In this part of the story the jealous general stages a coup, kills his brother the king, steal the throne, captures the queen and slays his bothers heirs… well all but one… I attempt stain glass in the background, depicting the story symbolically wich was a fun experiment

"The royal family" from the handmade book I made during my time at Sva's pre collage program. entitled "The legend of Ashetan: prince of wandering stars". From left to right: the kings jealous brother, general of the kingdoms army and utterly unskilled with magic. Next to the general stands the young prince Ashetan, heir to the throne, though he's only just starting to learn magic. next to the prince stands his father the king who is a powerful magician, but who is to naive to see the danger lurking near. By his side is the queen, a most powerful sorceress some say even more so than the king. Near her the young princess stands, gifted with the ways of animal, gentle and kind. And at the very far right is the young Maran, an elven ranger from the far north woods, a trusted Freind to the royal family, though she visits rarely.

Wisdom of warriors "fall"

The story "the legend of Ashetan prince of wandering stars" continues After the prince enlists the help of Maran the ranger, they travel south through many distant lands to return to Ashetans home so he might reclaim the throne from his tyrant uncle. In the fall arc, Maran and Ashetan find themselves acquainted with an old warrior, who teaches the young prince of patients, mercy, caution, strategy and defense.

The monastery "winter"

The continuation of "the legend of Ashetan prince of wandering stars" After the prince enlists the help of Maran the ranger, they travel south through many distant lands to return to Ashetans home so he might reclaim the throne from his tyrant uncle. In the winter arc Ashetan and Maran find themselves deep in the mountains and come upon a monastery where they are taken in and taught. There they learn of balance, peace, the spirit, and other such things.

"The desert nomads camp" Summer The story "the legend of Ashetan prince of wandering stars" continues After the prince enlists the help of Maran the ranger, they travel south through many distant lands to return to Ashetans home so he might reclaim the throne from his tyrant uncle. In the summer arc after trudging through a thankless Fraser waste, the two are taken in as guests by a roaming band of desert nomads. They show them through the desert, telling wondrous tales, dancing like holy dirvish, singing poems of old, and teaching Ashetan of hard work, leadership and responsibility.

After the prince enlists the help of Maran the ranger, they travel south through many distant lands to return to Ashetans home so he might reclaim the throne from his tyrant uncle. In the spring arc he and Maran find themselves in the garden of sages a place of knowledge, wisdom, secrets, and wonders untold. A sphinx gives them some useful advice, some odd fortunes, and a terrible riddle. (Not all sphinxes are riddle masters you know) Made with @koiwatercolor
