Subject: What is your twst OC's best subject? Worst? Do they study with another whom excels at the same subject? Do they ask anyone for help with the subject they are bad at?

Kyra’s best subject is Animal Lingustics! And her worst subject is any subject that involves magic. Other than that, shes pretty good with her academics! (Well, when shes not skipping classes and ignoring her schoolwork.)

Kyra has always had an affinity towards animals, usually “talking” to them back in her original world as she wasnt really allowed to have any friends— so she turned to talking to animals instead (doves especially). Its pretty pathetic honestly but we love her for it 🫶🫶

I can see characters like Riddle trying to help her out with school work (emphasis on ‘trying’), but Kyra usually doesn’t want to be helped … Though, there are times where she does end up needing help and she usually turns to Jamil when that happens 😭

But !! She ends up becoming sort of study-buddies with Malleus after one of their late night walks where she mentions her troubles with paying attention in class and bad habits with ignoring schoolwork until the last second. So !! Ever since then, she’s improved thanks to Malleus :3

【Manetric】 - What's your favorite video game?

I'm about to have a slightly lukewarm take. I like sonic unleashed. The Lycan-Slash gameplay was fun, the towns and humans looked great, and say what you want about the "realism" of the stretchy arm but I think it works just as well as the super speed does, power wise. It's an exaggeration of pokemon morphology; Midnight Lycanrock is famously lanky, just like how sandslash can roll fast.

1 — canon i absolutely reject

honestly ?? yttd is so well written that i don't know there's anything i dislike abt how shin is written. i love that he's short and loserish and pathetic, but equally capable of remorse and genius and self-loathing. i guess i reject the screaming death flags he's throwing up with his 0% chance of winning.....

8 — unpopular opinion about them

he's so unlike ouma it's unreal and seeing them get compared beyond surface-level similarities makes me skin itch. i elaborate on it here . if im going a bit more controversial i think his relationship w midori is SO interesting and i really like fic that explores that, and i dont think everyone who does that should be lumped in as a soushin shipper . i dont want them to kiss and get married i want to dissect them on ym science table .

37 — what they really think of themselves

INTERESTING. i think it's pretty clear shin has some low self-esteem and this is what fuels him throughout the killing game. HOWEVER what i really like abt him is that he believes he has a right to live, something that is actually fairly rare in genres like a death game. loads of main characters will end up making a sacrifice for someone else, i.e. mishima and kanna, but what drives shin to create the false identity and try to get rid of sara is that he WANTS to live, even if it's at the expense of everyone else. so his self-esteem is low, but out of something—spite, or maybe pure human preservation—it doesn't manifest in a way that makes him feel worthless or subservient to others, which we see in characters like komaeda. it's a very interesting brand of self-hatred. he goes through the game like he has something to prove.

Oh god 100% yes- feel like matching accessories would be mine and hers friend love language in a way 😭 most definitely matching bracelets!!! She's a huge anime fan so some definitely based off of that- like sailor moon matching jewerly!!!

You are correct that it is on the softer side, it’s also a little angsty, a little hurt/comfort but with a happy ending! Originally I had the idea for another character but decided to write it for Alfred Pennyworth my beloved

You’re trying not to fall for the older man you can’t have and he doesn’t make it any easier for you to get over your feelings, maybe he’s even suggesting he feels something too but can you allow yourself to think it could work?

I’m still working on backstory, Reader and Alfred are definitely going to be working together…maybe a lab setting? Lots of feelings and held back thirst for this one!!

The title is from a song of the same name by Joji and there’s a line in it that goes “don’t follow me you’ll end up in my arms” and I think that sums up how much yearning I want there to be in this 🤩

🍃- How does your f/o calm you down when you or your oc are stressed out? Or the inverse, how do you help your f/o calm down when they're stressed out?

Miakoda gets stressed since she's not only a Hashira, but has had 3 Tsuguko's to take care of. Pile that onto her existing medical issues, and she can definitely get stressed often. I imagine Obanai helps her out by taking her out stargazing. He'd drag her away when she's alone and just find a nice, quiet place for them to relax. He'd bring some tea along (extra sweet, ofc :>) and they'd just enjoy the late night stars in silence. They don't need to talk, after all talking can be hard. Just being together is enough for now. It also helps Obanai relax if he's feeling stressed because he can just admire his pretty gf.

🎆 - What is your ships favorite kind of date to go on? Do you go on it often or is it reserved for special occasions?

Favorite is going to have to be a sleepover, believe it or not. It's very easy to set up, and it's secluded. They have it at Obanai's since Miakoda's place is often visited by many low ranks. They reserve it for when they're both free of Hashira duties hehe.

Miakoda definitely drags Obanai into creating a fort and sleeping inside it. Kaburamaru gets his own little nest, too!

A: everyone’s fine, I guess. Polites really is the nicest, he didn’t care when he found out who my mom is. The dude’s a hugger, but once you get used to that, it’s kinda nice.

I don’t really know Eurylochus all too well, but he’s practically double my size and I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t at least a little intimidating. But I tend to rely on the other person to carry the conversation, and he isn’t much of a talker. But I guess that just means we have more in common? Maybe, I don’t know

Cap’s a pretty cool guy if you can stay on his good side. But what can I say? We have the same sense of humor and I’m a charming bastard. So I never get into too much trouble with him. But uh, I haven’t really been acting up ever since the incident. He still makes excuses to bully me though

Ugh, you want me to talk about Perimedes? Fine. He’s an annoying dick, but damn is he funny. Except when he’s bothering me. Then he’s just annoying. Ever since he’s found out I’m ticklish, he won’t give me a break. He started out with pokes or quick scribbles, and that was tolerable. But now he’s just gotten to be a little too bold

Leander’s just about the best roommate I could ask for. He’s fairly clean, and he’s nice to talk to. He’s just a big lovable dork, and I honestly wouldn’t want to room with anyone else. He’s really helped me come out of my shell. But uh, I could go without his wake up calls

Huh? Who am I forgetting? Oh, Elpenor! Right! Um, he’s pretty fun to be around. Pretty funny too. Loves a good prank. He makes for a decent partner in crime, except for the one time it was a set up. But between you and me? He’s kinda cute. Don’t you dare tell anyone I said that!

L: the crew’s honestly great, I get along with pretty much everyone!

Polites and I are practically two peas in a pod! We get along great, & we have a ton in common! It’s nice to hang out with someone else who’s not always so serious, haha! We have a ton of tickle fights, and that always seems to lighten the mood

Eueylochus, my man! I get paired with him a lot for work, so I get to spend a lot of time with him. He’s a great listener! I’m still trying to get him to open up more, but we’re getting there!

The captain’s a swell guy, & I respect him a lot! He knows what he’s talking about, so I’ll do what I’m told. I appreciate the fact that he’s not all business all the time, it’s healthy to take a break every now and then

Elpenor’s a riot, you never know what’s gonna happen when he bets involved. He definitely livens things up around here! He’s always biting off more than he can choose, which is why he starts tickle fights he can’t win

Don’t let Perimedes fool you, he has more of a soft side than he wants you to believe. He pretends to be an asshole, but once you get to know him, he’s not so bad. Don’t tell him I told you though, for some reason he really cares about his emotionless persona. I’m trying to make him realize it’s not bad to have feelings. But hey, at least he seems to be having fun with all the pranks he & Elpenor pull

Asterios is one of my best friends on the ship! He’s not as grumpy as he likes to pretend, and I think we balance each other out, personality wise. I just have to get him to loosen up!
