I’ve been good! Been on and off tumblr for a bit due to a variety of different things (namely university) but I’m slowly crawling my way back! I’m on my second-to-last semester and trying to get an internship / looking for masters/PhD programs have been kicking my ASS

My friend has also gotten me into Haikyuu! (I think that’s how it’s spelled?) and I’m loving it so far! It’s such a slice of life and I have unofficially adopted the Karasuno first years as my children.

But yea! Just trying to juggle adulting and personal life! Thought I got the hang of it last year, but new shit always manages to surprise me -_-

Shadow only ever fights Tails when he's also fighting Sonic. He's as rough with him as he is with anyone in his way, like Sonic or Knuckles.

When I was thinking about my own headcanons for TLT, I realized that as the only other surviving "child", Ortus as the "older brother" probably had to keep the feral lesbians from killing each other with their teeth.

And of course being encouraged in his poetry by (probably) Gideon, to piss off Harrow.

I’ve been thinking about BENT all day. Specifically a scenario where Don gets hurt in a place he can’t repair himself? Like a wire gets knocked loose in his central processing unit and he has to write down the instructions for his own brain surgery and hope they were clear enough for his brothers to understand? Can you imagine the amount of trust that would take? The weight of responsibility on whoever was doing it? And that’s the best case scenario where he’s conscious to know what’s wrong and how to fix it!

Luckily, between the thee of them I think they’d have his back. Although it wouldn’t be a smooth process

A moment of mourning for Sakura for words she would have once given anything to hear from Sasuke....

Kind of followup to THIS comic.

But she and Saeko have had their revenge for Enji, and Sakura has had time to heal and find closure. She won't be any good to Sasuke because she's already left that path, and she won't abandon her coven/responsibilities either.

She's learned alot about Konoha over the past few years, and has to a big degree, deprogrammed herself from the Leaf's propaganda thanks to all her teachers and some brutal life experience, so she doesn't actually care if Sasuke were to raze the entire council/kages to the ground- but there ARE people (ino, Kakashi, lee, naruto etc-) who she loves and wants to protect, so she'll stay, for them.

Sasuke, for his part, is happy to have someone just verbalize that they empathize with his pain and that his desire for revenge is justified, though he's doesn't have the bandwidth to really understand where Sakura is right now, emotionally.

In this AU I kind of had an end for Sasuke where he is pardoned, but never returns to the village, though he does pass by once in a blue moon. When he does, Sakura (who doesn't end up living IN the village as much as in the forests of Konoha like their own little witch of the woods) is there to help with healing/supplies and they do end up as good, yet distant friends.

i'm a bit curious, so does your chat noir view ladybug less as a friend and more as a colleague? the way you described their dynamic where he's the protector, is it solely because he feels it's his duty or is it also because he cares about his friend? love your au!

It changes as their relationship develops!!

So at first, Chat Noir definitely saw Ladybug as more of a colleague. Most of all his relationships outside of his family were business-related (thanks to his parents), so he never had any friendships with people his age. Since she was the only one who can cure akumas, he felt like he was “working” with her to complete what was expected of them, which he had done basically his whole life up until this point.

HOWEVER ☝️🤓, as he started getting to know Ladybug, he realized that she actually saw him as a person. She would notice when he’s sad, ask about his day, be concerned/worry about him, and engage in conversations and listen to him respond. She was also funny, clever, and never shut him down for his antics but followed along and they had fun together every time they had to take down akumas.

Not just a replaceable body hired to do the job, but a meaningful partner. He really felt seen with her, and then he stopped thinking of her as a co-worker and more of a friend. She was pretty much his very first real friend ever in his life. (Nino in this AU and him aren’t close, but I’ll also explain that later giggles) And he ALSO knows it’s not because of his looks, since he wears a mask, which is also a bonus.

This was around the time he started developing feelings, but was too focused in getting Marinette’s attention to realize how much he really liked Ladybug.

They do this cute pinkie-promise thing too and it’s like a promise they’ll always have each other’s backs 🥹

We get to asking him about the curse he allegedly inflicted on Sete Gibernau at the 2004 Qatar GP, where Honda notoriously had Rossi sent to the back of the grid, since when the Spaniard has apparently lost the ability to win. At first Vale hasn't got a clue what we're going on about, he's looking at us like we're nuts, then his face brightens into a big, evil grin as he mimics the act of stuffing needles into a voodoo doll. Poor Sete, what can he do, his deadly rival isn't just superhuman, he's actually supernatural.
