watching Clan structure be built from the ground up is always super interesting! MoleClan strikes me as really neat because it’s comprised mostly of rogues who welcomed Aster/Boulderpelt in and they both learned from each other how best to make things work! Also! The idea that we get to see the angle of characters that aren’t conventionally good (like Boulderstar’s attacks on the other Clans), is always fun in terms of story telling! Thank you so much for sharing your story with me, it seems really different and intriguing!!
