so with every new character mentioned i’ll release their respective mood board and background summary! as of now there’s only reader, bakugo and mina. i’ve decided to do it in this format so that way when a new character is mentioned you can click on their name and it’ll take you to this page!

reader is a well known underground racer. her father is a well known businessman but he’s corrupt in the sense that he basically runs the illegal racing scene. only close friends know of her father. mother won’t be mentioned. reader has been in the racing scene since 19 when she was detained at a meet by the police. (doesn’t contradict the whole never been caught thing because reader wasn’t racing, she was placing bets which is illegal) father got her out of it bc if he’s corrupt then obviously some of the police are too. her father taught her how to race and she’s been practicing since. she’s a part of a group called Rule 1. it consists of 6 racers, 2 flag girls and 2 mechanics. the group are infamous in the racing scene. they don’t necessarily have enemies or rivals they just stick to their own clique. mina is readers best friend a long with shinsou. readers styling throughout the fic is heavily based on xtina, beyoncé cira 2000, paris hilton in an mv bling type of way & aaliyah.

background: didn’t come from wealth like reader did. he made his money from racing. started actually racing at 23 but before that he was a mechanic. quickly gained attention from other racers and groups. has many offers to join groups but never actually joins. prefers to race alone. little sister w an illness & his mom can’t afford to pay the hospital bills without risking getting evicted. he races for them (and makes more than enough money to take care of them financially. im not sure what his style is yet but leaning towards classy street style ?? looks put together but with baggy clothes. he’s a very cocky person. not in a group but has 3 loyal friends who also race and they’re in a group together (V8 Visions). kirishima and midoriya. both trying to convince him to join but bakugo brushes them off. he’s definitely still loud mouthed and sassy but he’s a little bit calmer. doesn’t yell too too much. he curses way more instead.

background: mina is not a racer. she knows the basics but she can’t imagine herself behind the wheel. she’s a well known and loved flag girl along with scotty (she’s more of a background character so she will not be getting a moodboard). she is one of the 10 members of “Rule 1”. mina grew up with money, even more money than reader. her parents are both wealthy businessmen. they were never really present in her life growing up. it caused her to act out for their attention but all they did was throw money at the problem. due to that she’s a wildcard. extremely cheerful and outgoing. her parents don’t know she’s a member of rule 1. she doesn’t have a significant other BUT kirishima will be her love interest even tho they’re from opposing groups. social butterfly but keeps her clique small. she’s been rule 1’s flag girl since she turned 21. her and reader are inseparable and practically glued to the hip. they’re more like sisters than best friends.
