🌼- What’s your favorite thing about this oc?

I think it would be how she has grown and evolved with me since I created her more than a decade ago. All the little details that have come to polish her as a character through the years. 

🌱- Does this oc have any pets? Do they have any pets they want?

She has Jirou and Kojirou if they count as pets. If not, she wouldn’t mind having a dog, although she would struggle to wake up early to take it for a walk. Takeshi would end up in charge of that.

☁️- What is this oc’s clothing style like?

Until college, Rio and Takeshi shared clothes, so the same things you would see him wearing were the ones she used as well.

After that, she works on finding her own style, which goes from denim jeans and simple shirts combined with oversized blazers as casual wear to tailored business suits for work.

If there’s an important celebration and she must wear a dress, adult Rio will choose a long dress with an open or low back to show her tattoo and would add a cape if necessary.

🌵- How does this oc feel about physical affection?

Physical affection is a core part of Rio’s love language to the ones dear to her. She finds comfort in holding hands, hugs and gentle caresses, and will give them to the few ones who gained a special place in her heart in the same amount she would like to receive them. This is unless said person preferred otherwise (looking at Hibari), in which case she’d restrain herself as much as possible.

If someone she’s not close to suddenly gives her physical affection she will most likely allow it with a smile but won’t return it comfortably.

🌾- How does this oc get along with people they just met?

At the very moment of meeting, Rio’s good perception starts reading the other person’s character and adapts to them. She tends to keep new people at a distance at the same time she appears open and friendly (exceptionally if she’s imitating Takeshi), and shifts the focus of the interaction to the other person to avoid causing a bad impression, or an impression at all.

💧- What is this oc most passionate about?

Apart from the obvious, her family, who she would proudly talk about for hours, Rio is most passionate about the restaurant. She has wanted to keep the business going after her father since she was little, admiring Tsuyoshi’s mastery as a chef and enjoying her time helping out. She’s an avid learner of all the necessary skills to inherit it.

🖊️ - yes! In total she has 3 tattoos! and yes she wants to have more, on her hand and ankle >:3

🩹- most of her medical records are crossed out hmmhmm but she does suffer from spinal cord injury (recovery status mostly completed but experiences complications) and repetitive strain injury on one of her wrist....and uh +[number] of undiagnosed stuff xD

🎶- (I love this one) yUS oldies has a special place in her heart, she's quite into jazz, romance and rock. You'll find her zoning out with bluetooth earphones often :3

💛- a "few" (mainly Asian languages including Mandarin, Arabic, Cantonese, Japanese etc) - the rest of the languages she knows are mainly on "can understand can't speak" basis. They are currently learning Spanish and Russian (no thanks to a certain pilot...)

💕-who confessed first

Shadow Milk Cookie, 100%.

Despite Snickerdoodle being blunt, and is definitely the type to tell someone how she feels about them, that’s the case when her feelings are negative. If she hates you? You’ll know that, right away. If you’re her favorite person on the planet? You’ll have to figure that out on your own. She’s taking that to her grave.

Shadow Milk Cookie, on the other hand, is the most confident bastard you’ll EVER meet. He’s 99.9% sure that he’s not getting rejected if he confesses. And I hate to say that he’s right, cause that’ll only inflate his ego even more.

I saw this cute head canon that said he would confess by doing a puppet show. And that? Is so cute??? I’m stealing that. It’s mine now.

🫶-Who fell first

Both of them probably fell around the same time. Not extremely quick, since when they first met he was literally trying to kill her and her friends, but after the main group defeats him and he’s left mostly powerless and harmless (<- headcanon of mine!) they would both interact more and eventually fall.

They both fall relatively quick due to both of them not being used to having someone like each other. Shadow Milk Cookie I believe to have been withdrawn even before his fall into deceit, only growing relationships when they were forced onto him. And after his fall, he didn’t have a chance to grow any more relationships other than with the other beast cookies due to being locked up in a tree for thousands of years.

And it’s hard to dig into why Snickerdoodle cookie isn’t used to having someone like him without going DEEP into her lore, maybe I’ll make a separate post if people wanna know it, but I’ll just leave it that she’s used to being rejected. Not necessarily in the romantic way, but in familial and platonic ways. Hell, she had trouble finding a kingdom that would accept her for being different (again, trying to not go to deep into it because I don’t want to lore dump on yall lmao) So when she finds Shadow Milk, who not only accepts her and her differences, but full on embraces them, holds them up on a pedestal, she falls pretty damn hard without realizing.

Shadow Milk would realize immediately, after all, he was literally the cookie of knowledge at some point, he knows when he loves someone.

While Snickerdoodle would not realize until one of her friends (hell, maybe even Pure Vanilla) would have to tell her that she likes Shadow Milk Cookie.

❤️‍🔥-Who takes the lead with showing affection

Definitely depends on what point in their relationship they’re in at the time, but both of them love showing their affection for each other in the end, Shadow Milk cookie is just more louder with his his affection than Snickerdoodle is.

Both of them are pretty touch starved, especially Shadow Milk after he was trapped in a tree for literally thousands of years. Whenever Doodle would touch him in any way he would freeze up and try to register what was happening. But after he gets used to touch? Oh boy, he’s not letting go of her, people have to pry him off of her sometimes.

In the touch department, both of them are really good at showing their affection, they’re not scared of PDA, they actually love it. Makes people throw up sometimes. (Also, their main love language is biting, idk why, they just match each others freak ig)

Shadow Milk cookie is better in the Gift giving and words of affirmation department. Snickerdoodle definitely gets flustered while trying to compliment him while he has no chill. He compliments her 24-7. (Although there is some angst with Snickerdoodle not always trusting his words due to him being the beast of deceit)

BUT, Snickerdoodle takes over the quality time and acts of service department. To be fair, she’s used to doing acts of service to try to show her worth to other cookies, and Shadow Milk absolutely HATES it when she does something for him instead of just cuddling with him.

No babe, I don’t need you to reorganize my bookshelf, I need cuddles. Come her right now or I’m going to lose it.

🐱-Do they have pet names for eachother

Oh. My. GOD. Anyone who knows Shadow Milk Cookie knows that he canonically gives nicknames to almost everyone he knows in game. So of course he would have literally thousands for Snickerdoodle. I’ve decided to just do a list and color code it to show which’s ones they enjoy :)

🧸-Would they want kids together

Funnily enough, this is literally the only selfship I’ve had that I’ve even CONSIDERED the thought of kids. In the end, I don’t think I’ll really explore that concept. But to actually answer that question-

Shadow Milk cookie is the one I see wanting kids the most. I’m a true believer that even before his fall, he would love kids, giving them his knowledge, and even after his fall, he would enjoy entertaining them with puppet shows or whatnot. So of course he wouldn’t mind having one of his own!

Snickerdoodle on the other hand would be somewhat terrified? She loves kids! She really does! And I’m SO confident that if they did have kids she would be like a proud cat mom. BUT she’s used to being rejected, like I said earlier, what if her own kids reject her? That would break her. Or worse, what if the thing about her that make other cookies wary of her spread to her kid? What if she’s the cause that her own kid is rejected from other cookies? Of course that would never happen but I think she would be to scared of them concept to have them in the end, which is fine by Shadow Milk.
