Finally watching Smile 2, I'm a little over halfway through and I'm not sure that I'm liking it quite as much as the first one. It's very good still! Very freaky, I love the cinematography and the elevated levels of mind-fuckery. But I feel like the first one had a much tighter grasp on the mental illness angle, in regards to the symbolism.

I loooove the jp fandom's headcanon that geeta and larry are childhood friends who met during their time in the academy and, sometime in the future, geeta personally recruited larry to work for the paldean pokemon league, as she must be one of the first people who knew of his prowess in pokemon battling! i just came back from the vet and they said that her tooth is broken and needs to come out asap bc of the high infection risk. luckily we've got the surgery appointment tomorrow and it's only a light anaesthesia and not very complicated. then the rest of her teeth will be x-rayed and cleaned and her claws will be cut (which is desperately needed, she always pretends im torturing her when i do it lol). luckily she is otherwise fit and very healthy and hopefully everything will go smoothly and in 24 hours she will be one tooth poorer (but the rest will be nice and white with minty fresh breath lmao)
