So, what if The League of Villains finds out about Dabi’s s/o because they all saw their teammate on the 6 o’clock news stealing from a Build-A-Bear Workshop at the mall in 4K! “Witnesses claim they saw a suspicious man in dark clothing sprinting with out a stuffed animal and a bag full of accessories. One bystander said, ‘It was really strange! Isn’t he supposed to be a mass murderer?’”. And then the next day, Dabi shows up, laid back as ever, and finds all of his friends co-workers staring at him with shock, amusement, & confusion all on their faces. And boy does he have some explaining to do! I know it’s stupid lmfao but I know you know this is something that would definitely happen🧸💙

Dabi was quite a feared villain. He was a villain, he had attacked random citizens and even killed some, he burned down cities, and so much more.

Yet, you would never guess that with the way he treats you. You were his hostage and he was obsessively in love with you, but he was always so kind to you. Yet he treated you so well.

Like just the other night where you begged Dabi to take you to go get a plushie. He thought that you were god for him so he decided to get you what you wanted.

However he decided that you wouldn’t go with him as it was still to early and he feared you might try to run away. So he decided to go in the middle of the night and rob a toy store just a plushie for you.

He hadn’t expected though that this little robbery would be all over the news. Yes, he had been caught stealing before, but the media had never gone wild like this. Some many people where wondering.

Their question was simply: why? Why was this feared villain stealing a teddy bear of all things? Well the short abs simple answer was for you. However nobody knew that he was the one who kidnapped you or that you were even still alive.

However he wouldn’t tell anyone and he didn’t care that people thought it was strange that he stole what he did. It was all worth it to see your bright smile when holding the plush. It was worth it to see how happy you were, he was happy to see you snuggle with it. So it was worth it.

You look down at Dabi from in his lap, one of his mandated cuddle sessions. Your stuffed animal you got in your arms.

“I saw the news today” you giggle, Dabi raising an eyebrow at your giggling. “Sorry I ruined your reputation as the big bad villain” you smile, referring to how everyone was speculating why a villain got a cutesy plushie.

“It’s actually funny, you shoulda’ seen the way the league looked at me after” Dabi says, chuckling a bit at his words.

Remembering the way the other villains looked at him, although they didn’t say anything as it wasn’t really any of their business and as long as he helped the league when they asked, them they didn’t care what else he did besides that.

You smile at him, trying not to laugh while imagining a group of villains just looking at him strangely. But you were glad he went out and got you the plush.

You knew that he would probably get it for you but you were glad he wasn’t upset that the news saw him stealing it and know reporting on it and wondering why he stole it. Hell, you even saw all their ridiculous theories.

Dabi would gladly go get you another one if you asked, even if the cops try to catch him again and the people gossip. He was a softie for you, he would get you anything you asked for.

Terms used in this blog

Headcanons: Personal theory or concept about a theme or character, what one thinks could be canon like how they would react in a certain situation.

Imagines: Short stories or ideas about a topic involving the characters. I personally see imagines as possible one-shots or headcanons depending on what the imagine proposed made me think about.

One-Shot: A story with only one chapter.

S/I: Self insert. It’s a term used when someone inserts their own selves in a story. It can also be a variant for S/O.

S/O: Significant other. It’s a term used for the person the character is emotionally involved with, usually romantically and already in a relationship.

Little Details

The reader will be addressed with gender-neutral pronouns (they/them) unless the request specifies the gender.

If the request is too vague, I’ll take the liberty to do what comes to mind in the best way I can. For example, if I receive an ask that says "could you do Leo asking for advice to ask his crush out?” I will write whatever I feel like fits this idea the best (HC, OneShot, etc.)

I will make mistakes, grammatical and orthographic mistakes. If you notice them, do let me know. I want to improve and I appreciate any tips and comments you guys have ^^

Q: Update schedule? A: The story is complete! We are now answering asks, reblogging fan content, and posting behind-the-scenes content as we like.

Q: What fonts do you use? The fonts are AB Flock Text (dialogue) and Mission Gothic (chapter titles). Both fonts are free for personal use. (We used to use Stanberry.)

Q: How do you make the comic? What software programs do you use? A: Minty sketches the page on paper, Eruto lines and colors in Clip Studio, and Minty then adds the finishing touches in CSP and Photoshop. See the About for details.

Q: How long does it take to draw the comic? A: Between two artists, each page takes at least 15-25 hours from sketching to publishing. That means we spend 30-50 hours a week on the comic between school and work! This time does not include answering asks, managing the blog, and creating/streaming bonus art. Caretaker never sleeps!

Q: How do you answer all those Asks at once? A: It’s a process! We Draft each Ask individually, screenshot them, batch process them in Photoshop with a custom Action, add the processed Ask images in Tumblr text post, then write in replies between the Asks. It takes a while, but it certainly looks nice, doesn’t it?

Story Questions

Q: Chara and Frisk’s age? A: Chara is 36. Frisk is 12.

Q: Pronouns? A: They/them for both Chara and Frisk.

Q: Biological sex? A: Chara is male. Frisk is female. (Please respect that Chara is male in this AU.)

Q: Is Chara REALLY 36 years old? A: Yes. Please check out our timeline and the #what day is it tag for people’s theories.

Q: Is this a switched-role AU (i.e. Chara is swapped with Toriel)? A: Nope!

Q: Why do Frisk’s eyes turn yellow? A: Many of you guessed correctly. They flash yellow when Frisk Saves/Loads.

Why didn’t you answer my ask?

We get a LOT of asks. Which is great! We read every single one, along with replies, tags, and submissions. However, with our limited time we can only answer a choice few. Here’s what you can do to increase the chances of getting a reply.

Send it off anon! We’re more likely to respond privately than publicly.

Don’t ask for spoilers! Also, check this FAQ, Character page, and About page. We rarely respond to questions we’ve already answered.

Be funny and/or clever! We love jokes. We love theories. We’re more likely to publish these so everyone can see them.

Be polite! We don’t like rudeness. Kindness counts!

Be... lucky? Sometimes we get a bunch of great asks but they are all so similar we can only pick one to represent the masses. Still, it’s always worth testing your luck!

Remember, if you really really REALLY want your comments to be seen, it may be worth posting it as a Reply! Replies won’t get stuck in our inbox and are immediately readable by anyone who checks the notes. And we check Replies too!
