7. your preferred writing fonts

for free writing where i just throw out words and thoughts and write whatever comes to mind i prefer comic sans! idk why, whenever im in a block it gets my juices going !! but when im writing a planned out scene, drafting or simply editing, i always go with times new roman. i think its a brain injury at this point from school strictly using it but i do think its pretty!

18. if you keep them, share a deleted sentence or paragraph from a published fic

i dont keep them most of the time, but i just dug up this note that was supposed to be in inked coffee!

"Hey sleeping beauty," you smile, throwing your stack of books down onto the table that Shinsou's sitting by. Startled from the sound he sits up and quirks up an eyebrow, "isn't that sort of an ironic nickname to give someone with insomnia?"

You roll your eyes at him and sit down opposed of him, pushing half the books his way, his notebook almost falling off of the table if he hadn't caught it. You shake your head as well as an extra act of teasing, "it's a spell, Shinsou. I'm casting a spell."

i think its actually a really fun little scene/joke, so i might use it in amethyst haze 👀 hmmm... good thing you sent this question, made me look thru my notes and drafts !!

29. how easy it is for you to come up with titles?

thats actually genuinely the Hardest absolute part for me 😭 i struggle with it like its an university level sort of math equation. i usually reach out to friends. @dira333 is amazing at them and has helped me numerous times come up with the most amazing and beautiful titles!!!! i have very very few works where the title was planned from the beginning. dermovat is named after my psoriasis cream bcos its about eczema and i thought thatd be funny. rotisserie chicken only came to life because my friend said i turn like one in my sleep! i also came up with proposals plus one because i just finished godzilla minus one!! 🙂‍↕️🧡 those are probably the only ones ive really come up with that was like. easy to me!!!!

OK, fair warning to the few people I actually managed to convince to try the game??

Rain world does NOT play like hollow knight, and you'll get your butt kicked if you approach it like that.

It's really hard. Like, really hard. Instead of the game literally giving you abilities in the form of power-ups and damage buffs, the only abilities you gain is from what you learn and your own ingenuity. You're a rat from beginning to end. If you just beef your way through it, it's gonna suck and you're gonna be confused and frustrated all the time. But if you pay attention, take it slow, and learn how the ai works and how everything interacts with each other, you can consistently get through and dominate situations you thought were impossible to do so when you first began. Now get out there, kill some lizards, and bully some old computers!

you know when you’re really tired and dizzy and you want to sleep but your brain literally won’t shut up and allow you to sleep… anyways so 2am five constructed a whole universe where max is a single dad who races for red bull’s esport team and here’s him and his daughter meeting daniel for the first time

“Hi,” Daniel crouches down and offers a hand for Max’s daughter to shake. She’s a carbon copy of her dad, same piercing blue eyes and dark blonde hair tied up in a braid behind her head.

She looks at the hand, then at Daniel, then back at the hand again, blinking rapidly. “I’m Daniel. It’s lovely to meet you.”

After another beat of her making no indication to move (and a nudge from her dad), she finally reaches out and shakes his hand.

“I’m Ellie,” she says quietly, filled with childlike wonderment. “You’re Daniel.”

Daniel laughs, repeating himself. “I’m Daniel. I like your name Ellie.”

Ellie’s eyes go even wider and he’s managed to activate whatever button kids have to suddenly accept that an adult is cool, because she manages to shake off the initial shock and starts talking a million miles an hour.

”I like my name too, because sometimes telling everyone my full name Danielle takes too much time. I know it’s only four letters but every second counts—oh,” she reaches up and takes the hat off her head and passes it to him.

It’s an older Red Bull hat, still has the Infiniti logo from 2014. “It’s my dad’s,” she tells him. “But he made me ask because he’s too scared.”

“Ellie!” Max looks embarrassed, turning away from them and putting his hand over his mouth. Even still, Daniel can see the way his cheeks flush pink.

“I think it’s so cool that you race with the number three,” Ellie continues, making no indication of giving her poor dad any respite. “Dad used to race with the number three as well, and he was really good.”

Daniel looks back up at Max whose cheeks only seem to turn more pink and is intensely staring at the wall behind him. Something deep inside his stomach starts to grow, swirling around as it grabs onto anything that’ll hold.

He hasn’t felt this way in a long time.
