Regarding Ash's released Pokémon in the Poké Beast AU, I can see the following happening:

Butterfree: Breaks out of behavioral school with his new swarm and goes full on folklore cryptid status.

Lapras: Never goes back to the herd after being rejected for the first time; Ash is more important and the baby has tasted blood and taken down a Moltres.

Larvitar: Is too rowdy to stay at the preserve and given back to Ash.

Goodra: Stays with Ash after resolving the conflict in the marshlands but ominously promises to return if anything else happens.

Greninja: Kalos caused the problem, Kalos can fix it. Kalos hurt Ash, so it owes the region no loyalty.

Naganadel: Is usually mistaken as the second coming of Necrozma due to the level of feral.

Nebby: Is waiting for a chance to go supernova on Ash's enemies he really wants his Meema to say yes.

…. I really wanna read a fic where Nebby, once evolved at the alter, just lowers their head and growls at Gladion before allowing the class on his back. Gotta but that boy back in his place.

Wow first contribution to the Pokémon community hello!

This art was pretty self-indulgent. I imagine this happening because of like Professor Oak being like: “So Ash, there’s this like. Pokémon I want you to take a look at, and Gary’s coming with you. Cause… okay now go outside and get along” And then they just go on this trip absolutely hating each other and Gary once again just talking a lot of smack but they have to get along. Spoilers: they don’t at first, I’m sure they will have to work together and understand each other just more.

If ever the Alola team decided to travel with Ash back to Kanto, you can bet the rest of the family try their best to make them as home as possible knowing they had a stable place to live in and not travel

FUCKING HELL I HATE THIS-

Ash living in a grand castle on such a large plot of land so his Pokémon have room to safely sleep in every night and Legendaries can walk in and be comfortable with height and body not breaking anything and he has such a big orchard full of fruit for his Pokémon to snack on and even grow as projects everything is his and everyone else’s and he knows they can be sustained, trained, and happy in a good way while he’s gone on long months travels and know they’ll be okay and so would be their home

Or

Ash living in a one story, dinky, three bedroom, and two and a half bathrooms home out in the wild wild woods of Kanto absolutely fucking THRIVING off the grid where only his friends, family, and certain league members can find him while being an exclusive place for Legendaries to hang out and finally relax for once and he gets to see their silly sides they rarely get to express and he treats them like little kids because he knows the feeling their trying ti explain to him about growing up to soon and his Pokémon also just thriving in the wild as few come into the actual home except on rare occasions and they know non-natives Pokémon to Kanto can’t breed but the Kanto ones can and they bicker about that all the time and Ash shush everyone when they come to eat their dinners together regardless and they even do so when he’s not there and Ash has these little Legendary stone statues in the woods surrounding his little house that you just randomly stumbled upon when hiking and they never stay in the same spot and the Legendaries use those statues as teleportation between their homes and his and they only appear when they do so that means their in the area and either vibing or training with Ash’s stronger then some gods Pokémon and having a blast and-
