I was worried about Ashley since she had a mini meltdown prior to her session, but she ended up with a terrific shot! The angle of her face works well for her features and her expression has a very approachable vibe. The slight lean back is nice as well, it’s like she took this in motion and is smiling while walking past the camera. Ashley impressed me this week!

Ashley is full on seducing the camera and I love it! Her eyes are so sultry and her pout is spot on, plus the tilt of her head created the perfect position to highlight her facial features. Her seated pose, relaxed body language, and the way she placed her arms are all awesome as well. Ashley rebounded nicely with this performance.

Zipped Up–The latest shoot from REVOLVE Clothing features a look at fall coats with a grungy twist. Photographed and styled by Margaret Zhang, model Ashley Pogmore puts on her best cool girl attitude in “Zip it Up”. The dark-haired beauty wears menswear inspired coats as well as moto jackets and pants with zipper accents in the low-key images.

Ashley was one of the surprises of the cycle for me. In person she didn’t really come across as a model to me at first. However, she really transformed on film and showed how distinctive and gorgeous her face was. The real issue with Ashley was that she was inconsistent. She basically ping-ponged between stellar photos (like her Thailand and 1950s shots) and total duds (like her Vintage Lingerie and Luxe Sportswear shots) with no real improvement or regression. Her face was her biggest strength, but if she didn’t hit the right angle or fully engage her expressions her photos fell completely flat. I think her highs were good enough to possibly keep her in the running a little longer, but at the same time she was too all over the place. Ashley was a solid addition to the Cycle 8 cast, but I think if she had come with more experience and maturity under her belt she could’ve been a force to be reckoned with.
