Oh look at that, another update done! And it's the last chapter! Technically there's still the epilogue, but this is the end of the story so far. Hope ya'll like it!
---
DELPHIA HAD NEVER KNOWN WHAT HEARTBREAK FELT like. However, as she sat in the underground base of the SSR, she knew that she understood it now. She drifted around the compound like an empty ghost, completely unlike her once bright, bubbly self. Though it was understandable. Steve was gone. She knew that he would have been welcomed in Valhalla for his fighting and courageous death. His sacrifice saved so many people… It just hurt that it had to be him.
After taking the HYDRA base forcibly, the SSR had taken a catalog of the advanced weaponry that HYDRA had created. Either the weapons would be kept under tight lock and key by the allied forces, or they’d use the weapons themselves. It was a bit of a toss up. One that Delphia knew she should be concerned about to an extent, but couldn’t muster up the ability to care.
While she should maybe see about finding the whereabouts of the Tesseract and making sure that it was kept out of the wrong hands. After all, this fight against Schmidt was due to him having the Tesseract and using it for his own greedy, evil plans. Even still, it’s not like she could find it at this moment. It was in the middle of nowhere. A place that Delphia wasn’t even sure that she could go to due to it reminding her of Steve.
All she could do at this point was tell her father about its whereabouts when she returned home. Though there was the fact that she knew the Midgardians kept the Tesseract at least for a bit. Thanks to her visions, she was certain that the tesseract was kept in the hands of the likes of the SSR for a time. How long that was, she wasn’t exactly sure, but she knew it would be for quite a while.
Currently she was cleaning out the room that she had been using to sleep in at the SSR bunkers. After all of this, she knew it was time to return home. It’s been a few days and Delphia has had no new visions to guide her on what to do. Her gut was telling her that it was time to go home now.
“Delphia.”
Delphia glanced over her shoulder to see Peggy was the one coming into her makeshift room, “Hello, Peggy.”
The woman took a look around the nearly completely bare room with a raised eyebrow. “You’re cleaning up in here?”
She shrugged her shoulders, “In a way.”
“Colonel Phillips gave this to me earlier,” Peggy said softly, “he asked me to bring it to you.” She handed Delphia the small photo of Steve. The Steve before the serum, the Steve that Delphia is certain she fell in love with. She didn’t care if he was a scrawny little thing back then, it was his heart that she found the most attractive. Staring at this photo, it just brought tears to her eyes. Seeing how Delphia was becoming upset, Peggy placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. They had become such close friends that Peggy hated seeing her like this. Peggy had been with Delphia through so much during this war, and knew that they needed each other more than ever now. However, Peggy had a feeling that Delphia was going to be leaving her behind now after everything. Pulling Delphia into a side hug as the two stared at that photo, Peggy asked, “What will you do now?”
“Now?” Delphia was quiet for a moment, contemplating what to say. “I have no value to the SSR. No value to this war.”
Peggy shook her head at that statement, “You always have value, Delphia.” She wasn’t going to let Delphia think otherwise. Everyone has value, especially someone like Delphia.
In Delphia’s mind she certainly was thinking the opposite. What more could Delphia provide to the SSR. She could no longer be Abraham’s assistant, she hadn’t been for such a long time. She was the charity case that was kept around because of the kindness to those in the SSR. However, now that Steve was gone, the entire reason that she had been recruited by them in the first place, was gone. Steve had died, and so did a part of Delphia. She shook her head slowly, “Not here. I will go home. I have been away for too long.”
The thought of home almost brought some giddiness to Delphia. She has been quite homesick since she had been brought to Midgard so long ago.
“If you think that’ll be best for you,” Peggy said softly. She understood Delphia’s thought process about this entire thing. After all, she never signed up to be a part of this since she was just a victim of Schmidt for nearly a year. Peggy might not like it completely, but she definitely thought that it was for the best. “I’ll miss you.”
Delphia gave her a small, genuine smile, “I will miss you too, Peggy.”
“After the war, we could meet each other somewhere.” Peggy offered, “Hang out when things are far less chaotic and grim.”
“Perhaps.” She says this, however, she has a strong feeling that it would not happen. As much as she loves Peggy, nearly a sister that she never had, she could not face coming to Midgard again. There was too much pain here now. All Delphia could focus on now was going back home, back to the safety of her family in hopes that they could make her feel better. “I wish you the best of luck in the war.”
“Thank you, I know that we’ll win. Steve’s sacrifice will not be in vain.”
Delphia didn’t stick around long after that. Even the mere mention of his name was going to set her off. So she excused herself from Peggy with one final tight hug that lasted far too short in both of the women's opinions. Delphia made quick work of keeping her goodbye’s short and sweet with her other friends. She kept herself away from people as she tried to find an area to call for her ride home. She did find an empty alleyway, stinky and dark, and away from prying eyes.
“Heimdall!” She shouted out into the sky, “I am ready.”
The clouds in the sky began to circle above her. A blinding light shot down from above, engulfing her completely. With the familiar feeling of the bifrost consuming her, Delphia couldn’t tell if it was a comfort or not. She was returning home, however, with a heavy heart. Despite the turmoil of war and death that Midgard was currently consumed in, Earth had such potential to be a beautiful place. Delphia only wished she had gone to visit Midgard at a different time. Though deep down, she knew that was a lie. If she hadn’t been brought to Midgard she wouldn’t have had the blessing of meeting Abraham, meeting Peggy, meeting Steve, falling in love. Would she give that up if it meant seeing Earth’s potential? No. No, she wouldn’t.
“Sister!” The booming voice of Thor’s echoed all around them just as Delphia arrived. Delphia was quickly swept up in a tight hug of his as her brother rejoiced in her return. She wasn’t even given a moment to collect herself after her journey through the bifrost. Though it wasn’t like she minded, if anything this was more than welcomed.
“Leave her be, Thor. You will crush her with how tight you are hanging onto her.”
“She is not complaining is she? Are you?”
Delphia smiled lightly, “I am fine. I missed you both so much.”
Next up was Delphia’s mother who appeared more than relieved with seeing her in person, “Delphia.” Behind her, Odin also joined in the family reunion though kept his distance slightly. Lest he seem less manly because he decided to rejoice in his daughter’s return.
“Mother. Father,” She sighed through her nose, the sight of her parents brought her even more comfort for a moment. Frigga embraced her daughter tightly, seemingly afraid that Delphia would leave once again.
“We missed you dearly.” Frigga said while inspecting her daughter, looking for injuries or anything of the like, “Things were much more chaotic without you around.”
Delphia laughed, “I can only imagine.” Both her brothers must have been causing quite the ruckus while she was away. Either Loki was playing far too many tricks or Thor was getting into too many fights, or both. It most likely was both.
Her father looked down at her with a stiff posture. His ever knowing eyes pinpointed his daughter with a stern yet soft look. Even if he didn’t really show it, Delphia knew that he was happy with her return. What father wouldn’t be happy to have their daughter back home? She knows he understands her role as a völva demands her to see things that are horrible and that she might have to do things to play along with those visions. However, that doesn’t mean he was completely content with it. He asked her, “Did you finish whatever mission you wished to complete?”
“In a way,” Delphia said softly, “I played my part. There are things in motion that cannot be stopped now.” The future that was coming was not one that she was looking forward to, however, she couldn’t do anything to stop it. The infinity stones would be used for a horrible result, and Delphia just hoped that her loved ones didn’t get too involved in it. Her visions showed her glimpses of the stones, where they are, what they will do until the moment they are assembled. However, she has no idea what the cost will be until that moment happens. She then shrugged her shoulders, “though I do believe that the Midgardians could have the Tesseract once again.”
“Again?” Odin blinked at that.
She shook her head trying to explain it as briefly as she could. “They had the Tesseract for some time and some Midgardians used it for some selfish reasons. It is still somewhere on their planet… But I’m afraid it must stay that way.”
Her father didn’t appear to be happy with the news. After all, he left the Tesseract in what he presumed was safe hands. As much as he wanted to go down there to find the Tesseract and bring it back to his vault, he trusted Delphia’s words. If she says that it must stay on Midgard, then it will stay.
Thor broke the tension that was starting to build with a hearty laugh, “Well, we must celebrate your return! Come now, we are already having a feast prepared for you.”
“Oh, wonderful,” Delphia did her best to appear happy with the announcement. She should have figured that something like this was going to happen. Thor would take any chance he could to have a good party, and her return is a perfect excuse for it. Though she really just wanted to be alone…
Her discouraged aura didn’t go unnoticed. As Thor headed off to lead the family back to the palace with his parents following, Loki made sure to walk right next to Delphia. He leaned down and lightly asked, “Is all well, sister?”
“Hm?” Delphia blinked at him in confusion, “Yes, yes of course.”
Loki eyed her skeptically, “Do you think I would believe that? As the god of lies, I can easily spot the lies of others. Especially my sister.” It wasn’t normal for Delphia to lie, especially to her brothers or parents. Though it was worrying for Loki to see how Delphia appeared to be uneasy about something. The last thing that he had wanted to see was his baby sister being bothered by something. He’s sure that it was something that happened on Midgard, and he really wanted to know what it was.
Growing uncomfortable, Delphia turned herself away from him, “I do not want to talk about it, Loki.”
While her brother left her alone after that, Delphia could feel the concerned look he was burning her with. At the moment, she was not going to talk to anyone about what had happened while she was on Midgard. When her father asks for details about the Tesseract or anything else he deems necessary to know. Though it wasn’t like she was going to tell him about her… relationships while on Midgard. As far as they needed to know, she had allies on Midgard who helped her, made sure she was safe, and could be trusted. She didn’t want to talk about Steve. It just hurt too much.
They traveled back to the palace and started to get right to the celebration. There were so many people who had joined in on the celebratory feast. All of Asgard seemed relieved and ecstatic with the princess’ return home. After all, they were always told how precious she is as one of the last pure völva in Asgard so she was always kept under a watchful eye. Not many Asgardians were glad to hear about Delphia traveling away. She is the darling of the kingdom, no one ever wishes ill on her, ever.
There were a plethora of people who had come to the feast. It seemed like the entire kingdom had come to see the return of the princess. They all cheered and celebrated when she was presented by her father, healthy and seemingly happy. The usual golden glow that surrounded Delphia was dimmed slightly, but people were too excited by the festivities to really question it.
Currently, with a belly full of some of her favorite foods, Delphia sat around a golden table with Sif and the warriors three. They had greeted her loudly once they spotted her. They retold her all the stories about the adventures that they had gone on through laughter and exaggerated gestures. Delphia could never tell if some of it was actually true or not. It was quite amusing to see them retell them. Volstagg told of all the wonderful violence he got to partake in and the feasts that she missed out on. Fandral did his best to try and impress Delphia with his own retellings, as he had plenty to catch up on when trying to woo the princess. Hogun was more or less quiet while watching his friends talk, inputting his own tidbits of story from time to time. Sif was more or less the same, but just as excited to tell Delphia about what she had missed out on. It was safe to say that Delphia could feel just how much her friends missed her, which she hoped that they could feel how much he actually missed them. Even if Delphia wasn’t completely mentally okay.
“Now, tell us,” Volstagg started to say with his mouth full of food, “what is Midgard like nowadays.”
It took Delphia a moment to focus on the question pointed at her, “Oh, currently, they are at war.”
All her friends leaned forward at the interesting statement, Sif blinked, “At war? With who?”
“Themselves.”
Fandral pursed his lips, “Huh, interesting.”
Loki blinked at her from over his goblet of wine, “I hope that you did not join in on this war!”
She shrugged her shoulders sheepishly, “When war is everywhere, you cannot really avoid it.”
“Did you fight?” Sif asked eagerly, “How was it?”
“I did not fight, at least, not like I would have wanted.”
“How disappointing,” Hogun shook his head. He knew just like the others that Delphia was a skilled fighter, even if she was kept off the battlefield ever since her visions became rampant.
Delphia nodded her head slowly, “yes, I suppose.”
Fandral leaned forward, “You must have made allies while down there, correct?”
“What are the Midgardians like?” Volstagg asked, “Strong warriors? Cowards?”
Delphia was silent for a moment as a far away look clouded her eyes. The reminder of those who she left behind on Midgard, who was lost during her time there, grabbed her heart tightly. “T-the ones I met, they were strong.” She swallowed thickly before whispering, “Very strong.”
It didn’t seem like they caught on to the sudden depression that took her over. Perhaps that was because she was able to hide it real well, or they were too caught up in the festivities around them. Either way, no one commented on how she seemed to retract into herself. “Well, I am glad that my sister was kept safe by such warriors!” Thor chortiled loudly, “I would one day like to meet these Midgardians worthy of Delphia’s presence.” After that, Delphia didn’t divulge much of her time on Midgard to them. She just kept to herself and let them enjoy the feast.
By the time the feast was well on its way of being over, Delphia was able to escape to her bedroom. While Thor, Sif and the warriors three had wanted to keep Delphia longer and begin an after party, Delphia declined. Loki seemed to be the only one that was concerned with how unenthusiastic Delphia appeared to be tonight. He had thought that after being away for so long, Delphia wouldn’t want to part from either him, Thor or those warrior buffoons for too long. Loki had assumed that Delphia would celebrate all night long! Even so, Delphia escapes the party to get upstairs. She even told the guards stationed outside her chambers to leave her alone for a while. It took a bit, but her sweet words and encouragement for them to grab a drink from what remained of the feast convinced them.
So now she stood in her bedroom, the only light illuminating the room were from the small candles by her bed and the moon shining through the large window. One thing that was a big comfort was finally getting to be in her own room again, to sleep in her own bed, to see the beautiful view from her window. Which is what she was staring out of once she changed into some night clothes. Her people were down there happy and excited about what the next day would bring, but Delphia was completely the opposite. Tomorrow was going to be just as bad as today, and yesterday. Everyday will be just as horrible. With the knowledge of Steve’s life being taken so terribly, Delphia wasn’t sure when any day would feel normal again.
As she gazed at her kingdom, Delphia wondered what Steve would think of her home. What would he think of her not being a Midgardian. Would he have felt betrayed that she didn’t share that part of her? Be scared of her for not being a Human? Shunned her away for lying? Use her to his advantage like Schmidt? No. He wouldn’t do that, she was certain. Steve Rogers was nowhere near a man like Schmidt was. Though she couldn’t be certain that he would just accept who she was. Delphia wished she had the opportunity to have told him the truth.
Her mind then wandered to everything that she had endured on Midgard. Delphia had to question what was the point. She understood the vision she first saw of herself on Earth, but now she returns home empty handed. Was the reason that she was given the visions of herself on Midgard during that war was to get the Tesseract and bring it home? Well, she wasn’t sure. Though she also didn’t care. Not only that but she knows that she returns to Midgard sometime in the future. The reason was also concerning the Tesseract, so it seemed like her purpose being on Midgard during their war was not to retrieve the Tesseract. At this point, she could do nothing but yearn to shut herself into her room. She wants to be alone. Though it seemed she would have to wait for that.
The door to her bedroom suddenly creaked open, startling the princess as she jumped to see who had come in. It was Frigga, dressed in her beautiful golden gown and red hair in a fashionable braid. The queen came over to join her daughter at the window that Delphia focused on once more. “Heading to bed already?”
“Yes, the journey home and the feast has tired me out.” Delphia said softly, not willing to look at her mother lest she see straight through her. She felt dirty having to lie to her mother like this. While she was a bit tired from the long day, that wasn’t the main reason she had escaped to her chambers.
That didn’t seem to work as Frigga said, “I noticed something ever since you have returned home.” Her statement caused Delphia to freeze. Of course, her mother noticed something. Both Loki and their mother were observant people and Delphia could never really hide too much from them. No matter how much she would try. “You are not well,” Frigga said matter of factly, “I can tell. Your eyes are vacant and near lifeless.”
“Mother…” Before Delphia could protest further, her mother grabbed both of her hands in her own.
“I can recognize the look of heartache, you lost someone while on Midgard.” The way that Frigga was able to recognize Delphia’s plight nearly caused Delphia to sob. The reminder of one of the life of Abraham that was taken from right in front of her eyes haunted her. The reminder of Steve’s sacrifice caused her heart to sink even further. Seeing the young woman starting to grow upset, Frigga hushed her quickly, “You do not have to tell me about it. Though know that I will be here if you wish to.”
Delphia stared at her mother for a long moment as tears collected in her eyes. She loves that her mother knew her better than anyone. Perhaps that was due to her magic or her maternal instinct, but Delphia appreciated it no matter what it was. She wasn’t ready just yet to open up to anyone about what had happened on Midgard. Perhaps she would retell bits and pieces that were insignificant. However, no one would know about Steve, not yet anyway.
Delphia missed Steve, she will always miss him. It was an idea that she knew she would have to face at some point due to their large difference in life expectancy. However, it was more heartbreaking since he was taken far too soon in a horrendous way. Even if Delphia knew that she couldn’t spend the rest of her life with him, she wanted to know that he had a good long life on Midgard, not having to give it up due to one man’s selfishness and greed.
Though there was as dark thought in the back of her mind. A voice plaguing her with doubts of herself. There was one thing that she could have done. She could have used her magic to save Steve. How she would save him while he was on a plane miles and miles away from her, she couldn’t completely explain it. She would blame herself, she knew that. It would take years, centuries before Delphia came to terms with it. Who knew when she would be herself again.
So she let herself sob. Sobbing into her mother’s shoulder once Frigga brought her in for a tight hug. The queen might not know what had happened to Delphia to cause her to become like this, but she would let her have time to tell her. Frigga knew not to push Delphia on this, lest she close everyone out permanently. Frigga just hoped that her daughter would not be completely lost in her grief.
As time passed, Midgard changed over the decades. It wasn’t until it was 2011 that Steve Rogers, Captain America, stood in New York City once again. Disoriented, confused, and on edge, Steve stared around at the foreign yet somehow familiar surroundings. The vibrant, colorful billboards that greeted him were by no means anything that he had seen before. The New York that he is used to was not the same, nor anything that he had ever seen before. Even when he is told by the eye-patch wearing Nick Fury about the fact he’s been asleep for seventy years, he’s not entirely upset about it. He’s more upset by the fact that he had left someone behind, someone he loved.

Fractured
Prince! Loki x Asgardian reader
18+ | contains some smut. This was so random I know but I had a lil idea and wanted to see where it went.
You were one of the first told of Loki’s arrival back to Asgard and his arrival in the palace. Unaware of where Frigga had sent him, you made your way to his chambers before preparing him a bath, wanting him to be able to relax. You didn’t know what condition he was in or what state of mind. Word of him looking worse for wear spread around the palace like wildfire before you heard the door of his chambers opening and managed to see for yourself how he looked.
“Loki.” You greeted as you took him in. You couldn’t help but smile at his valiant form; it had been a while since you had seen him dressed like that. “I have prepared your bath.”
“Join me.” He insisted, making his way through to the next room where his bath was waiting. You followed after him, your brow furrowed in slight confusion as you tried to gauge his state.
“Loki?” You began, looking away slightly as he quickly undressed.
“If you wish to leave, you can leave” he dismissed, stepping into the bath “although take note, my heart grows ever fonder in your presence.” He smiled, eyeing you almost hungrily.
Taking a deep breath, you undressed for him, reveling in the feeling of his powerful gaze on you as you exposed yourself to him. Everytime his eyes were set on your body, it felt like the first time. Once you were naked, you grabbed a rag before stepping into the bath. Soaking the rag, you gestured for Loki to come towards you as you pointed to the gash on his forehead. Coyly, he shook his head no leaving you huffing as you moved closer to him before reaching up and dabbing away at the dried blood. You leant over him, your bodies touching as you reached above his brow. You couldn’t help the small smile that played on your lips as Loki took the opportunity to kiss down from your neck to the swell of your breasts. You couldn’t deny how much you had missed him, how much you had missed simple moments like these ones where you could just be content with one another, the times where you found solace in his presence.
“I have missed you.” You hummed, eyes closed as he took one of your erect nipples into his mouth.
“Don’t fret for I am right here.” He answered, releasing it with a pop before pressing a loving kiss against your lips.
“Do you want me to wash your hair?” You offered, opening your eyes.
“Let me wash yours,” he answered, “turn around.” He smiled. Turning around, you settled between his open legs, allowing yourself to rest backwards against his chest.
“Someone really has missed me.” You giggled feeling his hardening length nudging your back.
“Ignore him.” Loki chuckled, reaching for a bottle of shampoo before squeezing some into his hands and massaging your scalp.
“That feels so good.” You spoke, melting against him, your husband, as his skillful fingers worked through your hair. Cupping some water, he washed it out of your hair as you remained relaxed against him. Eventually, one of his hands left your hair before running down your back and snaking around your body where it trailed down your stomach. Instinctively, you opened your legs, eagerly awaiting his touch before his name fell breathily from your lips.
“Just stay relaxed for me.” Loki spoke in your ear, placing a kiss just below it as his other hand cupped your breast, kneading it as his finger traced your clit.
“Loki.” You mewled softly again, your back arching away from him as you threw your shoulders back.
“Relax.” He whispered, licking the shell of your ear as he applied more pressure to your clit, circling it fast as your hips moved on their own accord. The water around you both sloshed against the sides of the bath, almost spilling out as Loki lightly pinched one of your nipples, two of his fingers working against the bundle of nerves concealed between your legs.
“Norns Lokii.” You sighed contently, feeling that familiar warmth spread through your body.
“Let go.” He commanded, rubbing fast circles on your clit before you came with a quiet call of his name. It had escaped you how much you truly had missed him, even in his presence.
Eventually, the two of you got out of the bath, Loki helping you out as your shaky legs threatened to give way beneath you. You made your ways back to his bedroom where you dried off in comfortable silence.
“You know when I was out there, I thought about you, I prayed to you.” Loki spoke as he dried the ends of his hair.
“What?” You answered, slightly confused as he stepped towards you, his cock heavy between his thighs.
“You are my strength” he smiled fondly, looking into your eyes as you looked into his with an almost sadness “like the—” he began, running his hand against your cheek before he noticed you shy away from his touch. You didn’t mean it, it just happened. There were moments like these ones, when you’d piece together where he had been, where he had been sent and it felt like a million tiny daggers piercing your heart at the same time. “What’s the matter?” He questioned, concerned.
“Nothing” you lied “nothing's the matter.” You smiled, reaching up to kiss him. Loki kissed you back, his arms wrapping around your body as he held you. The kiss grew more feverish, both of you getting onto the bed before Loki was lining himself up with your entrance and thrusting inside. Your hand moved up and down his bare back as he fucked you. You tried to settle your mind, to enjoy this rare encounter but you could only think about the repercussions of this meeting. You’d feel good now, you’d share a bed now and then you’d be heartbroken again. A stray tear fell from your eye as you closed them, focusing on now. You felt Loki’s tongue against your cheek, licking it away, making everything better.
“As I slayed men where they stood, I thought only of you” he mused, thrusting harder as you bucked your hips up into his, his words the million tiny daggers “I slaughtered them in their droves y/n.” He reminisced, moving faster.
“Loki.” You said, the word coming out as something between a moan and an attempt at interrupting his ramblings.
“You should have seen me, you’d have been proud” he grinned, slowing his thrusts as his cock moved through your folds leisurely “I was valiant y/n, a king.”
He quickened his pace again, his head falling into the crook of your neck as he fucked you into the mattress, your body pleasured but your mind troubled.
“I watched the life d-drain from their eyes and yet my—my mind still conjured images of you” he grunted against your ear, thrusts growing sloppy “my q-queen.”
“Cum Loki.” You spoke into his ear, your hand holding the back of his head as you commanded him like he had done you earlier. You couldn’t take it anymore, it was too much. You moved your head to the side as he kissed your neck, sucking against it as he came, breaths heavy. You comforted him through his high, kissing him before you insisted he was tired and needed rest. He was more susceptible now, whatever charms placed on him wearing off as he fell asleep.
Once you were sure his breaths had evened out, you left the bed, securing a robe around yourself as you made your way to Frigga's rooms. Knocking, you awaited her greeting before entering.
“He is unwell” you stated, eyes full of worry “where did you send him?”
“I—” she began before you interrupted.
“He still speaks of war, he still lays with me as one would a wife.”
“Y/n.” She tried to relax you.
“War is what ruined him in the first place.” You protested. “How could you?”
“The war is in his mind y/n, he isn’t in danger, he finds peace when I transport his mind there.” She tried to reason.
“He was bleeding when he came back.”
“Merely for theatrics.” She dismissed.
“So what do I do? Continue playing the doting wife until he’s lucid again and remembers we’re severed?”
“You love him y/n.” Frigga countered.
“But he doesn’t love me and it breaks me every time the old him shines through.”
“You vowed you’d help nurse him back to health y/n, all I ask of you is your love for him.”
So like the real battle is his fractured mind? On reread/edit, I’m not sure what this is at all 💀

Sigrid grew up lonely. She had no siblings, and she always had a harder time than others her age when it came to making friends. Her school was small, she went to a small private school in Asgard, one reserved for those in families of higher power. Her father was high ranking in Asgard's army, practically Odin's right hand man. It was no surprise to anyone when she was placed in her school.
She excelled in school, constantly awing her instructors with her mind, always one step ahead than the rest in her class. But when it came to magic, she was weak. Sigrid was diagnosed with a condition called POTS at the age of five. Because of this, her body has never been strong enough to fully support the magic she wished she had.
Loki and her met when she was in her second year of school, and he was in his fourth. She was seven and he was nine. They met in the library, her face was nose deep in a book that he wanted to read, and instead of telling him, the weird prince, to go away like everyone else, she offered that they read it together. They've been inseparable ever since.
When they got to middle school, they were both there to experience each others first crushes, so they decided to help each other out and be each others first kiss. Just for practice. Loki wanted to be able to tell Thor he had also kissed a girl.
From then on, they were there for each other when one another got their heart broken. They exchanged books, Loki helped Sigrid with her magic, and they made each other feel less lonely. Loki had always felt like an outcast, and Sigrid had always been lonely. They filled that gap for one another.
However, after high school, Loki discovered his true parentage, thus sparking a downward spiral for him, taking everyone else with him. His mind had never been so dark and cold, so vulnerable. Sigrid was there for him, and she was just what he needed, a shoulder to cry on. Loki felt everyone else around him had begun to push him away, afraid of the monster he truly was. But not Sigrid. Never Sigrid.
But this revelation left his mind vulnerable enough for dark forced to enter it, and enter it they did.
It took too much convincing, and too many analysis' of Loki for Odin to finally believe that he had been under the influence of a dark force when he attacked New York. Loki felt it was pointless to fight the old man on it, but Thor and Sigrid had insisted.
Loki was under the influence of Thanos, and while under that spell, he had killed many innocent people and destroyed lots of the city. No one on Earth would ever comfortably welcome him back, but the people of Asgard would have to learn to. Loki knew he was seen as even more of a monster now, and that fact pushed him deeper into his darkness than he had been before.
While not under the influence of Thanos, Loki was still broken. He was dealing with the guilt of what he had done, and the realization that he would forever be seen as a monster was at the forefront of his mind. In a fight against the Dark Elves, Loki had faked his death. His mother, Frigga had been killed, and Loki was the most heartbroken he had ever been. Sigrid was devastated when Thor came back and said Loki was gone. The grief she had felt during that time was insufferable.
She drowned in her sadness everyday, and her magic had never been weaker. She fainted more often than normal, her POTS getting worse, and it was during this time that she discovered she loved Loki. She always had loved Loki. But this was the most real thing she had ever felt, and she couldn't do anything with it, because he was gone.
But then he came back one day, a couple months later, and Sigrid swears she's never been so angry in her life. He apologized profusely to her, claiming he needed to get away to stop hurting the people around him, but she didn't care. He left her, and they had promised to never leave each other. He knew she'd mourn him. She called him selfish, and the two didn't speak for another two weeks.
The first time they spoke after that, he told her he loved her. She told him she loved him. He promised he'd never leave her again.
The rest is history.
A year later, the two got married, a wedding that some supported and some did not. Many people still thought Loki was a monster and that he would never change. But those who really knew him knew that wasn't the case.
Their marriage was filled with such joy and happiness for the both of them. They brought out the best in one another, and Sigrid helped people see that Loki wasn't the monster they all thought he was. Sigrid had never been happier, and it was quite obvious to everyone. The girls who used to tease her in school now bowed down to her as their princess, and the boys that bullied her now wished they had her.
And Loki. Sigrid thought Loki looked better the older he got. When his hair reached his shoulders, she was a goner. He was so handsome, and it seemed that the rest of the kingdom had started to notice too. Palace workers would tell him it was "alright if he needed a break from his wife," and shoot a wink his way. Sigrid would have to excuse herself to simmer off, but Loki would remind her just how devoted he was to her every night.
After a couple years of being married, Sigrid found out she was pregnant. She had kept waking up sick, and sure enough, it's because she was expecting. Loki had been overjoyed, terrified, but overjoyed. Sigrid didn't think she could love her husband more, but the promise of him being a father left a flutter in her stomach she didn't know she could have.
They had already begun prepping their nursery, keeping it as gender neutral as possible, as they wouldn't discover the babies gender until they were born. Sigrid found a new hobby in making her old baby clothes, and Loki would hold her belly and sing to her every night. She was living in a bubble of bliss.
But every bubble pops at some point.
Thor and Loki had heard about the threat of Ragnarok, and at first Sigrid didn't believe in it, but then Loki and Thor returned from a place called Sakaar and informed her that it was very real, and definitely going to happen. While they were in Sakaar, their sister Hela, whom none of them knew about, had totally taken over Asgard, and had even kept Sigrid hostage in the castle. Sigrid was surprised Hela didn't kill her, but she also knew she was being used as leverage to get the princes back to Asgard.
Those few days where she was under Hela's control in Asgard were Sigrid's own personal hell, literally. She was paraded around like a prize, dangling over the Asgardian's heads. Heimdall came to her rescue, sneaking in one night and taking her with him, where they sought safety with the other Asgardian's.
The next day, Thor came back with Banner and Valkyrie, and Sigrid started to worry when Loki wasn't with them. Especially since Hela's army of the dead and her massive dog, Fenrir, were surrounding them on the bridge. But Loki did show up, he showed up on a massive ship, and suddenly everything was better.
Sigrid rushed to give him a hug, but he urgently rushed her on the ship, not willing to risk hers and their babies life. Sigrid watched from inside with hundreds of Asgardians as her husband, Thor, and Valkyrie all defeated Hela and Asgard burned to the ground. It was a bittersweet feeling, watching home collapse but also knowing everyone was safe.
Sigrid thought the chaos was over there, finally feeling relieved that they were finally en route to somewhere to rebuild. She was already thinking about her new home wit Loki, what the new nursery would look like. They settled on Earth, but as they were on the way there, they came across an enemy ship.
Sigrid begged and begged Loki not to go check it out with everyone else, but he insisted. She then begged to come with him, but he refused. Any other time he would've loved her companionship, but carrying their child was not something he was willing to put on the line.
Sigrid cried to him to not go, she had a horrible feeling, but he insisted he had to for the good of their people. They told each other they loved each other and kissed goodbye, and he promised he'd be right back.
He promised he'd be right back.
But Loki didn't come back. Loki never came back. Thor came back a different man, and all he could utter was that Loki was gone. Sigrid felt a type of pain she hadn't ever felt in her life. Even when she thought Loki was dead the first time, it had never felt this way. She thinks it's because a part of her always knew he was never dead, but she knew this was real. Even as she screamed at Thor and told him he was faking it, she knew it was real.
While Thor and Loki were confronting Thanos in the first place, several of Thanos' "children," as he called them, killed hundreds of Asgardian's, and only about a hundred made it out alive.
Thor had found them in Norway, and he came with Loki's body. Sigrid had shook her husband and wailed at him to wake up, to stop playing tricks. It wasn't funny. This wasn't the time to joke.
But it was no joke.
A few short months later, Sigrid gave birth to their daughter without him. Sigrid took one look at their daughter and decided to name her Frigga, after Loki's mother whom he loved dearly.
Frigga became the light in Sigrid's life that she had been missing, though she wished more than anything that Loki was there with her. She found him everywhere; in the wind and the way it put a breeze in her hair, in the green hue of the mountains surrounding their new home, New Asgard as they called it, and in the rain, Loki's favorite weather.
Sigrid found her days spent distracting herself with baking. She decided, not long after she had Frigga, to open a bakery in town, just a couple blocks from her home. Thor decided to live with her and Frigga, offering support that Sigrid was endlessly grateful for.
She, and the rest of her people, picked her life back up piece by piece. Her bakery flourished, Frigga was happy, and she slowly started to properly mourn her husband, taking forever to fully accept that he was gone. She visited his grave everyday and talked to him, it brought her peace. Once Frigga was old enough to understand, she brought her with her.
Frigga knew her father to be a hero. Her uncle and her mother did a great job painting that picture for her, and she went to school and bragged about him. Frigga inherited everything about him. She had his long, black hair and piercing blue eyes, and, much to her mothers awe and dismay, his magic.
The first sign she had Loki's magic was when she could turn inanimate objects into snakes. Sigrid had screamed, and then laughed, thrilled that her daughter had her father's magic touch. Now, at age eight, she was able to shape-shift into small animals herself. She could also make herself invisible, manipulate other objects, and read peoples memories with the touch of her hand on their head. Just like her father.
Frigga followed her mother to the bakery everyday that she didn't have school. She had become quite the baker herself, and Sigrid loved having her help.
Today was no different, it was a Friday and Frigga had run to her mothers bakery as soon as she got out of school. Sigrid let her bake some brownies before starting on her homework, and then it was homework before she could help again.
Sigrid had spent the day making various cakes before her daughter had come. Now that she had sent Frigga off to her designated desk in the back to do homework, she was going to start on some lemon bars. The store had been running slow today, and with no customer in sight she had decided to make some treats to pass the time.
She was really feeling pop music recently, and had it blasting through the store as she worked, powder fresh on her face. She was singing along to the newest song on her shuffle when she realized she needed more sugar, running to fetch some from the back.
While she was back there she made sure Frigga was on track with her homework, receiving an annoyed scoff from her daughter. She just rolled her eyes and lightly tapped her on the head before moving back out to her baking table.
She heard the bell ring on her front door, signaling customers, and she hollered at them that she'd be right out. She was almost finished cutting up another lemon, when she heard them start to talk. She could make out three separate voices, a woman with an accent, a man with no accent who mentioned key lime pie, and finally...
Sigrid stopped her motions all together, almost cutting herself with her knife. That third voice was one she hadn't heard in almost nine years, but one that she could surely recognize in a crowd of millions. It was deep, sultry, and had a thick accent. It was the voice she had fallen utterly in love with. And as if no time had passed between the last time she heard that voice and now, it carried her towards it like a magnet.
She scrambled to reach the front of the shop, her skin feeling icy hot and her heart hammering in her chest. She reached the front counter and her throat went dry. When was the last time she had a POTS spell?
As she looked up she was gasping for air, and her vision was going blurry. But she'd recognize those eyes, that hair, anywhere. She felt a tear roll down her face.
"Loki?"
She fainted.

Summary: Lady Hilda didn't always have the best ideas, but slapping Prince Loki was, without a doubt, the worst of her choices. Or the best.

Lady Hilda didn't always have the best ideas, but slapping Prince Loki was, without a doubt, the worst of her choices.
Or the best.
The crack produced by the blow echoed in the air, filling the golden hall. The few maids who passed by the place widened their eyes, stunned, paralyzed between one step and the next. Hitting a prince was bad enough, but hitting the god of trickery was infinitely worse.
Loki, taken by surprise, felt the impact. His head turned slightly with the force of the blow, but he quickly turned back to face Hilda, his eyes shining with a mixture of surprise and something that could almost be admiration. And then, at the corner of his lips, a smile appeared. Not a sneer, but something more complex — an acknowledgment of her strength and courage.
He slowly raised his hand, touching the cheek where the slap had left its mark. Loki's smile was subtle, but it carried a universe of emotions: irony, pain, and a kind of reluctant respect. His jade-green eyes fixed on hers, and for a moment, it was as if the full weight of her actions and choices passed between them without words.
"Well, that was... intense," he murmured, his voice silky and full of dark humor.
Hilda, breathless and surprised by her own audacity, stared at the prince. Her eyes gleaming with fury.
"I suppose I deserve an explanation," he added.
"And Lady Liv deserved respect," she shouted, her chin raised. "You were cruel and mean, no one deserves to be treated with such..."
Loki, with furrowed brows, interrupted her. "Who is Liv?"
Hilda, who thought she had reached the peak of irritation, bubbled with anger.
"Lady Liv is a young maiden who made the mistake of falling for the prince.” She said through gritted teeth. “But it's all just a joke to you, isn't it? Always having fun at the expense of others, you didn't think twice before hurting her feelings!”
“Ah, that Liv,” he gestured dismissively. “A wretched creature, without a trace of fun or grace. A waste of time. I'm afraid I haven't found another efficient way to discourage her advances.”
“Oh, you…!”
Hilda raised her arm, her open hand ready to meet his face. But before she could slap him, Loki grabbed her wrist firmly, pulling her roughly until the distance between them was drastically reduced. Enraged, she raised her other hand only for him to immobilize her, pinning her arms behind her back.
It was easy to forget that the studious and mischievous Prince Loki was as strong as his brother. Under his steely grip, Hilda felt small and subdued.
The prince's fingers closed on her jaw, forcing her to look up. A wicked smile curved his lips, certainly enjoying the situation.
"You can't catch me off guard twice," he said, his tone dangerously low.
"Let me go!" she demanded, writhing wildly until he grabbed her with more force, crushing her against his hard, warm chest. "Let me go right now... oh, oh... you terrible..." Sighing, Hilda stopped resisting, her face flushed with effort.
“Isn’t it easier this way?” he asked sweetly, leaning in until everything that separated their faces was just a breath away. “Surrender is part of your nature, after all. Haven’t you ever been taught to kneel before your sovereign?”
Hilda had never been so close to the prince. His presence confused her senses and made her weave foolish ideas. An aura of power surrounded him, chaotic and effervescent. Overwhelming. It made her knees weak.
“You are not a king,” she hissed, needing great concentration to put together consonants and vowels that made sense.
Surprise sparked in her green eyes, but as quickly as it appeared, it disappeared.
“I am Loki of Asgard, and I am charged with a great purpose.” The fingers on her jaw ran down the side of her neck, the prince's gaze fixed on her mouth. “And you could be by my side… or, even better,” he began, opening a devilish smile. “On or under me.”
Surprise was stamped on Hilda's face at that insinuation. Images appeared in her mind before she could contain themselves. Of Loki above her, kissing and caressing her, stealing her breath, claiming her until every inch of her knew who belonged to him. That wicked mouth would make her desire unspeakable things, make her forget her own name. She would beg for more. And then he would touch her, leaving a trail of fire wherever his fingers passed, marking her so deeply that it would leave a mark on her soul.
“Oh, you can imagine, can't you?” He questioned, pouring the words into her ear “I would make you feel so good, Hilda.”
With her face burning, she tried feebly to free herself, all too aware of how hard his body was in all the places where hers was soft. Without strength, she pressed her face against his shoulder, feeling a terrible discomfort in her belly. It was as if the blood in her veins had been replaced by liquid fire.
“Let me go,” she asked, her voice trembling like a candle flame.
“Is that what you want?” She shivered as she felt his touch on the back of her neck, his fingers tangled in her hair. “I don’t think so. In fact, I would say it’s the opposite.” Hilda almost tripped over her own feet when he pushed her back, making her take a step back, then another, and another until her back hit the wall. The impact knocked the air from her lungs. Loki pinned her wrists to the sides of her head, leaning toward her, rolling his lips languidly along her jaw.
“Tell me to stop,” he demanded, nibbling on the soft skin of her neck. “Tell me.”
I can’t, she thought. Feeling weak and feverish, Hilda sighed as she felt his lips touch her neck. A growl scratched the prince's throat before he finally decided to end her torment, kissing her impetuously. His mouth was soft and cruel, there was no gentleness when he moved his lips, invading her mouth, teasing her with his tongue until she moaned. With her eyes closed, Hilda leaned against the prince's chest, intoxicated by his scent, trying at all costs to get closer. When the lack of air made her lungs burn, Loki destined wet kisses on her neck and lap, venturing to the edge of her dress's neckline before returning to her neck.
"Let me touch you," he begged, gasping as his teeth dug into her skin. When he didn't let go of her wrists, she whimpered, "P-please... oh, I need to touch you."
She could feel his smile pressed against her skin. Slowly, he released her, lifting her face until their eyes met. The backs of his fingers brushed against her cheek gently, encouraging her.
"Good girl." From the tone of his voice, the meaning of his words was anything but chaste. But Hilda didn't think about them for long, because soon his lips moved against hers again.
Hilda opened her eyes, feeling her knees tremble and a terrible discomfort between her legs. For a foolish moment, breathing became an impossible task. She was not pressed between the wall and the prince, he was not even close to her. A meter away, Loki stared at her with orbs shining with malice, although his jaw was clenched. Perfectly composed, and of course, with his hands stupidly far from her. "Is that what you've been thinking about, Lady Hilda?" He clicked his tongue, shaking his head negatively. "I didn't know you had so much interest in me, in my lips and my fingers." An illusion. It had all been nothing more than a damned illusion. A punch in the stomach would have left her less disoriented. She didn't know to what extent he had influenced her mind. And she didn't know to what extent she wished that had actually happened. That thought haunted her, making her take a step back.
“You scoundrel, don’t come near me!”
“But isn’t that what you want?” Loki stepped forward, his gaze darkened. “You need to make up your mind, sweet Hilda. Don’t you want me to have you? It seemed to me that was what you wanted while I fucked you with my fingers.”
“Stop!” she shouted, feeling her eyes burn with humiliation.
“No, don’t cry.” He got close enough to hold her face, keeping it locked when she tried to pull back. “Do you know what the best part is?” his voice sweet as poison. “The illusion was mine, but you were the one in control of your decisions. You desired those things, Hilda. You.”
A lump seemed to have lodged in her throat. Cursed was the moment she decided to take Lady Liv’s pains. With the prince’s hands still on her face, she forced herself to hold his gaze.
“My prince, if I desired it, I was also desired.” I imagine it must be hard to deal with your brother's leftovers.
“Oh, what a sharp tongue!” He smiled, indifferent to the provocation. “I can imagine what she's capable of.”
“Let me go.”
“As you wish.” He finally let her go, taking a step back before looking her up and down, giving her a condescending smile. “Do you know what the best way to get rid of temptation is, Hilda? It's by giving in to it.”

Warnings: Alot of angst <3, somebody kissed but im not saying who, mentions of blood, injury,
Summary: After your Lokis death and have moved on and joined the Avengers. After the aftermath of Endgame you and the other remaining Avengers all seek shelter in the new Avengers Warehouse Pepper Potts bought as a temporary replacement while the Avengers mansion is being renovated. What happened after a very tired mission. Well, you're speechless, to say the least.
a/n: I added a few more chapters because you know dreams lmao so enjoy this one !! Tell me if yall want smut soon. CuZ ye im feeling a smut scene some time soon.
You walked around the Avengers warehouse and got to the medic bay. The push the doors open, "How are her vitals."
"Well for one thin they don't make any sense."
"Ive been trying to heal her but, I can't get a signature on the dark magic... I need your magic to track it." Wanda says as her hands float above the blonde girl.
"She really does look like Loki its scary.... Like put a blonde wig make her shorter and put some eyelashes boom you got blondie here."
You rolled your eyes as your eyes traveled towards Ivars dark matter dagger. A strong dark force gutted your stomach, you could feel the evil from a mile away. You saw the veins around the stab wound as they turned black and spreaded around her stomach.
The only thing that could kill an Asgardian God. With its rusted blade and messily bandanged handle. Just as the myths say, the dagger was made for Odin the allfather but Ivar and his dagger were defetead and casted away before he could use it on him.
You closed your eyes and took a deep breathe to cast a simple healing spell.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Alright, enchantments are more than just casting especially when your doing a healing spell." Loki circled around you. You closed your book as you groaned, bored of slow paced lessons set by the prince.
"A healing spell I think we can do something more challenging than that Loki."
Loki stopped in his steps as he brought out his dagger and striked your leg.
"LOKI... AARGH.... YOU MISBIGOTTEN SON OF A LEPPERS GOAT. YOU DAFT ARSE" YOU SCREAMED AT HIM. He chuckled and tipped your chin to look at him with the bloodied dagger.
"Careful, if we go on legal terms thats treason against the prince and queen..." He grinned. "On more serious terms you need to learn how to cast the spell on yourself, this way casting it on others will come naturally."
You tried to hold the cut on your thigh, blood was seeping out continously as you winced when you tried to move your leg. "How am I to focus when im bleeding to death." the words gritting through your teeth.
"Close your eyes and breathe..." Loki sat behind you whispering to your ear. He placed his hands on yours and led them to your wound. "The spell only works when your calm." You took a deep breath and out as your shaky hand lay above your wound. "Feel the energy from your body, allow it to flow through your to your hands down to your wound."
You did as he said. Your enchantments extended to the wound as the blood started to lessen but the wound didn't close. "Now the difficult part. Closing the wound, you can't just imagine it to close, you know the spell."
You said aloud through your teeth holding in your pain. "Rense helbrede såret." Nothing happened, the blood lessen but the wound was still wide open. You were confused and irritated to say the least.
Loki nudged his nose towards the crook of your neck, sending shivers down your spine. "A spells power is through its whisper, to be a true master you must not only say it but think it."
Relaxing your hands as Loki slithered his to your shoulders, you casted in a whisper focusing on the spell imagining the wound closing and the energy flowing towards your wound. "Rense helbrede såret." your eyes glew orange as your enchantment casted on your leg closed the wound slowly from one end to the other. The stinging pain you felt a few seconds ago was gone. There was no mark no scar where there was once blood and torn muscle. You laughed aloud and jumped up from your seat cheering.
"I- I did it no way, I just casted a healing spell on my first try... Loki you are magnificent." You turned to the man who raised an eye brow. The unimpressed look which gutted you stomach and stopped yur cheering as you felt shameful.
"Are you proud of such a small spell I mastered long before I was 16 years old." You blushed in shame as you brough your head down. Looking away from him, you could still feel him walk closer to you. "Charms are not something you can play aroudn on the side either you take it seriously and master it or I never teach you again. Do you wish to be great or nothing...."
He was now merely inches from your as he pinched your chin and brought him to look towards him, "So tell me little girl..." At this point you could feel your heart about to jump out your heart at any moment.
"Great or nothing." he whispered
"Great..." you mumbled.
"Perfect." he leaned down as he placed your lips on yours.
--------------------------------------
"Perfect-
You snap back to reality.
"Perfect, I have the signature of the spell.... You can take the spear out whenever your ready Y/N..." Wanda smiled.
You blanked out as you saw the wound still corrupted but not as bloodied as it was before.
"Careful, won't asgardians burn or disintegrate when you touch the handle or something." Peter stopped your hand.
"It is merely a myth Peter." You held his. "It'll sting slightly but I'll be fine."
"Wow even asgardians have myths. It's like inception a myth in a myth." Ant man said chewing on his chips in the corner of the med bay on a spare bed.
You hold the dagger and it burned your hand the moment you wrapped your hand around it. You winced and pulled back your hand and shook off the heat. Everyone had their eyes on you as you tried again. You wrapped your fingers around the handle, the burning sensation started as you focused on absorbing the heat but it didn't work.
"Teya, your hand it's turning the same colour as the wound." Sam pointed out
Your hand was corrupted. You casted a healing spell on your hand as you held the dagger handle tighter ignoring the warnings from your teamates.
Only one of asgardian strength can pull out the dagger. But anyone who lays in the hand on the dagger, will meet death.
It was a phrase, a warning actually, you remembered like the back of your hand from your favourite tale.
You pulled the dagger out with some force as the wound on the body closed. You dropped the dagger on the ground as you did too.
You were on your knees as your hand turned black and you wrapped your other hand on it trying to heal it. The room felt like it was a million degrees as you felt the darkness travel through your veins.
"Y/N whats going on..." Sam said kneeling down beside you. "FRIDAY RADIO STRANGE FOR AN SOS."
"Yelena, get Thor, Parker make sure Barnes does not know about this make sure they stay with Loki."
"Don't tell James." You whispered to Sam
"Not a chance princess."
"Wanda hows the wound." You looked up in pain.
"Closing in. But old Asgardian magic is complicated, I need time to find a way for it to not spread."
"Sam, I'm fine." you groaned through the pain still trying to cast the healing spell on your arm.
"Ya say that to your black hand. And..... woah." Sam started to let your hand go when your hand to elbow was turning black
"I'm here..." Stephen walked through a portal.
"Her eyes." Sam said concerened as there was no white left in your eyes just pitch black.
You forced yourself to stand up. Your shaking right hand corrupted as you projected your powers towards the dagger on the ground. Focusing the dark energy to leave your body. You groaned as you saw Stephen observe the situation and walk towards your arm.
"Keep focusing project any corrupted magic into the dagger."
Strange got to position and casted a cleansing spell on you. Helping to slip the dark energy off you. You felt your powers slipping away from you as the dark matter did.
When you felt no more corrupted magic you stopped as there was no more magic to give. Your knees felt weak and you tried to walk towards the closest bed but crumble and fell like a new born baby giraffe.
"I got you gurl." Sam caught you before you hit the ground.
"That was very stupid of you..." Strange said as he walked towards the sword glowing red and black. He formed a shield around it as it levitated towards you. "Here this won't get your hand burnt."
"Y/N, your hand. It.... it, that looks like a raisin." Thor winced.
"Thank you Thor, for that obvious comment." your groaned standing up, carrying the bubble with the dagger with your undwounded hand you walked towards the blonde girl. Who seemed to be breathing better as her vitals improved. You took a deep breathe to feel her aura and her health. Which was improving slowly, slower than it must, you looked up towards the body 2 beds down. "Strange what can be evaluated of this mans vitals..."
Strange walked over to the white haired man and hovered over him. Levitating his file to his hands and read through it. "This man is, hm...."
"Check the jacket , TVA ever heard of anything like it." Sam said tossing the jacket towards Strange. Strange looked at the jacket spread wide open hovering infront of him. "Yes the TVA, yes...... I- I actually never heard of them is this made up?"
"Well there goes our backup." Sam groaned plopping himself back on the bed.
"Well there isn't anything we can do. I'll take the dagger back to my room and we'll recon with Loki tomorow... Everyone eat, the food is here get some sleep, meet up first thing tomorow morning 7 am." You said walking out the medbay. "Friday keep an eye on our guest... update us if anything."
"Yes boss." the loud speaker said before the doors closed.
"A bit random but shes can be very attractive when she gets all demanding and stern." Yelena smirked.
----------------------------------------------------
You placed the sphere down on your tv table plopping down on your bed. You winced as your injured hand grazed against the sheets, clenching it with your other hand forcing down another healing spell, nothing, the redness seemed to fade away for a moment but it still looked bad.
There came a sudden knock on the door. "Y/N??" "Go away strange..."
"Actually." Thor opened the door and gave you a sympathetic smile.
"Thor... Hows-
"Your hand, does it hurt- is it corrupted- how are you do you feel well?" Thor rushed over to your side and sat down on your bed. "Let me see maybe I can be of an assistance.'
"If I remembered correctly you failed enchantment and healing lessons set by your own mother." you pulled your hand away.
"I have improved..." Thor said crossing his arms.
"Of course you have." You stood up and walked to your closet to change into something more comfortable.
"I'm sorry..."
"What?"
"I can't go through this again."
"No one is forcing you to be on this assingment. You may return to new asgard and take a break."
"You should be as well."
"Thor the team needs atleast 1 person who knows Loki."
"What if they didn't." Thor said plainly. You turned towards him confused, but you knew where he was getting to. " What if but for one moment we were selfish, what if we were not heroes, mere asgardians who simply needs to be born, live, then die."
"Thor-."
"You were right..." Thor sobbed, tears forming around his eyes. "It's just like Ragnarok all over again." He stared at the ground.
You walk towards Thor and lifted his chin up. "What can I say to the brother who has been my strength for centuries ..." You sighed "I know with Asgard gone, our duties blur with the destinies we thought we could have lived. For once... I really have nothing to say."
"He looks so much like him." Thor laid his head against your stomach. "I couldn't bear myself to get to know him."
You sighed and stroked his hair back. "You need not talk to him unless absolutely necesarry."
"Falling inlove with him... Loving my brother seems to be the one thing I cannot prevent myself from doing." Thor choked out. "Even though I know the outcome I can't help a part of myself to hope."
"Lets eat... you always feel better after we eat. We shouldn't think about this right now." You brought Thor up. As he leaned forward and embraced you.
"I miss him."
"Me too."
"It's been hard..."
"I know." You sniffled as you stopped the moment and stared out your window. You looked up to him. "Shall we join the others for dinner? "
"We shall." he smiled down as you placed a soft kiss on his cheek.

Blood Red Lips🍇
Thor Odinson x Amora
Asgard 📍
(Right now)
Thor is sipping his ale and looking at Amora through his chamber’s window. She is practising her enchantments in the lawn on a berry bush, as she casts her spell the time disrupts and the berries turn ripe for one moment and mouldy the another.
She plucks a luscious berry and press it on her lips to leave the stains of its juice, making her lips blood red. Thor takes the last sip of his ale and puts the ale horn on his side table. The Crown Prince of Asgard takes a look at Amora’s whole act with the berry. He couldn’t help but walk to the front lawn and finally reaches to the Enchantress who is turning her back to him. Amora feels his presence and faces him. Gazing into those emerald eyes, the ocean eyed god lowers his head, holds the magical fingers of Amora and slowly whispers,
“Oh those kissable lips of yours, Amora!”

You were at one of the balls on Asgard, hosted by Thor and Loki, in your favorite outfit. The one that made you feel a bit more confident than you usually were.
You see Thor speaking to Lady Sif and Loki, however he looks over to where you're standing, as if he could feel your gaze on him. He excuses himself and you watch as he walks over to where you are.
“My love,” he says as he finally reaches you. He holds his hand out to you as he asks, “would you like to dance?”
You took his hand and he guided you onto the dance floor. After dancing for a few songs, your favourite song ‘You Raise Me Up’ came on and he pulled you closer before moving closer to your ear whispering, “I really love holding you, darling.”
As the song came to a close, he kissed you, before pulling away and taking you off to the side. You tripped a little while getting off the dance floor but Thor saved you before you fell completely.
“You’re okay. I won’t let anything hurt you. I’m right here.”
You smiled as he leaned down and kissed you.

Pierce
Warnings: None
Copyright: I do not own any Marvel characters or locations. However, I do own my OCs, which consist of Penny Fury, Elizabeth Nelson, Elijah Chan, Katya Venice, Violetta Moscow, Lan Le, Josh, Trang Tien, Ahni Jallow, Mai Ito, and Ghaida Kashual as well as other OCs that will come up throughout the story.
Elizabeth watched Pierce through the glass. It was a two-way mirror so that she could see inside but he could not see her. He was older than she remembered, an aging, wrinkled face. His once golden yellow hair was now turning blond white. He was less intimidating as well, a little more heavyset than she remembered.
But his eyes. Those blue eyes that had always frightened her as a kid were still the same. He was looking at the door, as though amused. Like he was daring someone to come through it.
He was chained down to the refined steel chair that was the only piece of furniture in the room besides a cabinet. Elizabeth would only guess what was in the cabinet. She didn't need any of it. The chains wrapped thickly around his arms and legs, but everything else was left free.
Bucky was standing by her side, bristling. She could feel the waves of anger and hatred and the desire to kill rolling off of him. She reached out and took his hand, which he held tightly.
"Steve," Elizabeth said quietly, letting go of Bucky's hand, walking over to the door. "I think Bucky and I need to go alone first."
She could tell that neither Steve nor Loki were happy with this suggestion but Sam touched their shoulders and they both nodded, jaws locked tightly.
She opened the door, hearing Bucky move to her side again, the two of them stepping through the door.
Pierce leaned back in his chair. "Well, I must say I'm surprised. Didn't think I'd ever see the two of you together again. It's almost like old times."
"The only difference is the person in the cage." Elizabeth murmured quietly.
Pierce scoffed, nodding his head a little. "So, where are the others? Don't tell me Rogers let both of you off your leashes so easily. Not when I'm so dangerous."
Bucky was rigid as a live wire next to Elizabeth and she felt a shot of anger rush through her veins. This man had abused her and humiliated her. Put her on display like an object for other important people in HYDRA.
But she didn't want him to see her react based off his words. Instead, she crossed her arms over her chest and started to walk slowly around him.
"I've learned some things since you last saw me." She said, concentrating on the water in his body. She focused on it, imagining it boiling under his skin. Pierce started to shift uncomfortably in his chair. Hotter, hotter. Pierce writhed in his chair, screaming. Bucky watched with indifferent eyes.
She could see his skin rippling, where the water was popping up under it, the skin turning red.
And then she stopped and he went slack in his chair, gasping for breath.
"It's a handy little trick." Elizabeth said calmly as though nothing had happened. In reality her mind was a confused jumble of memories. Trying to pull up everything that had happened to her in her life.
"Loki!" She called out commandingly and the God appeared immediately. She glanced at him, touching his hand and he read what she needed from him. Loki turned, approaching Pierce, putting his hands on his shoulders. Pierce screamed again, before Loki let him go.
It was a spell for slow regeneration and healing. It would amplify the pain as well, since there was a drawback to the healing spell.
Now, Elizabeth was in front of him again, concentrating solely on him. She could sense that there were more people outside the doors and she didn't want to lose control and hurt them as well.
She concentrated on Pierce, his body, the water in his body, and slowly started to draw it from him. Pierce gasped as water flowed by his mouth, his nose, his ears, even his eyes, swirling and collecting into a ball of water in mid-air.
Pierce's body jerked in the chair and Elizabeth couldn't find an ounce of sympathy in her soul for him. His veins were drained and shriveled against his skin. His entire body would stop functioning without the water, his organs, his brain. . .
Pierce couldn't make a sound, nor could he move an inch, his body deprived of the one thing it needed to keep working.
Then a voice whispered in her head, 'Bucky'.
She heeded Viden's advice, letting all of the water rush back into Pierce. The man coughed and hacked and then vomited up on himself as he tried to get use to the feeling of being alive again. Elizabeth tilted her head, looking at Bucky out of the corner of her eye.
There was the slightest of glazed looks in his eye and she sighed. She didn't feel satisfied and knew she probably never would be. Nothing would ever let her be okay with the way this man had treated Bucky. But the answer to everything was not to let Bucky watch her be a monster, no matter how terrible the man she was being a monster towards was.
She was tempted to shove an icicle into his stomach and let it stay there until it melted, but she touched Bucky's arm softly instead. "I'm done here."
Bucky's eyes cleared up and he looked down at her before looking at Pierce. Then he nodded without a word, putting a protective arm around her shoulder, steering her from the room. The minute they left, Loki and Thor stalked in, followed very closely by Natasha. By some unspoken word, there were no screams from Pierce until Elizabeth, Bucky, and Steve had gone into the elevator and had gone up.
Elizabeth went with the super soldiers to the living room, watching as Bucky sank down on the couch, putting his face in his hands.
"You okay Buck?" Elizabeth asked hesitantly and softly.
"It's just a lot doll." Bucky murmured softly, resting into Steve. "I want him dead but I also don't. It. . . seeing you in there with him. . ."
"Did I scare you?" Elizabeth asked softly.
"No. Not in the way you're thinking anyways." Bucky sighed, looking over at her now. Steve's fingers trailed slowly down his hip, back and forth in a comforting motion. "I was more scared for you. Like you said, you don't know yourself yet. I guess I was just worried how you'd feel about yourself. . . if you would feel like a monster for lashing out. I don't care if you hurt him and torture him later, after you discover yourself. . . I just want you to be safe."
Elizabeth smiled and nodded. "I know." She hesitated and said. "Just. . . Steve watch over him until I come back."
They both looked at her.
"Oh, you're leaving now?" Steve asked softly.
"The sooner I leave, the sooner I come back." She murmured, leaning over and kissing both of their cheeks. "I love you both."
"We love you too doll." Bucky said sincerely. "Just. . . if you need any help please call us."
"Of course." Elizabeth smiled, turned, and left the room. Only then, did Bucky turned his face into Steve's chest and sob like a baby.

"Loki can we talk?" Tony asked anxiously as Loki stripped his shirt off in the bathroom. Stephen was hovering outside of the door.
"Sure." Loki said, still seeming to be in a bad mood. It didn't matter to him that he had spent nearly thirty minutes torturing Pierce with every means necessary. Nothing about it made him feel better afterwards. Images of what Elizabeth and Bucky and even Penny went through were raging in his head. Not that Penny had been hurt, but Rumlow had used her and that pissed him off too.
"Do you- I mean you engineer?" Tony asked hesitantly, which made Loki pause. He'd thought Tony and Stephen were going to berate him for going after Pierce, considering neither of them had even touched him.
Loki sighed, before chuckling. "Really?"
"What?" Tony asked defensively and a little agitated.
Loki shook his head. "No, Tony, I don't engineer. I could never make the things you make." He said softly, walking over to Tony , pulling him into his arms. Tony rested his head against his shoulder, sighing. "What I made. . . was wrong and depraved, but it was magic, not science."
Tony looked like he wanted to ask something else as Loki bent down, picking up his blood-stained shirt and shook it out, using magic to get rid of the red stains. He folded it neatly before Tony blurted out, "Can you make me see ghosts?"
Loki flinched, dropping the shirt, spinning to look at Tony who looked so hopeful and begging. Loki squared his shoulders and Stephen stepped forward, putting a hand on Tony's shoulder. "Tones. . ."
"You did it to Elizabeth, surely. . ." Tony drifted off.
Loki hated this. "No. Tony, I can't." Loki said bitterly. "You have no Asgardian blood and even if you did, you're an adult. There's a reason I did it to Elizabeth instead of myself, even though it was my gain I wanted, not hers."
Tony sighed, obviously disappointed.
Loki picked up the shirt once more, but this time clenched it in his hands. He was not one for secrets, and definitely not from his soulmates. "Tony. Stephen. What I did to Elizabeth. . . it was completely wrong."
They both looked at him with non-judgmental looks, but Loki looked down at the shirt instead. "I messed with death and. . . I hurt her. You asked me, Steph, if I abused her or killed her. . . well no. But I experimented on her. I thought. . . I thought she was lesser than me because she wasn't full Asgardian. And-" His voice cracked and he cut off quickly, shaking his head and turned away from them.
"Loki." Stephen's body wrapped around him, pulling him down to the floor to hold him. Loki breathed in evenly, knowing that if this kept up, he might actually lose it, and he was not one to lose it. Tony sank to his knees in front of Loki, reaching out and taking his hand.
"Loki, we love you. And you made some mistakes, but we weren't even born." Tony said softly. "And quite frankly Loki, Elizabeth doesn't hate you and if she doesn't, then why should we?"
"I don't deserve you two." Loki said simply, shrugging. "Or Penny. Or any of them."
"That's the stupidest thing you've ever said." Tony snorted.
Loki huffed and Stephen squeezed him. "We've all made mistakes Lokes. When I was a doctor. . . I picked and choosed my patients, not based on the idea of saving them. . . but which operations were the most difficult. Like notches in my belt. They weren't people to me, they were money operations and ways of boosting my career."
Loki felt himself relaxing as Stephen, but still said, "You didn't kill or try to kill anyone on purpose."
"I also was never brainwashed." Stephen argued, turning Loki's chin towards him. "Look what I did to Trang. I was the one who did the brainwashing. I did that operation on her Loki."
"And then there's me." Tony said with the slightest showings of a smirk.
"Who also never killed anyone." Loki muttered.
"Maybe not with my own hands." Tony admitted. "But there was still my weapons. And then there was Sokovia-"
"-which wasn't your fault." Loki argued.
"I created Ultron."
"Which in turn helped create Vision, gave Wanda a soulmate and a reason to stop hating you so that her and Pietro didn't kill you." Loki replied heatedly.
"Exactly." Tony said simply.
"Huh?" Loki asked.
"Everything happens for a reason." Tony said softly. "If I hadn't created Ultron, Sokovia would still exist, yes. But at the same time, Wanda and Pietro would probably still be in HYDRA, or even working alongside their father. And Vision wouldn't exist which means those beautiful children of ours? Anastasia, Billy, Tommy, Andres. . . they wouldn't exist."
The room was silent for a moment and then Loki muttered. "You are smart."
Tony full out grinned now. "Exactly. Swell of you to catch on."
Loki laughed a little. "Narcissist."
They sat in silence until they heard a knock at the door, which Tony got, and then yelled, jumping back in shock.
"Well hello boys." Howard said, leaning against the door. He looked solid enough, but it still shocked Tony.
"Dad!"
"Tony." Howard said warmly, "Let's have a short talk."

"Feel any better?" Penny asked Natasha and Wanda hesitantly as they settled into the living room with their kids. Penny was curled up with Fandral and T'Challa while Rhodey sat at her feet. Chamber was in Okoye's lap, asleep.
"A bit." Natasha muttered, flopping on the couch, Anastasia in her arms.
Wanda placed Billy and Tommy down gently on the carpet with the small wooden blocks and started to levitate them in front of them.
"So they're all gone?" T'Challa asked casually.
"Yeah, Vi and Katya stopped in to say bye." Nat nodded. "Ahni and Mai aren't going with them, so they're still here."
"They're not?" Penny asked in surprise.
"Apparently they're going to fly out to Cambodia first, see Mais' family, then regroup with the rest of them in Ohio afterwards." Wanda said softly. "Trang is going to go with them to Ohio and then head to Vietnam for a week to visit Jays' family. I think Elijah might go to Hong Kong and see his family too, he won't be staying with Elizabeth after all."
"Speaking of, Sam, Steve, and Bucky are leaving for a couple of weeks." Rhodey spoke up then, rubbing his hand against Penny's leg in a soothing way. "They haven't left yet but Sam wants to visit his sister."
"Clint was saying he wanted to go and visit his brother and sister-in-law." Natasha said thoughtfully. "He wanted me and Anastasia to come with him, but I can't even think of bringing her outside anywhere. Especially so far from the tower."
"Anyone else?" Penny asked.
"Well I doubt Tony, Loki, or Stephen would leave." Nat shrugged. "Loki probably doesn't want to go back to Asgard and neither Tony or Stephen have family left. I'm not going anywhere, neither is Bruce. I'm sure you'll be going back to Wakanda soon, and you back to Asgard?"
T'Challa nodded, but Fandral shook his head. "Not fancying going back to Asgard anytime soon. Besides, we've all really missed you guys. And Heimdall wants to be here for our son. I suppose the Guardians will take off soon though, they never stay for long."
Wanda nodded, "They are leaving tomorrow I heard."
"Shaun will probably take off too." Nat added thoughtfully. "Visit his sister and all of that."
"Well, Pietro and I are thinking about going to Professor X's school, but we think we'll be back most of the nights, so it shouldn't be a problem." Wanda shrugged. "But Visions' not going anywhere."
"Oh, did Riri go with the Ohioans?" Penny asked.
"Good question." Nat said, looking a little surprised. "I suppose Josh would want to introduce her to his parents though."
Penny nodded.
"Do you think your dad is serious?" Wanda asked suddenly.
"About what?" Penny asked, frowning a little.
"Keeping Pierce here for. . . well until he drops dead. That we can torture him whenever we want. It's not. . . It's not really like Fury to do something like this."
"I think Elizabeth has a special place in his heart." Rhodey murmured softly. "And that his love for her has caused all rational thought to fly out of his head. He wants revenge and I think putting Pierce here is just as much for him as it is his idea for the rest of us."
"Thor and Loki did a number on him." Natasha said thoughtfully. "I don't think I've ever seen Thor so angry."
"I don't know if I can." Penny sighed, looking away. "When I was watching everything that happened in her memories, I felt a rage. I wanted to hurt him. I still do. But the idea of actually going down there and actually hurting him. . . it doesn't feel like me."
Her thoughts drifted slightly to when they had been going to free Ghaida's parents. She'd shot the janitor with no thought or action. Careless, and her heart filled with pain again. She stood up slowly. "I'll be back soon."
"Okay." They murmured and she walked out the door.
😺🚥 卩Oν cнa𝐍Ⓖ𝐄 🐭 🐹
"You be good for daddy." Elizabeth murmured softly into Rue's ear as the little baby girl fussed in the car seat. Elijah slipped the dragon plushie into her hands and she calmed down and Elizabeth slowly shut the car door.
"I'll take good care of her." Elijah murmured, cupping Elizabeth's face. She was tired from having put her power into Howard so he could talk to Tony. At least she hadn't been driving the car home.
"I know." Elizabeth whispered, touching her lips to his. "Tell your parents I said hi, okay?"
"I will. You. . . you take care of yourself while I'm gone." Elijah said sternly, his lips curling at the edges. "No touching yourself."
Elizabeth gasped playfully. "How will I ever live!"
"Desperately." Elijah teased back, opening the drivers' door. "I'll be back in a week."
"Take your time, it's been a while." Elizabeth said softly. "I'll see you when you get back."
She stood on the porch and watched the car drive up the street, turn the corner, and was gone. She looked around the neighborhood and smiled. Nothing had changed at all. Everything was exactly the same as she had left, with few differences.
She stepped inside the house, and closed the door, ready to start her new life.

In my Solitude
Thor x Reader x Loki - Asgard AU
18+ | contains smutty themes + adult themes etc. angst
Chapter 2 | prev | next
“And you’re sure?” You questioned cautiously, looking up at the nurse.
“Positive my lady” she nodded.
“No one can know, you mustn’t tell a soul” you threatened.
“Of course my lady” she nodded again as you began to stand, feeling a little lightheaded.
“Tell me about Midgard” you requested, your head against Loki’s arm as you looked up at the stars from your perch on one of the balconies. Taking the almost empty bottle of mead from your hand, Loki took a swig before he spoke.
“Well, I suppose it’s like here but with fewer stars” he answered.
“Really?” You asked, awestruck.
“Well there’s a few differences like they don’t have any magic there they have something else called technology and the music y/n, the music is dulcet. The harmonious melodies they have there are the real magic.”
“Really?” You gasped.
“Really” he smiled, glancing down at you before looking at the sky again “and they’ve got different countries with different rules and different rulers” he continued.
“I bet you would be the best ruler, you could rule them all” you giggled.
“I agree,” he nodded, “although I don’t think they’ll take kindly to that.”
“You’re wasted here” you murmured, looking up at him.
“How so?” Loki questioned, looking down at you.
“Here you’re cast to the shadows, always following in his footsteps but elsewhere you’d be able to shine, you’d be a king Loki” you grinned.
Loki let the words linger for a moment before he spoke.
“A king needs a queen,” he stated.
“We get along, I could be your queen” you suggested playfully.
“Yeah?” Loki smiled.
“Yes” you nodded, your gaze dipping to Loki’s lips as his lowered to yours. The tense seconds that passed between you both felt like hours as you ripped your stares apart, Loki clearing his throat.
“But alas, you’re promised to someone else” he continued the conversation.
“Well I’ll run away if you will,” you laughed.
“Yeah, we’ll meet at the palace gates and run off into the sunset together” Loki chuckled.
“Stranger things have happened my friend, stranger things” you smiled before a comfortable silence settled between you both.
“Will you take me one day, Loki, to Midgard?” You requested.
“I’d do anything you ask” he answered quickly, too quickly.
Eventually, the two of you decided to head back to your chambers, Loki helping you to yours as you stumbled over your own feet, giggling with each step. Allowing you to lean on him, Loki guided you towards your bed before you inelegantly threw yourself into it, rushing underneath the duvet. You looked up at him as he looked down at you, knowing you wanted to say something.
“Yes?” He prompted.
“I want to hear more about Midgard,” you asked.
“Of course you do,” he smiled, noticing your shiver before he clicked his fingers, igniting the fireplace as you moved across the bed to the other side, gesturing for him to lay down. Without pulling the duvet back, Loki laid down and began to speak as your eyes fell closed.
“And that’s not even the half of it” he finished, placing a kiss against your cheek as he heard your breathing even out. Standing to his feet, he looked at you for a moment, the rise and fall of your chest before he silently bid you goodnight and left your chambers.
Waking up the following morning, you cursed Thor’s mead as your head throbbed. Like most mornings, your chambermaids bathed you, clothed you and fed you before reading your daily schedule. Today you had meetings with your ladies in waiting, meetings that mostly consisted of you sitting bored as you sipped tea. As you left your chambesr to attend the first meeting of the day, you spotted Loki heading towards one of the training rooms. Dismissing your escort, you followed Loki, slipping in behind him before the door closed. You watched him, intrigued as he began laying out various weapons from the weapons vault, his back to you as you slowly stepped towards him.
“You know it isn’t polite to stare”
You gasped, your breath escaping you as Loki spoke in your ear. Spinning around, you were met by Loki who was smiling coyly at you. Glancing over your shoulder, you saw the other Loki practically disappear.
“A clone” you figured.
“You shouldn’t be in here” he smirked “this is my domain”
“Is that a threat?” You stood your ground as Loki began to circle you.
“Merely a statement, a fact if you will,” he shrugged.
“There isn’t anywhere in the palace I don’t have access to, this room, your domain included” you smiled smugly.
“I don’t doubt that,” he agreed. “However there are certain places that have certain rules, rules that must be abided by, even by you” he spoke.
“Such as?” You ventured.
“No one enters this room and leaves without a fight” he informed you.
“Am I supposed to be scared?” You smiled.
“Very” he answered in a tone that could have been mistaken for sultrily, a tone that made you falter for a moment before composing yourself again. “I promise, I’ll go easy on you” he assured.
“Oh Loki, the last thing I want is for you to go easy on me” you dared.
“So you want it hard then?” He smirked.
“I was trained as a Valkyrie Loki, do you want it hard?” You rebutted.
“Very well” he began, taking a dagger from his ankle holster and handing it to you “are you sure you’re dressed appropriately?” He asked, eyeing the dress draped over your body, touching the floor. Using the dagger, you tore the bottom of the dress off to allow your feet to move more freely before nodding.
“Give me your best shot” you spoke before you and Loki began to fight. Your blades clashed against one another as you dodged eachothers attacks. You couldn’t help the wide smile that spread across your face at the feeling of a sharp dagger in your hand again, the feeling of fighting again; you couldn’t remember the last time you felt this alive. You could tell Loki was holding back. He was one of the most skilled fighters in the nine realms and yet you had managed to nick at his skin a couple of times.
“Stop holding back” you shouted over the clanging of metal and your heavy breathing paired with his.
“I’m not, maybe you’re just that good,” Loki answered.
“Nonsense” you huffed, holding the dagger against his throat.
“Fine” he caved in, wrapping his arm around your back as he pulled you against him “if you step backward, this dagger plunges into your back.”
“And if you step forward, this dagger slices your throat” you shot back, your eyes boring into one another’s.
“So, we find ourselves in quite the predicament” he voiced.
“Although I’m at an advantage” you spoke, causing Loki’s smile to fall as you stepped back a little, freeing yourself from his grip as his dagger pierced through your dress, penetrating your skin a little.
“Y/n!” Loki gasped, dropping his dagger as he spun you around.
“It’s fine, just a little scratch, these dresses have such thick corsets attached” you dismissed.
“I could have seriously hurt you” Loki reprimanded you, untying the strings of your corset “let me heal you” he offered, removing your corset and placing his hand over the graze. The area felt cool for a moment before Loki let go. Unlike the last time in your chambers, you were wearing undergarments so your body wasn’t completely unclad, not that you would have minded with the way Loki was looking at you, forcing himself to focus on your eyes, hungry as you turned to face him.
“So, I win?”
“Get out y/n” Loki spoke, causing you to furrow your eyebrows in confusion.
“Sorry I—” you began.
“Go, now!” He raised his voice a little, catching you off guard as you quickly spun around and headed for the door.
Bit of an abrupt ending 🤣

1 | 𝓣𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓜𝔂 𝓗𝓪𝓷𝓭
Pairing: Loki x Fem!Reader
The Author
"Come on, Y/N," your mother hums as the two of you approach the large, unfamiliar castle that is looming over you. You are only six years old and have never traveled off-world before. It is an exciting yet terrifying adventure. You grip her hand tighter as she leads you across the bridge.
"Chin up, dear," your father hums as he stands in front of you, not bothering to look back. "Do us proud and you might just find a husband on this planet."
"A husband?" you gulp as you look up at your mother. Her eyes show no emotion. She looks straight ahead and pays you no mind.
"Yes, a husband. I expect great things from you, Y/N. We both do," your father replies.
As you approach the castle, your father speaks to the guards, informing them that they have come for the party that is supposedly in your honor. The guards lead your family through the winding halls of the castle. Your small steps can hardly keep up with the large guards and the pace your parents are walking at. The floral tiara, adorned with roses and leaves, on your head nearly falls off your head as you're led into a beautiful throne room.
There, you are greeted by the king and queen. "Ah," the king speaks as he approaches the three of you. "King Lucius Aurelius, pleasure to finally make your acquaintance."
They welcome you with a warm smile.
"As to you, King Odin," your father replies with a nod of his head.
"I see you have brought the princess of the hour," King Odin smiles kindly at you. "What a lovely dress, princess," he then compliments you. Honestly, you're quite proud of the compliment. The gold dress that you begged your mother to allow you to wear is your favorite. And if you're going to meet your husband today, you want him to see you at your very best.
"Thank you, my king," you answer with a curtsy.
"And what manners, too," he chuckles. "The princes will be out shortly. I believe they're planning something for you."
You turn your attention towards the large door across the room. You can't help but be nervous at the prospect of meeting your future husband. You're so focused on the doors that you don't even notice your parents leading you away until they're dragging you along. Together with King Odin and the Queen, you enter the biggest ballroom you've ever seen in your life. The marble floors glisten under the lights and the large balcony doors are open, revealing the gardens outside.
"Wow," you breathe as you look around the room. "It's beautiful," you murmur as the king and queen thank you for the compliment.
Your father, not so happy with your comment which makes his kingdom seem lesser in comparison, clears his throat and shoots you a warning glare.
"So," your father then speaks, drawing the attention back onto him, "your children?"
"Oh, yes. Y/N, darling," Queen Frigga hums as she nudges you forward. "The boys will be down shortly. They have prepared a surprise for you. Go wait by the stairs," she then instructs, pointing towards the large staircase on the opposite end of the room.
Nervous, you nod and walk across the ballroom floor towards the large staircase.
"Y/N!" you hear a voice call. Looking to your right, you spot a blonde-haired boy, dressed in armor and a red cape.
He walks up to you with a wide smile. "You are Y/N, aren't you?" he asks, his blue eyes wide with excitement.
"Y-yes, I am," you nod. "Are you Thor? I've heard much about you from my father."
"Hmm," he replies proudly while putting his hands on his hips and straightening his back to appear taller than you. "That's me! Prince Thor!"
"Well, it's nice to finally meet you," you smile kindly. "I hope we'll be good friends," you tell him as he holds out his arm for you to take.
"I'm sure we will be," he nods, grinning wider as you accept his hand. "Want to see a neat trick? I can pick up that whole statue over there!"
"Oh really?" you smirk, unconvinced. "Prove it."
"Watch this!" he then beams as takes you by the hand and leads you across the room. You gasp, your heart skipping a beat as he grips you tightly and drags you along.
"Thor! Y/N!"
Looking up, the two of you stop and turn to see the queen standing next to a smaller, dark-haired boy. He's dressed in green and black, and unlike Thor, the other boy's hair is slicked back.
"Y/N, this is Prince Loki. My brother," Thor explains as he releases your hand. "Loki, this is Princess Y/N."
You offer the prince a kind smile. "Hello, Your Highness."
"Greetings," Loki nods his head, keeping his eyes glued to yours. He then grips onto his mother's dress and hides his face. Loki rolls his eyes.
"So anyway, I was going to show you my trick. Are you ready to see it?"
"As I'll ever be," you chuckle.
Thor then sucks in a deep breath before approaching the statue. "This one's going to be great," he tells you as he reaches out for the statue. His fingers wrap around the base and, as if lifting something made of simply nothing, he lifts the statue high into the air.
You gasp as he tosses it from hand to hand, the weight seemingly having no effect on him.
"Okay, enough of that," the queen then shakes her head. "Place it back before you accidentally drop it."
"Yes mother," he agrees before placing the statue back in its place.
"Well done," you applaud him as he walks back towards you. "I'm quite impressed. I didn't think you'd actually be able to do it."
Thor's face lights up when he hears those words. "Thank you," he grins. "I think my brother wanted to show you something, too, but I don't think it'll be as impressive as mine."
You turn to look at the dark-haired boy. His face is bright red as he pulls away from his mother. She then pushes him toward you slightly where he freezes completely still.
"Was there... something you wanted to show me, Prince Loki?" you ask curiously.
"I, uh," he mutters, looking from Thor to you. Without saying more, he pushes up the sleeves of his suit. Then, with a flick of the rest, reveals a white rose out of thin air. "They're said to symbolize loyalty so I thought... well, it's nice to meet you."
With a soft smile, you accept the flower from him. "Thank you, Loki," you hum. "This is lovely."
He offers a shy smile in return.
It takes Loki a little while, but by the end of the night, the three of you are all playing like old friends. "You know, Princess Y/N, we have another brother, too," Thor randomly brings up in the middle of a conversation.
"Is that so?"
"Yes, his name is Balder," Loki adds.
"Where is he, then?"
"He's not allowed to attend the party tonight. Apparently, he kissed his nanny the other day," Thor informs you. "That's why it's just us here."
"Oh my," you chuckle.
"Thor! Loki!" the king's voice calls out to the three of you. Looking up, the three of you spot him waving in your direction. "It's time to say goodnight to Princess Y/N and her family. Come on."
"Coming father!" Thor nods as the three of you rush to the front of the ballroom.
Once your hand is back in your father's, you glance at your two new friends. Which one of them will become your husband? you wonder. Most likely, whichever is the oldest. Perhaps it will even be the one who kissed his nanny. But your parents did seem pretty sure that you'd be meeting your husband tonight... which just leaves the two.
When you glance between the two boys, you realize there's one you secretly hope it will be.
***
After that night, your family has taken multiple trips to Asgard and attended dozens of lavish parties. Each time, you are able to spend time with both princes and the two of them become very important people in your life.
"Y/N, dear," your mother's voice hums as she approaches you in the garden. "Your eighteenth is in two weeks. The King and Queen have decided that on that day, they will decide which of the three princes will be the one to marry you."
"Really?" you ask nervously.
"Yes," she says as she sits down beside you. "Now, I know you are excited to go there tonight but remember, your father and I expect great things from you. You're a princess of Astoria. Do not forget that."
"Of course, mother," you agree.
"And the prince who marries you will bring us glory and honor, do you understand? So, when we get there tonight, I want you to behave. No horseplay. No silly games. We're here to make a good impression and find the prince who will marry you. Is that understood?"
"It is," you nod.
When the three of you arrive, you do your best to hold back from running to the two princes when you spot them in the ballroom. You can tell they're acting different this time, too. Neither of them smiles as they approach with their parents and Balder.
"Y/N," Thor greets as he reaches for your hand. He places a kiss on the top of your hand, earning a small scowl from his younger brother. You wonder if this is the way they'll be all night.
"Prince Thor, Loki," you nod politely.
"We're glad to have you," Queen Frigga hums as the three princes begin to walk away. However, your mother grabs you by the hand, ensuring that you don't walk away this time.
You spend the night talking to various members of the royal family, excluding the three brothers. Your mother makes sure to keep you away, knowing that you'll run off and never be seen again. However, towards the end, once she's had a few too many drinks, she loosens her grip and lets you slip through her fingers.
You rush outside first, determined to get a fresh breath of air. You've felt nothing but suffocating the whole night and you'd do anything to get away from it all.
"Y/N," you hear Loki's voice hum.
"Loki," you gasp as you turn to face him. "What are you doing out here?"
"I could ask you the same thing," he says, a hint of mischief in his voice.
"I just needed some air."
"Ah, so did I," he agrees. "But also, I had hoped to talk to you. I saw you've been wrapped up in conversation with my parents all evening."
"Yeah well, I-"
"I get it," he nods as he approaches the balcony near where you stand. He then remains quiet as he looks out at the stars. You smile and do the same, leaning in towards him as you relax in the comforting quiet of the moment.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" you ask after a few minutes.
"Nothing. Just didn't want to miss our time together," he sighs as he looks out into the darkness.
"Yeah, well, we probably don't have long. I'm supposed to be inside still, and I doubt my parents will let me out of their sight again. I'm sure they'll have the guards looking for me any second," you giggle.
"Is that so?" he hums, turning to face you. "My, you are so popular, aren't you?"
"Suppose the birthday girl deserves that, don't you think?" you grin.
"Of course," he replies, gazing into your eyes. You hate how he does that. It's like he's able to see right into your soul, feel what you feel without you ever saying a word.
"Y/N."
"Mmhmm," you hum, looking away as he leans in towards you.
"Are you looking forward to it?" he whispers as he tucks your hair behind your ear, allowing his hand to linger on your cheek.
"For what?" you ask, half stunned by his bold move. He's never acted like this before.
"You know," he hums, moving in closer, "for your birthday."
"I'm not sure," you shake your head. "I suppose I'm ready for whatever happens."
"Are you?" he asks, his face inches from yours.
You look away, unsure if you're able to handle him this close to you. "I am."
"Even if it were to be me?" he continues, and you are pretty sure your heart has stopped
"I think," you gulp, trying not to sound nervous, "that I wouldn't mind if it were you."
"Oh," he replies, still getting ever so slowly closer. "And if it isn't me?"
"Then, I'll have a husband," you answer, finally turning your gaze back onto his. "I suppose that is a good thing. Isn't it?"
"I suppose," he hums as his eyes flutter shut. Without a second thought, he presses his lips to yours, causing you to pull back immediately.
"What was that?" you gasp, holding your hands over your mouth.
"A kiss," he answers, reaching out for your hand. "Was that your first?"
"No, I mean... Well yes, but- Loki, you can't just..." you mumble, unable to find the words.
"Do you not want to?" he asks, taking a step back.
"I... I didn't say that," you answer, your cheeks burning hot.
"You didn't have to," he chuckles as he moves back towards you.
You reach out, placing a hand on his chest as he comes near. "We shouldn't," you whisper.
"But isn't that what makes it fun," he smirks.
He's definitely not wrong. All you want is to kiss him again. You allow your eyes to flutter close, giving in to the temptation as he places his lips back on yours. This time, you kiss him back. You wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him in closer to deepen the kiss.
"Y/N, is that you?" Thor's voice then calls.
The two of you pull away immediately, both out of breath and wide-eyed. Thor steps closer and your heart races. He looks between the two of you and raises a brow.
"Were you two-"
"Nothing," Loki blurts out.
"If our parents found out, they'd kill you, Loki. Actually, probably both of you," Thor warns.
"So, what do we do?" Loki asks.
Thor turns to look at you. "Nothing," he huffs. "It never happened." He then grabs you by the arm and begins to guide you back into the ballroom. "Your parents are looking for you. Time to go inside."
You look backward at Loki as Thor pulls you away. The hurt in his eyes hurts you. You've hope to god you never have to see that look again.
***
Two weeks later, on your birthday, your parents throw the most lavish party you've ever seen. They've invited thousands of people from all across the nine realms. Everyone, it seems, wants to meet the soon-to-be betrothed princess.
"Have you told her yet?" Loki asks as Thor approaches.
"Not yet. It's a surprise, isn't it?"
"But you're telling her tonight, right?" Loki whispers.
"Let me deal with it, you ass. You've already done enough to help out," Thor scoffs. "Besides, I think I can figure out how to propose to a princess after twelve years of being told how to do it."
"Well, excuse me," Loki huffs as Thor walks away.
"Y/N," Thor greets when he spots you standing by the cake, helping the staff turn it at just the right angle. "I've been looking everywhere for you."
"Thor!" you smile when you see him at your side. He snakes his arm around your waist and kisses you on the cheek. And as he does, you can see Loki watching the pair of you from a distance away.
"How have you been?" he asks.
"Good. My mother is quite nervous about the big reveal tonight. She's been rushing me all morning, and then when I wasn't dressed fast enough, she nearly threw a vase at my head," you chuckle.
"Wow, and your father? I bet he's excited," he adds, trying to distract from the subject as he leads you towards the center of the room.
"Yes, but I know he's worried too. I'm surprised that neither of them is hovering over me right now," you explain as you look around the room and spot them approaching Loki. Perhaps it will be him after all.
"Well, before all that happens, there's something I wanted to give you," Thor hums, stealing your attention once more.
"What is it?" you ask, looking around.
Before you can take in what's happening, he bends down on one knee, reaches into his pocket, and pulls out a small, velvet box. Opening it, he reveals a beautiful diamond ring. Your jaw drops, unable to believe what you're seeing. Part of you wishes you could back away into a hole and not come back out, but at the same time, you know it would break Thor's heart.
"Princess Y/N, will you marry me?"
"Y-Yes," you hesitate for only a moment before accepting. With a smile, he slides the ring onto your left ring finger and pulls you into a tight hug. You can't help but smile in the moment, knowing how proud both of your parents will be. But once he pulls back, and your two families come over to congratulate you, tears threaten to roll down your cheeks. Locking eyes with Loki is different- and always will be- and now, you're not sure if you'll ever be able to face him again.
The party carries on and the announcement is made. The cheers are thunderous as Thor is officially declared your betrothed.
"I can't believe it," Loki sighs as he stands beside you. He's been watching Thor the entire night. You know he's been dying to speak to you, but hasn't had the chance until the rest of the room is drunk enough to not notice what either of you is doing.
"Can't believe what?" you hum, looking away.
"Part of me thought he wouldn't do it. Not after the other week..." he whispers, voice trailing off into nothing.
"What do you mean?" you then ask, finally glancing at him. "Did you know? Did you both know?"
"We did," he admits, staring out into the crowd. His eyes are filled with hurt, just like they had been the last time you saw him. "We've always known. We weren't supposed to tell you."
"Then why?" you frown, tears swelling up in your eyes. "Why did you-"
"Because, it was the only way I could have you."
"But, we can't-"
"I know. Believe me, I know," he grumbles, looking in the opposite direction of you now. "I'm sorry, Princess, I shouldn't have done it."
"No, I-"
"Happy birthday, Princess," he hums before walking away.
The tears begin to roll down your cheeks, and as you wipe them away, you realize you wish things could've gone differently. You wish Loki was the one you were betrothed to.
Suddenly, a pair of large arms wrap around you from behind and spin you around. You gasp as you hear Thor's laugh from behind you.
"You did so well," he grins. "You've made them so happy. You're going to make the perfect queen."
You bite your lip, hoping not to cry again. And as he puts you down and spins you to face him, he notices the tears in your eyes.
"What's wrong?" he frowns.
"Nothing," you shake your head. "Everything is fine."
"You're crying," he points out.
"I'm just really happy," you lie, managing a smile.
"Okay," he smiles in return, not wanting to push the issue. "Come on, dance with me," he hums, pulling you towards the center of the room.
"Thor," you giggle, trying not to trip over yourself as he drags you along. "I don't dance, you know that."
"Just follow my lead," he insists. "Like always."
The two of you dance until you're completely worn out. By the end of the night, you can't keep your eyes open, and neither can he. Leaning on him for support, you don't realize how close he is to you until his lips meet yours in a surprising kiss. You pull back immediately.
"Thor," you whisper.
"Right," he clears his throat. "I should, uh, probably get you back to your parents. Wouldn't want them to start a war."
"Yes, of course," you agree.
He offers a hand, which you take, and then leads you across the ballroom and back to where your parents are. You spend the rest of that night in a trance-like state. Time passes so quickly, that you can't believe the party is finally over. In the blink of an eye, you're back in your bed, looking up at the dark ceiling and thinking of what could've been.
***
The next time you visit Asgard, two different princes meet you than the ones you grew up knowing. The first greets you with a kiss on your cheek, rather than your hand, and wraps his arm around your waist. The second, who's dressed in gold and black, is not anywhere to be seen.
"Where's Loki?" you whisper to Thor as the two of you walk inside the castle together.
He sighs, shaking his head as he tries to find an appropriate way to explain what his brother has been up to for the past month. "Well, he, uh, is with another woman. You'll see him later," he explains as he turns to face you.
"Another woman?" you question, stopping in your tracks to glare at him.
"Y/N, it's not any of your concern," he insists. "Besides, it's not really serious. Don't worry about it."
"You expect me not to worry about the brother of the prince I am going to marry running around with a bunch of whores?"
"Y/N," he whispers sharply. "People are watching. You'll be careful to mind your tongue. Is that understood?"
"You're such an ass," you snap before walking away.
He follows closely behind you as you try and escape his presence. He catches up easily and wraps a hand around your wrist. "Don't rush off like that," he tells you, nearly sweeping you off your feet. Damn him and his annoying charm
"What do you want from me?" you huff, not bothering to stop him from pulling you close.
"Only a kiss from my betrothed, is that so bad?" he smirks.
You roll your eyes, trying your hardest not to get caught up in his charisma. "Fine, just one," you agree.
He cups your cheeks and leans in to press his lips to yours. As he does, your mind wanders to his younger brother and how soft his lips had been. Except Thor is much rougher. Instead of feeling butterflies, you feel your back pushed up against the nearby marble column. And instead of feeling the warmth of his body, the cold marble causes your spine to ache.
"Oh, god, are you fucking kidding?" Loki's voice interrupts the moment suddenly.
Thor pulls back just enough to turn his head where he sees his brother drunkenly stumbling towards you both. But instead of rushing to his side, he kisses you one last time.
"Brother," he grins, letting go of you.
"Don't bother me," Loki growls.
"What are you so upset about?" Thor asks. "I was only kissing my future wife. Did your whore not love you enough last night? Is that why you're so pissy?"
"Fuck you," Loki huffs.
"Fuck me? Brother, you've got it backwards, haven't you?"
"Don't be a dick," you sigh, addressing both of them. "Let's just go back inside."
"Mmm, no thanks," Loki shakes his head. "I have a better idea."
"Loki," Thor warns.
"Shut up, Thor," Loki rolls his eyes. "You can go back inside and kiss the hell out of your future wife. But I'm going to grab a bottle of wine and have some real fun. Want to come, darling?" he asks, offering a hand out to you.
You glance from Thor to Loki. Part of you wants to go with Loki. To make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. But you know better than to cause a scene. If your parents found out...
"Maybe another time," you sigh.
"Fine, then have fun. I'm sure Thor will give you plenty," Loki snaps before walking away.
"That piece of-" he begins before you cut him off.
"Don't," you say.
"Don't what?" he snaps.
"Say whatever horrible thing you were going to say about your brother. You two used to be best friends. All of us were. You shouldn't talk about him that way. And besides, I'd much rather you come inside and get your parents' attention off of me for a little while," you add.
He sighs. "Fine. Whatever you want," he huffs, reaching down to take your hand. "Let's go then."
***
LOKI'S P.O.V.
Even after three months from when Thor proposed to Y/N, I haven't been able to get the damn scene out of my head. She looked so happy. As if she did truly want it to be him instead of me. But what makes me even sicker is the thought of our kiss. How it'll never happen again. And how no matter how hard I try to find it elsewhere, I know nothing will be able to compare to her.
The thoughts are haunting. There isn't a moment I'm able to completely clear my head. Not while I'm with other women. Not while I'm by myself. No matter what I do, I can't forget. And the worst part is that I'm not sure I want to.
"You've been awfully quiet," the woman kneeling before me whispers as she trails her hands up my leg. "Does this feel good?"
"Yes," I lie as I place my hand in her dark hair. "Don't stop."
I close my eyes, doing my best not to think about the beautiful princess on her knees before me. But I fail miserably. She's all I can think about. I imagine the softness of her lips, the gentle touch of her hands, the sweetness of her voice, the warmth of her skin...
I gasp, opening my eyes as the woman pulls back, releasing me from her mouth.
"Did you-"
"Yes, sorry," I sigh, tucking myself back into my pants and pulling the zipper up.
"No need to apologize, my prince," she smiles quite proud of herself. "Would you like to stay here for the night?"
"Not tonight," I reply, shaking my head.
"You're so tense," she then says, climbing onto the couch beside me. "You need a release. A second release."
She's here right now. In the palace with my brother and my parents. I've always hated going to those damn parties every week since that night. I can't stand seeing the two of them together. And the worst part is that every week, she looks more and more like his princess. It's as if she was made to be his.
"I'll be fine," I insist, standing from the couch. "But if you'd like, you could accompany me to the palace."
"M-me, my prince?" she questions, her eyes going wide.
"Of course," I nod. "Why not?"
"A-Alright, then. Let's go," she agrees immediately, gathering her clothes.
By the time the two of us reach the palace, we're both drunk out of our minds. I hardly recall anything that has led up to this moment tonight, but to be perfectly honest, that's better than remembering it all.
"My prince," she hums as she wraps her arms around my neck.
"Yes?" I hum, leaning in.
"Do you love me?"
I frown as I think back to the way I had last seen Y/N in this hallway. My brother had her pinned up against one of the columns, his hands in places they didn't belong.
"Do I love you?" I question, not answering her question. "Do you want to know something?"
"Mmhmm," she hums as she presses herself closer to me.
Without another word, I push her body up against that same column where Y/N had been with Thor. My lips crash into hers, my hands cupping her cheeks, and I allow myself to get lost in her. She tastes sweet, her body warm, and her curves are soft beneath my hands. I reach down to her thigh, pushing up her skirt before lifting her off her feet. She wraps her legs around my waist, her back pressed up against the cold marble.
"You're so warm," she hums, her voice sending shivers down my spine. "So much warmer than him."
I bite down on her lip, causing her to yelp in response.
"You shouldn't say his name when you're with me," I warn.
"Mmm, then punish me, my prince," she purrs.
I know Y/N isn't here with me now, but gods do I wish it was her. I'd have to keep her quiet, making sure Thor wouldn't hear us. She'd be so good for me. She'd listen. She'd obey. And her body... gods her body.
"Take me to your room," she pleads, drawing my attention back to her.
"What?" I reply, suddenly being brought back to reality. However, before she can say more, the door bursts open and we both look up to see Thor storming down the hall.
"Loki, what the fuck are you doing?" he shouts.
I release her immediately and the girl falls to the ground, struggling to fix her dress. Behind him I see Y/N, dressed in the most beautiful golden dress. She always did look beautiful in that color. A true princess. A true princess who is staring at me with a look of shock and confusion.
"Brother," I smirk.
"Y/N," he then growls as he glances back at her. "Go back inside."
"Umm," the woman I was just with gulps as she looks between my brother and me.
"Leave us," I then order her.
"O-of course, my prince," she nods as she quickly scurries past us and back the way we came.
"Loki," Thor repeats, his voice low and threatening. "What the fuck are you doing?"
"Enjoying the party," I smirk, unable to wipe the stupid grin from my face.
"You're drunk. We have guests. Why would you do that here?" he sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Go up to bed. And don't let Y/N catch you looking this way again. Are we clear?"
"Crystal," I wink as I push past him and head for the stairs. But, as I turn the corner, I spot Y/N's worried concern and it makes my heart stop.
"Is he alright?" she asks Thor as he approaches her.
"Of course, he's just drunk. Nothing new," Thor lies.
"Okay," she whispers softly, taking his hand. "Let's head back."
"Good idea."

Steve and asgardian reader cuddling after a long day an the kids are asleep
The kids were finally fast asleep. Today drained the two of them but in a good way. It was the last day of summer, and they ended things with a bang. Big breakfast, visiting the shops until lunchtime. They then spent their time at the zoo until finally, they came home where the kids were put to bed, no problem, and their parents could spend the rest of the evening on the couch.
"We did good, huh?" Steve said, his words humming against the top of her head.
The day was enjoyed by everyone, and it was such a pleasure to see the kids enjoying themselves.
"Did you see how Daisy's eyes lit up seeing all those colorful birds?"
Steve hummed in confirmation. It was adorable seeing how bright their daughter's eyes were when she looked at the tropical birds at the zoo. One would've thought she was witnessing something amazing like a masterpiece of a painting.
"What about Nat and all the dresses she saw at that antique shop?"
Y/N laughed in response, remembering how fascinated Nat was by the many dresses displayed at that one place. She thought they were beautiful princess dresses and even asked her mother if they were like the ones she wore when she was a princess on Asgard. They were far from that kind of style, but Y/N didn't have the heart to tell her that and ended up buying many of the dresses for her. No doubt she and Steve will be attending a little fashion show where she'll show them all off to her parents.
Overall, it was a lovely day filled with so much happiness and joy with a mix of memorable experiences.
Before meeting and falling in love, neither of them knew what to expect out of life. When Steve left his life in 1945, he had lost all hope of ever having stability or finding love. Y/N, meanwhile, believed love would never come unless her father arranged for her to meet someone he claimed was special. They couldn't imagine living in a world where they could have everything they wanted. But there they were, in a place where they can relax after enjoying a fun day with their kids.
After saving the universe from countless threats, they were finally given a safe haven, a place of peace and security. The world offered new heroes that will keep an eye on things. All Steve and Y/N needed to do now was reflect on their achievements and make a good future for themselves and their family.
