Long story short, I started a blog in 2009/2010 which was mainly focused on the Harry Potter fandom, but after some plagiarism issues I ended up deleting it.

Last year I decided to give tumblr another chance but I didn’t want an username associated to the HP fandom, so I decided to combine some of my other favorite things: Taylor Swift and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Cornelia” comes from the Taylor Swift song Cornelia Street (it is also a type of rose and I love roses) and “Barnes” comes from James “Bucky” Barnes. It was originally meant to be corneliarogers because Steve’s my main guy, but I thought it sounded better as corneliabarnes.

Fun fact: I googled it and there’s actually a person named Cornelia Barnes 🤭

1. Which character do you identify with the most and why? Sansa Stark. I too used to have dreams of princes and ballgowns and fairytale romances, only to be taken advantage of and/or shoved in a box. I still have that idealism though. Manners had great importance in my life, (I even went to ettiquite school for a time). I was also called stupid, because pretty girls can’t be smart for some reason; its hard to be taken seriously. What makes her, her though - and what makes me, me - is her kindness, empathy, and ability to survive on wits and strategy alone. 

2. A character you have an unpopular opinion about, and what is that opinion? I’m not sure if the dark!Dany theory is “popular” yet, but historically it hasn’t been. She’s a character I find endlessly fascinating to dissect and philosophize over. 

3. A character you think is underrated/overrated and why? Pretty much all the female characters are underrated except for fan favorites Arya & Dany. As for overrated: Tyrion. I see his appeal in the show, but I can’t fathom why people like him in the books. He’s horrible. 

4. A very popular theory treated as canon that you have your doubts or don’t like the idea of it? The whole J/n x D//ny “romance”. I honestly believe it’s just a show thing (a poorly executed one at that if some sort of Pol!Jon isn’t included) meant for maximum shock value, angst, and fan service. I think they will meet in the books and there will be some sort of friction, but not romantic. Also that Sansa’s endgame is going to be a beauty and the beast thing (fill in the blank with Tyrion or Sandor). Both men are old, nasty men, and it feels like punishment meant to “humble” her, and that’s why some people want it. 

5. Something done on the show that you strongly wish turns out not to be book canon? J//nerys as a romantic pairing. 

6. What would make you defend your least favorite character? Well in the books that’s Tyrion and in the show that’s Ramsey and honestly nothing could make me defend them, their thoughts, and their actions. 

7. Which are your favorite and least favorite houses and why? The Starks or Targaryens (pre-Dany’s era) are my favorites. The Starks because I love all them and find them the most relatable I suppose, and interesting. And I find the lore of House Targaryen fascinating and detailed and awesome. Least favorites: House Bolton and House Frey. I don’t like them or their history or anybody in them. 

8. A storyline or character you wish GRRM wrote differently? Theon and Robbs. Theon’s arc gets so dehumanizing, and I really like Robb and Jeyne and wanted to see more of them. Like I new he would need to die but also he was my favorite male.

9. Your favorite dynamic between two characters? (romantic or not) Romance wise: Jon and Sansa, esp. in the show. I also liked book Trystan and Myrcella a lot. Arya and Gendry in both, not to forget Ned x Catelyn of course. Platonically: I loved the dynamic between Myrcella x Arianne in the books. In the show I also really like the dynamic between Cersei and Tyrion. In the books AND show I like the dynamic between Sansa and Cersei as well as Marg’s relationship with her family. Last but not least, Sansa and Shae. 

10. If there are new prequels/sequels/spinoffs what would you like them to be about? Anything to do with the Targaryens history. It would be cool also to see their relationship with Dorne. Also the Starks - theres not much info on the members of their family tree besides a few legendary Kings or up to Ned’s parents. I’d love to know more about them.

how did you make it? like is it a repainted one or bits of different pops together or?? i know nothing about pops but i LOVE this

ah thanks! i started with a pop of buttercup from the princess bride then painted over the hair + dress and used sculpey to add some bits like the cloak and braids
