I chose Phoenix and Dawn because I miss them dearly right now, but also...

💙TODAY IS THEIR ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! I mean, in the story they got together in August like seven years ago, but this scene was posted one year ago today! I can't believe it! 🥹

💙My favorite thing about these two is how incredibly supportive they are of each other. My favorite example of this is in this scene where Phoenix takes Dawn to the bench where he used to talk to his mom. He said it was the best way he could think of to introduce them, and Dawn didn’t even hesitate, just jumped in and started talking as if his mom was really there, and I know it meant so much to him. The other would be this scene where Dawn expresses that she wants to leave her job and stay home with Aspen. Phoenix wasn’t fond of this idea. It puts a lot of pressure on him financially, and honestly, he would’ve loved to be the one to stay home with her. He probably could’ve plead his case to do so, but instead of pushing back he said, “how do we make this work?” and they figured it out.

💙They encourage each other to remain individuals. It’s difficult in this stage of life, between careers and marriage and parenting, to maintain a sense of self. One thing they always encourage each other to do is to pursue their own interests. In this scene we see Phoenix pushing Dawn to go have a self-care day to destress and indulge her interest in yoga and meditation. It’s been more difficult for Phoenix lately since his career is becoming more demanding, but he does still make time to run every morning before everyone wakes up.

💙They’re dreamers. One of the things they love most is talking about their plans and dreams for the future. Dawn has always been a very future-focused person. It’s a coping mechanism that keeps her distracted from her past, but it also allows her to maintain her optimistic nature, and it’s rubbed off on Phoenix.

💙They rarely fight. In most situations, they’re excellent at communicating and working through things. It’s rare they can’t find a middle ground. However, we recently saw a situation where Dawn let unresolved issues from her past lead her to break Phoenix’s trust, and that led to their biggest fight ever. When we last left them, they were doing okay, but I think it would be unrealistic to say that everything is suddenly fine now. There is some work to be done for Dawn to face her past and earn that trust back. More on that when we return to them in Part 5.

met this person; he is currently stationed in a city that is literally just about an hour away from me, but i just found out today that he is getting his new new orders soon and he’ll be leaving in august. But, the thing is i’m not sure what we are doing considering we’ve been talking for about a month and i met him and his friends already. His friends loved me and all, but now i have to have the “what are we doing?” talk before he ends up shipping out to his next station. what should i do?

Ahhh TYSM for sending me this ask!!! Honestly, the timing could not be more perfect because I have been wanting to give Lex the spotlight for quite some time now!! I cannot tell you how much I ✨adore✨ this girl!!! And let me tell you why....

💚Lex McPhee💚

Ahhh we love Lex, you guys! She is loud and extroverted and optimistic and compassionate and gives the biggest tightest hugs in the whole world! She's protective of those she loves, and has no issue telling off those she despises. She's very honest, and will always tell you truth, even if it hurts, but she won't be insensitive about it. Like.. "I know you don't want to hear this, but I'll be here with you while you process it" kinda vibes.

"Lex" is actually short for Lexus, which she absolutely hates. No one who wants to keep all their teeth would ever call her that... even her parents eventually gave it up. (She'd probably be angry that I even told you so shhhhh)

Speaking of her parents... She does not get along with them. They aren't necessarily terrible, they've just never seen eye to eye. They're very materialistic and snobbish and care too much about appearances. They fought a lot when she was growing up, and she was happy to leave home as soon as she could.

Where's that you ask? Brindleton Bay, of course! She grew up there, as did Asher, and the two of them have been Best Friends since middle school. They're both very energetic and animated when they speak, so the two of them telling a story together is either overwhelming or hilarious, depending on the person. And they tend to rile each other up and start bickering or wrestling or having silly competitions that spring up out of nowhere. (Lex is also *very* competitive lol)

After high school, she moved to San Myshuno. While she was sad that Ash didn't join her, she was glad to be in the city. She got a job as a tester at a gaming company while she went to school, and eventually became a developer there. And this is where she met Atlas! The two of them became friends quickly.. the extrovert adopting the introvert.. a tale as old as time.

BONUS: A few years later, Asher moved in with Lex in San Myshuno and got a job at the same gaming company where he met Atlas 🥰 Stay tuned for more on that in Part 4 🤸🏻‍♀️✨

Hey Guys! Mushy Monday

Hey guys my name is Lynzie. I have been a Dolan stan since basically forever but I just created this blog about a week ago. I wanna get into writing concept and doing FSM requests. So with the help of @aphroditedolan I came up with the concept of MUSHY MONDAY. 

Basically mushy Monday is going to be mushy stuff you guys can send in for concepts such as “The first time Ethan realizes he loves Y/N is when they are eating breakfast”, “Grayson get’s mad at Y/N and then gets sad after caus he made her cry”, “Ethan gets upset after leaving rope marks on Y/N wrists”, “Grayson when Y/N is in subdrop and how he feels/how he deals with it”, “Alpha e when he fell for his beta Y/N”, “Ethan meeting his girl at the coffee shop for the first time”. Things like that. Really mushy Monday can be anything you make it. It can be any concept you want to send in.
