I was thinking about how it can be difficult to figure out our own creatures' anatomies because there are no direct references to draw from, and how I tend to draw my aliens in the same poses, and boom, this happened. Prompts to practice and push the limits of your alien's anatomy :) Aimed at sophonts, but a lot of them can apply to non-sapient beasties too.

given that arknights chapter 14 has shown us the true full extent of the confessarius/theresis' sarkaz cloning experiments for dead sarkaz subraces with the chimeras, i think it makes my surtr backstory theory (tldr shes a diablo clone ala nightingale being a 'king of sarkaz' clone project) kind of. potentially hilarious? like still 100% possible in a serious context but consider:

so like. funny mental image of qui'sartustaj just walking along his lab looking at the test tube chimera living weapon monsters he was making by combining sarkaz dna, seeing a random ass normal girl among said monsters, and going "throw it out." and then on the fall from the cliff surtrs hand coincidentally landed on the surtr sword and jumpstarted her like a car

what are the things that annoy you that loumand haters say?

everything a loumand hater says annoys me 😤 a loumand hater is my true enemy 😤 that being said here's a summary of the things i don't like:

"louis and armand never loved each other" sorry you're wrong. yes they did. and if i can be more controversial? they loved each other in dubai. they'll love each other again. a part of them loves each other still.

when people make armand exclusively and by large margin the victim of their relationship because louis was uhhh. checks notes. a bad dom. like i think that we are forgetting that armand has spent centuries trying and often succeeding! to manipulate every scenario to his will. including directing the play that killed claudia and madeline. armand so often succeeds in this that i think fandom (incl. me) finds it fun to focus on the times when he fails, but like. he is a master manipulator.

double the point above when people act like daniel is saving armand from louis and is perfect for him where louis was a mean and unloving and uncaring abuser. so many problems with that i can't even start

very frustrating to me in general when people make the shades of grey show into the black and white moral issues show. but especially especially frustrating to me when we can love the shades of grey when it comes to everyone but louis and armand. like this is the unhealthy relationships show but suddenly the guys who were together for 77 years aren't in love and weren't ever? please............
