I've been going through A Time and have chosen to cope by going back to the specific vibes of 2016 to 2018. That happens to include an incredible resurgence in my love for MCU fanfic, the community around it and all the love that goes into them. I've felt a bit distant from here for a while, but I still see so many of my old friends writing, ones who want to get back into it, and a whole lot of new writers I am dying to meet.

I've floated this idea vaguely on my blog and people seem to be interested so I figured it was worth a shot!

An introduction & what the Pink Moon means to me.

Hello, how’re you all doing today? Please call me ‘W.S’ or just ‘W’ as I don’t wish to give my name out online. I am a… relatively young practitioner; I’d say. You can check my bio for my age and how long I’ve been practicing. But anyways, here’s a little bit more about me; astrology wise.

My Sun sign is Sagittarius, which is also in my second house. My Moon sign is in Scorpio, which is in my twelfth house, and my Ascendent is also in Scorpio, but that’s in my first house.

If anyone is interested in me going into more detail about what I just said, please like and/or reblog this post; or comment/ask me to go over it. Whatever works, really.

I’m not really sure what else to put here, so here’s what the Pink Moon means to me.

Okay, so; the Pink Moon is arriving at 12:37 a.m. EST on April 6. Which is tomorrow morning if you’re also in the US. The first full moon of spring has the chance to heal us, and those around us — but growth comes with its challenges. As the full moon in Libra lights up the sky, we’ll take notice of what we need to do in order to improve our circumstances and relationships.

And it’s actually nicknamed the Pink Moon because of the wild pink flowers that bloom with spring. This specific lunation is often associated with rebirth, renewal and newness. After a long winter, we're getting a glimpse of the beauty the season brings, welcoming the sunshine back into our lives (and our hearts). 

And since this is technically Aries season, this full moon in Libra so, with any luck, its energy will help us balance out Aries' bold spirit with Libra's relationship-minded energy during this exciting time of year.

And another thing to note: On April 11, Venus and Pluto will make a trine, and the sun and Jupiter unite in the same sign, Aries. This is the luckiest day of the year!

But before we get there, we have to go through the full moon. The full moon falls within the via combusta, from 15 degrees Libra to 15 degrees Scorpio. It's known as the fiery path, and it adds some intensity to the full moon. You might see people dig their heels into the ground more.

Chiron is a small solar system body, per NASA, that also represents the healer of the zodiac. It's opposing the moon at this time, which can add a healing energy to the mix.

Elite is so bingable it’s kinda gossip girl but with murder. It’s a Spanish Netflix show that I’m watching dubbed in English and it’s awesome I can’t put it down. Every season there is a crime that starts the season and then from there you get flashes of what took place that night throughout the 8 episode season. I wish there was more episodes per season. This season is the mystery of what happened to Ari to put her in a coma and to have lost some of her memory when she wakes to couple drama. This one guy named Anders had cancer and his boyfriend Omar took care of him everyday they love each other, they live together, and Anders just broke up with Omar and maybe at most a day and a half later he’s having sex with my favorite character Patrick. These two other guys are have a dick measuring contest to see which one is more deserving of Ari.

Patrick is my favorite character, he is mischievous and knows what he wants and doesn’t stop until he gets it. He is very sexual and hot. He’s had a threesome, broke up a relationship, slept with both people in that relationship while they were still in that relationship and now slept with the person in that relationship right after they called it quits. Patrick has two sisters a twin named Ari and a younger sister named Mencia. There was an car accident when he was younger that killed his mom instantly and he was bedridden for two years. They’ve only mentioned what happen but I hope they show us a flashback and I think in the Patrick special they do show us what happened. Their father Benjamin is a douche I understand his wife died leaving him with three children but he doesn’t even seem to love his children. Mencia turns to prostitution to raise enough money to move out. From what they’ve shown it doesn’t look like he and Patrick have a relationship, the only one he depends on and asks to do stuff is Ari. The one fatherly moment I saw between Benjamin and Patrick was when they were at the hospital and Ari was in the coma. Patrick put his head against the glass and Benjamin asked him if he was ok. Next season Patrick finds love but it’s complicated excited for that.

Prince Phillip I don’t know how I feel about him. He likes a girl the girl likes him they flirt they have fun together and when they have sex he records it without her knowledge and when she finds out he tells it security reasons I was once accused of something now I record all my interactions. He tries to make it up to her by buying out a restaurant and being her server instead of her cleaning up after people as a janitor she is being waited on by him. They were gaining their trust of each other back and she googled what he was accused of and there were zero articles about it. She got caught on his laptop and the trust is now broken again. Their problems aside they are a cute couple they love fashion and he doesn’t care that she is janitor when she found out that he was coming to the school she was thrilled and excited to meet him. I know this sounds like a older younger woman young man but they are close in age.

I didn’t talk about everyone in the show but these are ones I’m watching it for. I love this show.

Patrick and Ivan from elite are cute together. Ivan annoys me sometimes but other then that they are cute together. Every scene they are in you can see Patrick is head over heels in love with Ivan and it’s adorable.

The other part of me the shipper in me and maybe because Ivan does annoy me sometimes. I wish and love Patrick and Phillipe I wish they were a couple or had more scenes together.

After seeing @that-bi-multifandom-mess posts of magneto family that are awesome I love them. I was inspired and came up with a magneto family idea:

Wanda is looking for Billy and Tommy and stumbles into the x men universe. Magneto finds her and brings her to his mutant refugee home. Wanda let’s it slip that her last name is maximoff and Erik already knows Peter maximoff is his son. So another maximoff would be his daughter and her children would be his grandchildren. When they go to Charles to use cerebro to find Billy and Tommy they also find Lorna who is currently imprisoned in a glass cell. Wanda goes to get Lorna, Erik goes to get Peter and then the family reunited go to get Billy and Tommy.

My #1 post of 2022

After watching fate season 2 and loving riven and Musa. Plus last night I watched overdrive which has the actor who plays Riven in it. He was my favorite part of the movie. I came up with this one shot. For my rivusa sister @misssophiachase

Riven ducks as Musa’ Bo staff tries to hit him. They are sparring with each other and have been for the past nine months. As she spins the staff around her he grabs it and holds it behind his back. Riven jumps and spins as she tries to lunge at him. He tries to kick her and she jumps back unfortunately she didn’t realize how close she was to the edge and almost falls into the water. Riven catches her their hands holding on each other’s wrists. As he pulls her back onto the mat they stay connected their eyes never leaving each other’s. His thumb starts to brush over her wrist. She smiles up at him. His eyes go to her lips. “The suite is empty.”

The suite doors open and they stumble inside. Their lips connects hands frantically removing pieces of their training gear. His vest falls to the ground along with her puffer cropped vest.

Riven is walking backwards as they continue to kiss to her bedroom. He does fall into a chair bringing her down with him. “The great specialist can’t avoid a chair?”

“Shut up pixie.” He reaches up to continue kissing her but she leans back. “We don’t know when they will be back, do you really want to add fuel to Terra’s hatred of you finding us in the living room.”

Musa gets up and starts walking to her bedroom but Riven picks her up from behind she can’t help it and lets out a squeal. When she is with Riven she is not overwhelmed with emotions or feelings. He quiets them and brings her out of her head. He is the only one at this school who really sees her and was really there when she lost her magic. Everyone else tried to immediately get her powers back. He listened to her.

As soon as he puts her down in the middle of the room, it’s a race to get their clothes off. They don’t know how much time they have so they will use every moment of it. It’s only after their clothes are off do either of them remember that she still has the power dampening bracelets on. He looks down at them then up at her and she nods. He picks her up by the thighs and she wraps her legs around his waist her arms going around his neck, she leans down and kisses him. For other fairies these bracelets are painful and humiliating but for Musa they are a gift. She doesn’t have to feel everything she can be in the moment. Riven knows how much she struggled with her powers and even after they came back he noticed she was not happy they were back and was having a hard time. So when he gave her the bracelets so she could focus on the fighting part then on the fairy part. She is so much more then just a fairy is also a specialist in training.

Since they starting sneaking around sparring has become their foreplay so any touch on the field is just hyping them up even more. Finding an area is not easy the suite is usually filled, and the few times it wasn’t Terra almost caught them luckily they heard the door and Musa could feel her emotions and Riven was shoved in the closet just as Terra came in unfortunately she complained about Riven and how he is a terrible person and she does not get how someone like Flora could be friends with him. Or why she has found Musa sparring with him. Musa didn’t need to be an empath to feel the annoyance vibes in that room she put a hand on the closet door keeping it closed. She defended him telling Terra that he is not a terrible person and that she knows he is capable of a lot she can feel it. Sky walked in on them a couple times when they were in his and Riven’s room. Sky didn’t pay them any attention and just came into grab something. They tried different places in the school but Musa could still feel people plus it was very dirty and damp.

Musa moans as she can feel Riven inside she doesn’t need the bracelets to know he feels calm and happy. The smile on his face and the glint in his eye says it all as he slides his fingers through her hair as he thrusts into his little fairy specialist.

Musa is different, Riven has always been this cocky dick but around Musa he finds himself smiling and being more open. That day Musa got stuck in the track thanks to Terra. He could of and was supposed to run with the rest of the specialists. Instead he sat down next to her and made sure their bags were in front of Musa’s legs so nobody saw anything. He choose to sit with her instead of training. The night they went to rescue Beatrix his only concern was Musa. He didn’t want her to get hurt, when he realized that she was still inside he was worried she put her trust in him coming with them and he wasn’t going to let her down by not making sure she got out too. By the time he got outside with Musa everyone had already left. He walked her blooded weak body back during the whole walk back he kept making sure she was breathing and had a pulse it weak from the blood loss. By the time he got back to the school his legs were shaking he was so worried about her.

Riven grunts when he feels her lips on his neck and and the little nibble on his ear. His fingers grip her hair gently but still a little rough and he feels her body mold to his as her nails scrap down his back resulting in him arching his back. He leans down and kisses her. Her lips part and their tongues start to battle. Musa puts a hand on his chest and looks towards the door she thought she heard something. It was nothing. Her fingers wrap around his neck bringing his head down to kiss him. She bites his lower lip and swallows the groan he makes.

They were pent up from training but also it’s tough for them to find time alone. They found a release quickly he leaves a kiss on her neck right below her ear. Riven flips them and wraps his arms around Musa laying on his smooth chest. Musa leaves a kiss on his neck.

The secret they share of how Musa gave her powers up that night created this intimate bond with them. That developed into a friendship. Even after she got her powers back they were friends and continued to hang out. They took it further becoming a couple they get each other on a different level. Not only do they train together but he does try to help her with her powers. A couple weeks after she got them back she tried to block everyone out and focus on him it wasn’t a success. She helps him too with her he feels less alone. Besides Sky he can only rely on Musa she hasn’t betrayed him like everyone else has.

Musa gets off him and grabs his long sleeve hooded shirt he wears to train. He watches as she puts it on. “I’m going to need that back. Silva is picky about the specialist dress code.”

She chuckles as she bends down and pecks him on the lips,”Then I should go grab your vest in the main room.” He chuckles as he stretches and rolls onto his back looking up at the ceiling.

Musa picks up both vests and as she is going back to her room Terra and Stella come through the door. They both look the mind fairy up and down Stella raises an eyebrow but doesn’t say anything just goes to her room. Terra on the other hand questions it. “What are you wearing?”

She looks down at Riven’s shirt on her she doesn’t have pants on either she did put a black bra and panties on. “Silva finally gave me a specialist uniform it’s a little big I’ll have to ask him for a new one.”

Terra starts heading to her and Musa’s room but Musa says loudly. “Terra! Flora wanted to show you something I think she’s in her room.”

One last glance at her roommate Terra heads to Flora and Stellas’s room. Musa rushes to her room and finds Riven standing near the closet with only his pants and shoes on. Musa taking his shirt off throwing it at him as she goes over to the window and opens it. “You have got to be kidding me.”

As she pulls on a pair of leggings she tells him. “Do you want to explain this to Terra when she sees you leaving. I know I don’t want to hear or feel the disgust that you have been in her room she doesn’t even like you in the greenhouse or talking to her friends let alone dating one.”

Riven rolls his eyes and shakes his head this is ridiculous Terra’s hatred of him is interfering with his relationship. He doesn’t like her either but still he would rather walk out the front door instead of scaling the side of the building to get down. He gets half out of the window and looks back at Musa who is watching the door. “Come here.”

Musa goes over to him and he pulls her closer to him and cups her cheek as he leaves one last kiss on her lips she deepens the kiss putting her arms around his neck pulling him closer making him chuckle in the kiss.

The sound of the doorknob interrupts them and he quickly tells her. “My room next time.” Then he’s gone. Terra comes in and notices the window open, Musa smiling and touching her lips, but she also sees the bracelets on Musa’s arms.

“Oh my god Musa Riven is making you wear those bracelet, he is a terrible person why do you even train with him?”

Musa grabs a sweatshirt putting it on. “Riven is not making me do anything, he’s not as terrible as you make him out to be. Silva wants me to wear these during training so I don’t have an unfair advantage against my partner.” Which is a lie Musa wanted to wear them Riven got them for her but it was her idea.

Before Terra can voice another option Musa says. “I’m going to go train.”

When she left the suite she was going to walk around but she found herself at the wall outside her room. “Wow your slow should you really be teaching me to be a specialist. No offense.”

He jumps down off the wall and towers over her. He leans down to tell her. “ I’m sure no other specialist will give you the same special treatment you require no offense.”

She laughs and pushes his shoulder. He adds. “Plus there was no urgency to climbing down that wall, now if I was climbing up the wall…”Riven raises his eyebrows teasingly she looks impressed and raises an eyebrow.

I usually say Frank because that era of Sebastian, the hair, the beard, it was fantastic! I'd be worried about Nick or Lance betraying me, which would also include the two I just mentioned; Steve & Max. I spent so long, scrolling back and forth through Sebastian's roles. I think currently, God the Bounty Hunter is also in my tops. I want to see a whole movie based around these bounty hunters. You just know they've had run-ins with each other and it would be off the handle.

Jefferson, he just wants his daughter to have everything and when they are in the new "au" all he cares about is her happiness, even if he's literally going mad trying to get it all back.

Curtis & Nick Gant were always in my tops for the longest time, but characters like Jensen and his nerdy, humourous, loyal, family man, hero type won me over. I mean even the COD soldier in the one ad he did had me on my knees. Ransom, the same reason I couldn't choose Charles for Sebastian, assholes who only care about money.

I was literally about to type Andy but then remembered Cole, that sweet, awkward, farmer existed and I can't help but giggle when i think of him. He's adorably sweet! Plus he reads!

thoughts since I picked it back up this week:

-picked it back up towards the end of Arlong Park; before we started our rewatch East Blue generally wasn't my favorite and of East Blue Arlong was my least favorite but goddamn if it isn't still a banger. -something i love about rewatching & rereading OP is, not only is the foreshadowing So Good but the amount of stuff that links back to the early arcs also makes experiencing it again sooooo enjoyable. I just thought about Bartolomeo the whole Loguetown mini-arc and, sidenote—i am really emosh about Luffy inspiring him to become a pirate 😭 accomplishing the same thing THE PIRATE KING DID except at the VERY BEGINNING OF HIS JOURNEY.... BEFORE EVEN HITTING THE GRAND LINE... even for just one person/crew is... wow okay 😭😭

-Laboon chapters made me cry twice. as is customary.

Coming Attractions!

First Monday of the month, so here we go!

As per usual, this is also an Open Question Night--anything I've posted about here or on AO3 is fair game; my askbox is always open but tonight I'll be keeping an eye on it and responding. I do take prompts, but no guarantees on how quickly I fill them.

Not a whole lot to report this month--mostly because moving took up A Lot of time/energy/etc., so I didn't get as much writing done as I would have hoped, so just a quick blitz through:

OTP Meme fills-- I'm still super behind, haha. I caught up on June, but I need to do July, August, and September for all five ships this month, so that'll be fun.

PodTogether-- It got posted! It ended up being not quite all I'd hoped it would be (our plans were a lot more ambitious than our execution, haha), but the three bits that did get finished/posted I think turned out pretty well. I do enjoy doing this event a lot; next summer should be less busy for me, too, so hopefully it'll go a little smoother/I'll get a little closer to whatever my partner(s) and I end up planning (although I think I might take Leverage off my fandoms list next time; we'll see.)

Other SW-- No real updates here, other than we at SWBB got an ask about next year's event already (signups don't open til like December!!!), so I'm going to dig up what I started last year and hopefully actually finish it so I can participate. I've been involved with that event for so long that it felt weird to only do modding/betaing/podfic and not Write for it this time. (Precipice!verse has the same update it has for the past several months. It will not die until I leave this fandom, but it hasn't been getting much/any active focus lately.)

BSG-- Signups are still open for GBB! We could use a few more artists and betas. Story detail submissions are coming in, and I'm excited for what I'm seeing. I also want to get a little more into actively working on TOB over the next few weeks/by the end of the year. It's been floating around in the back of my head for so long and I thiiiiiink I've named all of the people and patched enough of the plotholes to get started...of course, now I need to figure out exactly when/where I need to start (especially since...you know, need to introduce a bunch of OCs plus explain why Baltar ends up in a different position...so yeah XD) I do still have various crossover snippets that might get worked on (like the one I reblogged the other day; there's also the Zeb and Helo one that I thought turned out pretty well); plus The Blood of Angry Men which I do genuinely plan to write at some point, but structuring it is a complicated question XD (Zarek character study/backstory piece; mostly focused on everything that initially sent him to prison, told through the lens of him looking back on it as he faces down his execution in S4; some stuff about charisma and followers he's lost/led to their deaths; the balance between him believing in his rhetoric and wanting power/using that rhetoric to gain it...a lot of really interesting things to think about here, lol)

Les Mis-- P&J will update soon; I'm also working on Acheron which I'm super excited for. I've written snippets of dialogue for Provenance (companion to P&J) but that won't get posted until the main fic is complete (because it's probably more fun to watch Ari solve as much of the puzzle as is possible given modern-day available records/evidence before filling in some of the gaps with a somewhat more traditional-style fic, lol)

Castlevania-- Not really much to say here other than at some point I will pick up Incinctus; also when Nocturne starts airing I will probably be Very Tempted to do a more active/actual crossover with Vampire Chronicles (bookverse) because. Like. The Theatre is right there lol (I know the vampire rules are very different in the two canons; which is part of why Marius existing in Incinctus is only a quick Easter Egg cameo; also Alucard and Armand would hate each other so much lol and I love them both so I'm not...suuuuuper interested in writing about that XD) Anyway, we'll see how much Nocturne actually draws me in, but at the moment I'm looking forward to it.

...I think that about covers it! Moving is exhausting and expensive but while unpacking/setup is still going on we are Fully Moved at this point, so...yay! Hopefully next month will pick up some.

Digimon Astrology Journey - 'Head first' buddies: Koushiro & Taichi

So I’m back with some headcanon Digimon Astrology and I’m diving into it head first! Something fierce leader Taichi would do, however he needs his loyal ‘brains’ there with him and that will be Koushiro. Where Koushiro is a thinker, analytical in every way due to his pragmatic Sun and Rising, Taichi is one of action due to his Moon and Rising (and Mars!). However don’t underestimate them, they have some serious airy energy going on, making them vocal, diplomatic and charming in their own individual ways.

These boys are so different, yet work together very well. They just have a hard time… talking to others or each other about… the complicated, personal specific stuff feelings. Must be the stars, right?

Koushiro Izumi - August 26th 1989

Assigning the Virgo Sun to this boy was the first thing I did, because I myself am convinced Koushiro Izumi is the embodiment of a true Virgo. I could be wrong, as I did not study Astrology and am a simple hobbyist, but everything I read about Virgos always lead me back to this particular maroon headed anime dork for years now. Hence why I gave him the same Sun and Rising sign, because Koushiro is who he is. Anyway, let me try to convince you.

For starters, here are a few (or actually all the) things about Virgos in general, for both Sun and Rising. Virgos are bright, practical, pragmatic, orderly, respectful, critical, perfectionists, security driven, communicative, tidy, nervous, detail-oriented… Can I stop already? Okay, now pick one of the above and tell me it’s not fitting for Koushiro.

Hm, I know. It’s hard, isn’t it?

Maybe his tidiness is questionable depending on the situation… But the guy is orderly and the chaos only exists in times when his perfectionism takes over. The nervous part from the Virgo can be seen in shyness or even being obedient. All of that makes Koushiro a dedicated friend who would do anything in his power to make everything work for you. Danger is that he will efface himself, thinking he’s not worth as much as the others. This is what happens in Adventure episode 28 right after he solved the card riddle. On the top left corner either the Agumon or the Gomamon is right, but he doesn’t know which one and he apologizes, which is not necessary at all, with: “I’m sorry I couldn’t live up to your expectations,” which is such a Virgo Sun/Rising thing to say..! The Virgo dynamic is alive and kicking.

It’s even more alive and kicking in his other strong Virgo placements: Mercury and Mars. With Mercury in Virgo, Mercury is in it’s sign of its rulership, making it a strong placement. And precisely that planet is the planet of thoughts and knowledge! The combination of his Sun, Rising, Mercury and Mars in Virgo makes him be, engage, think and act like a true Virgo. Detail-oriented, thoughtful, respectful, orderly, practical and curious!

The hardest part for his birthday calculation was his Moon placement. The Moon is all about emotions, needs, wants, behavior, responds, et cetera. I first gave him a Capricorn Moon, but my boyfriend is such a Cap Moon and it didn’t fit the bill for Koushiro in my opinion. So I read and searched and eventually came to the conclusion it had to be an Air sign Moon, simply for the fact that our boy Koushiro is the bearer of the crest of Knowledge and Air signs can be seen as the intellectual ones of the Zodiac! Eventually I went for the Gemini Moon and I’m going to explain why exactly.

One could say Gemini is the bearer of Knowledge just as much as Koushiro is. Gemini LOVE to know things! They are naturally curious and are great communicators, when it comes to knowledge (pun warning if you’ve seen the reboot: they love to bring joy to their knowledge). Gemini tend to be a bit superficial when it comes to having and sharing knowledge and of course we know that’s not the case with our Koushiro here, due to his many Virgo placements, making him more observant and inward. What the Gemini Moon DOES to him is making this boy very talkative! He likes to spill what’s on his mind, he likes to share what he thinks, he likes to ramble and rant. It’s something we see him doing in Tri a lot, especially that one scene in Reunion part 3 (episode 3) where he keeps on rambling about all the strange events and he misses the first part of the conversation between the other DigiDestineds (about the news and Jyou’s ‘girlfriend’ poor guy no one believes him). Koushiro misses the conversation because a) his Gemini Moon likes to ramble and keep rambling, and b) because his Virgo placements can make him a bit unaware of his surroundings quite the time…

That’s not a bad thing per se, Koushiro is just very much focused on his work and d e t a i l s, which is a VERY Virgo-ish trait. But lets not forget that his priority is to help others with that knowledge and that the combination of his Virgo placements with his Gemini Moon makes him a great mentor. Brings me to his role throughout the entirety of Adventure 02: The Mentor. You’re welcome.

Another Gemini Moon thingy is rudeness. Now we know Koushiro is the most polite person out of ALL DD’s, always using honorifics, even saying Hikari-san instead of Hikari-chan, because Koushiro IS respect. But Koushiro is not afraid to tell you what’s at stake in times of ‘danger’, he’s not afraid to tell the truth. There are a few examples for that in Adventure, Adventure 02 and in Tri, but I’d like to refer to one of my favorite moments in whole Digimon Adventure history. Because Koushiro x rudeness brings me back to Diaboromon strikes back when he’s obviously so done with everyone, then Mimi enters the scene and he doesn’t even care. In the English dub she literally says “How rude”. Ooooohhh Koushiro, you little rude demon… It’s not the biggest proof it’s a simple one and my personal favorite.

All of the talkativeness and rudeness is something we mostly see Koushiro doing when he’s most comfortable. So we won’t see him being all talkative all the time -sharing more than just plain, superficial knowledge and instead more personal helpful knowledge- with everyone, but we do see him being talkative and speaking up to certain characters he’s most comfortable with. Now name one boy he’s very talkative to compared with literally all the other characters… You know what? Scroll down.

Last thing and then I’ll stop rambling about this beautiful and lovely nerd. His Venus, planet of values (and love…) is in Libra. What does that mean? Well, I’ve seen quite some fans type Koushiro as a bi-sexual, or something in that direction. Or even better a ‘disaster bi-sexual’. I already agreed on that, but when I saw this birth chart… IT’S (HEAD)CANON! Seriously, Libra is the zodiac sign of doubt, decision making (or actually no decision making, but I’ll get there with the next boy) and relationships and if you have your Venus placed in Libra you’re doomed to be a disaster when it comes to making decisions in your love life both romantically and platonically! Venus in Libra creates the desire for a good and loving relationships, but Koushiro’s Virgo Sun/Rising makes him more shy, his Virgo Mars makes him hold back. Once again, the Virgo Sun/Rising-Libra Venus dynamic lets him efface himself in relationships, thinking they have nothing to offer, but they have!! And so Koushiro gets left behind with his unresolved feelings… the boy has a hard time in love, let’s give him all a hug!

Taichi Yagami - October 15th 1988

The protagonist. Okay, let me compare this goggle headed protagonist to another goggle headed protagonist outside the Digimon franchise: Naruto. This is probably more interesting to people who have watched and know Naruto, so you can skip the part. To me Naruto is the classical protagonist type; bold, adventurous, playful, (a little) obnoxious at some times, hot headed… These are traits we easily assign to fire signs in the zodiac, especially Aries. So I would immediately give Naruto the Aries Sun placement. However, when we see Naruto grow up, his behavior and the way he speaks and leads grows up with him as well. That’s only natural. And based on those changes I wouldn’t necessarily give Naruto the Aries Sun placements, although the Aries placement or another fire placement is very likely to be present in his chart.

Now I could go even further, explain the development from child to adult through Jung’s theory about cognitive functions, but that’s incredibly complicated and a looooong stretch I won’t be making here today. In short, Jung’s development theory is interesting, because it shows how we first see the obvious traits in a child which are the traits the child engages (Rising sign) the world with before it develops the other functions showing the person’s true identity (Sun sign). So we could say we first see someone’s Rising sign more clearly before the Sun comes shining through. Like with Naruto. And the same could be for Taichi in the case of this headcanon.

To tackle his birth chart and big three, I’ll be starting with explaining his Rising Sign before his Sun sign. And the Rising sign I assigned him is Aries Rising.

Like I said above, Aries is bold, adventurous, playful and above all: courageous. Especially the Aries Rising placement which is more courageous than its Aries Sun counterpart. Aries are born leaders, can be extremely competitive, are somewhat restless and desperately need to move. In Taichi’s case with the above birth chart, that urge to move is magnified by his Aries Mars placement. The dynamic of his Aries Rising and Aries Mars makes Taichi a mover, an adventurer, and incredibly determined. This could be both positively, always wanting the best (especially for yourself, as Aries is a pretty selfish sign), and a tad negatively, always going and going and going. In the Adventure series this could be the reason why he makes Greymon dark-evolve, because he wants things too bad and too fast. Aries are hot headed and can grow impatient if things don’t go the way they want. And the Aries Rising and Mars dynamic makes Taichi a very physical guy. Mix that with the impatience and he is not afraid to pick fights and use his fists.

All of this can make Taichi a very stormy and reckless boy (boundaries? What’s that?), but also a fearless leader. The exuberance, the impatience and restlessness comes back in his Sagittarius Moon placement as well. This Sag Moon in combination with his strong Aries placements in Rising and Mars makes Taichi a sportive, physical, optimistic and forward leader that is incredibly courageous and adventurous, which could make him a bit ‘superficial’ as a protagonist. But the Sag Moon also deepens and strengthens his leader skills.

Sagittarius is a sign pictured by a centaur with an arrow and bow. The centaur’s horse legs make the Sag want to move and be free, but the arrow aims in a clear direction and aiming takes knowledge and focus. Sagittarius thus is an adventurous fella, but also a philosopher. Taichi’s Sag Moon placement makes him a pro in seeing the bigger picture and connecting dots next to his never ending energy. He will make sure we’re going in the right direction by overlooking the whole situation. So we absolutely shouldn’t forget Taichi is a true strategist! He sees, understands what’s at stake in a situation, connects the dots, comes with a strategy and like a true leader knows his team and can place everyone in his right spot to get through the toughest of situations (once again referring to Taichi asking Koushiro to pick the cards in Adventure episode 28). Speaking about a great leader, gosh, Taichi, you’re truly amazing! <3

However, it’s his Aries Rising and Mars that often make him act before he thinks, preferably alone (Taichi is a teamplayer, but the selfish and reckless Aries in him makes him act alone. And the sum of teamplayer + acting alone = self-sacrifice mode… which happens ALL THE DAMN TIME). Or actually makes him act while thinking without doing a short reflection beforehand. Seriously, I’m convinced that this reflection in advance could have saved him a lot of trouble throughout Digimon Adventure. Let’s blame it on (t)his (headcanon) birth chart…

Also, all of the above vouches for Taichi having an amazing intellect, but the guys needs to be challenged… Hence why he’s always staring out of the window during classes in Tri, daydreaming away to where the adventure is. He feels trapped, needs to be outside and should use his intelligence for things he finds important (like saving the digital world, soccer and saving friends and the world). The daydreaming could also be his Libra Mercury who can make Taichi lose his focus and could make him lazy. Luckily Taichi has a very active Aries Mars in opposite aspect from his Libra Mercury that neutralizes that lazy and dreamy Libra Mercury.

Okay, back to topic. Now you maybe think: But if Taichi is good in knowing where to go, being the fearless leader, also an intellect who has the knowledge to aim straight and shoot… then WHY is he so lost, down and in doubt in Tri and so unknowing of his future in Kizuna…??!! I have an answer to that. And that answer is his Libra Sun.

I know I know, this is a very VERY unpopular Sun sign to give this goggle leader, but please hear me out. For starters, Libra is the sign of diplomacy and if we believe the 02’s epilogue what’s Taichi’s job? Right, a diplomat. We also know he studies something like political sciences in Kizuna (which I think is AMAZING and vouches even more for Taichi’s intellect! Politics is a tough study…) and to make it in the political field you really do need diplomacy and charms.

Taichi is an absolute charmer, in my eyes at least. I mean, look at his 02 self! He’s such a smooth charmer in every way… The way he sends off Sora to Yamato while acting all cool and collected, phew, that requires some serious smoothness. And still we often see Taichi depicted as a down and broody boy besides his energetic and bold (sometimes indifferent…) character, especially after Tri. That too could be due to a Libra Sun placement.

Like Sagittarius is depicted by a centaur, Libra is depicted by scales and those scales are all about harmony, balance and justice. Libra is the opposite of Aries in the zodiac, but also about weighing opposites in the sigh itself. When we look at the Aries/Libra opposite placement: where Aries can be quite selfish, Libra as an opposite is the people’s pleaser. Where Aries is reckless and impatient, Libra is thoughtful and patient and one could say that an Aries acts where a Libra waits. Where Aries makes the impulsive decisions, Libra keeps deliberating leading into constant doubt and confusion. And how do we see Taichi in Tri? Ah yes, in doubt and confused.

A Libra Sun desperately wants to bring peace and harmony, driven by justice, in a diplomatic way. Libra Suns are deep thinkers which can make them very doubtful, making them spiraling down into a hole of overthinking and doubts. The Libra Sun-Sag Moon dynamic makes this all even more deep and almost philosophical in a way there will always be more and more questions, but never answers because Libra simply can’t make choices. All while being solution-oriented!

As Taichi grows up from a middle schooler to a high schooler, it’s that doubt coming from the Libra Sun that kicks Taichi hard. It conflicts with his carefree and bold Aries Rising nature and as that Libra Sun comes shining through, we see Taichi becoming more cautious and reserved compared to his younger self. The guy has a strong inner dialogue always looking for the best solutions to please everyone and bring harmony (I wanted to say ‘balance to the world’, yes to all the avatar the last airbender cameos) to the people and world(s in case of the digital world) around him he so desperately wants to protect. This is what we see happening in Tri, where he can’t choose what’s the right thing… Most of the time that inner dialogue is hidden behind his Aries Rising (and Aries Mars and Sag Moon).

So under that tough and courageous Aries Rising demeanor (remember that a Rising sign is all about engaging and how you come across to others) is a very soft, sweet, friendly and overall smart Libra Sun boy who has troubles expressing himself because the boy is in conflict with himself (which we see in the Dark Master’s arc in Adventure where he expresses his concerns towards his sister to Koushiro… it’s so hard for Taichi to let it all out, even when he needs it badly). It’s so sad, he’s such a complicated character, but that’s also one of the most beautiful things about Taichi. He’s layered af. He could be the best listener (Koushiro’s feels this, that’s why Koushiro can talk so open and freely to Taichi, because Taichi lets him thank you Libra Sun) if it weren’t for his strong fire placements opposite from his airy Sun sign. But give the boy time and space and he can show you his charms in a way no one else owns those charms.

So Taichi’s Libra Sun is hidden away most of the time due to his strong Aries placements. Usually his Rising and Sun sign being in opposite aspect from each other, should neutralize the placements, but Taichi’s Aries Mars placement makes the Aries Rising overrule the Libra Sun. Still, we shouldn’t forget Taichi is a softy with a big heart. He just needs the right people around him to get his charm on and Taichi definitely has some great people collected in his life who can help him think and make decisions.

A few things I want to point out before I stop rambling, because this analysis is already WAY too long.

Taichi’s midheaven in Capricorn in combination with his Libra Sun and Aries Rising makes him very ambitious on the intellectual side! Directly aiming for the UN and quickly climbing up the promotion ladder (and being successful like a true Cap, let’s not forget that).

His Mars was in transition from Pisces to Aries during his birth. Which means his Aries Mars is highly influenced by Pisces which could also explain why he spirals down as Pisces Mars has a lot of stormy energy on the emotional side (whereas Aries Mars has stormy energy on the physical side). When this emotional energy comes out negative, it can lead to mental health problems (!!! TRI DEPRESSED!TAICHI), especially when close friends and family (can you feel it coming? The whole Hikari-trauma is a thing) are involved.

His Libra Sun makes him in need of a group of friends and he loves being surrounded by them! Though he doesn’t like to admit that due to his Aries Rising. Taichi is such a conflicted boy…

An end note on these two boys: A heart to heart/hard friendship with a lot of mutual understanding and support <3

Stardew Valley NPCs + Zodiac Signs

[Quick Note: Unlike my other post where assigned zodiac signs to other characters I will not go into full detail of why the characters for this game are that zodiac. However, if people want me to do a follow up post with details explaining so I can do that.]

So what I did to determine the birthdays was firstly I looked up the starting dates for each season. Secondly, I wrote out all the months assigning the seasons that corresponded with the dates. Thirdly, I then proceeded to write down every NPCs birthday down according to each season (almost forgetting Leo since I was using the official guide instead of using the Wiki lol!). After that I looked up writing down the zodiacs and their time periods before categorizing each of them into a season. There were 3 zodiacs per season and to fit them into the Stardew Valley calendar I simply did some simple division dividing the amount of days in a Stardew season (28) by how by how many zodiacs per that season (3) getting 9.1 since 3 can’t equally divide into 28. The remaining day will be added at the end giving 9 days to each zodiac with the last zodiac of the season getting 10. I also want to add that I am specifically looking at Sun signs and not Cusps/Moon signs since these characters don’t have actual full-on birthdays for me to pull a Moon sign and a horoscope chart from. If I end up giving details in a secondary post then I will consider cusps.

So when I bought and played Stardew Valley for the first time on Steam I thought that each of the different farms were in their own unique places and you'd only get certain NPCs depending on what farm you chose. I initially picked the Fishing Farm and assumed Pelican Town was the name of the town that particular farm would be in. Oh how I was a silly fool! But not a bad idea I guess... Also, hated fishing when I first started Stardew Valley, but here I am back at my roots with my latest and favorite farm (it's not the Fishing Farm) trying to cram as many (and hopefully all of them) Fish Ponds.

All right. So my next Stardew post is going to be on Abigail. Since it is going to be about her I’m sure people are going to want to get my opinion on the whole Wizard is Abigail’s Father theory. So instead of having this interjected into that opinion-based post, I’d like to address it here and get it out of my way. So I have no strong feelings about this whole theory.

To be honest, I feel like it is a huge red herring. I was actual surprised that when I was playing Stardew again when the 1.5 update came out that I got this bit of dialogue from Caroline “Don’t you think Abby would look better with her natural hair color? She used to have light chestnut colored hair.”

I also think that maybe there are other father-less children in Pelican Town that the Wizard could be referring to since even he isn’t sure himself who it is when he mentions it. I haven’t had long to think about it, but if I had to just think of anyone else who could be his kid, my money’s on Emily. I say this because we really don’t know who her and Haley’s parents are and what they look like. The sisters look nothing alike (you could argue the same for Sebastian and Maru, but they have different fathers that are of a different ethnicity so it makes sense why they look different). Not to mention Emily has a lot of mysticism going on with her ability to dream walk and how attuned she is to crystals (like crystal healing and even crystal magic). But that’s just a little quick theory that I came with on the fly, so take it with a grain of salt.

Either way I don’t much care about the theory and there’s only so much evidence we have in the “vanilla game” and even then that’s not enough? As I said, I just wanted to get this out of the way because I didn’t want it having a place in my Abigail post. Hopefully I can get that out soon, but we’ll see. I like to make sure my thoughts are written out and put together before I post anything, even if they aren’t exactly liked or popular lol.

So this post was going to be a part of a much bigger post, but after realizing that I wouldn’t be able to address the character so quickly and shortly on something such as a countdown post, I relegated it to its own thing. Same with how I’m going to address each and every other character in Stardew Valley. Now, with that said, time to get on with said post. 

My Problem with Shane

I would say put down your pitchforks and torches, but I doubt all of you are willing to listen, but try to hear me out. Please.

Initially when I was going to write about everyone’s favorite chicken man it was going to be on a list dedicated to the bachelors and bachelorettes of Stardew Valley ranking all six in each post from least favorite to favorite. Shane, to everyone’s shock and probably offense *lol*, was put as dead last on the bachelor one. I did write my feelings about him promptly going to the next above him and going from there. I ended up not finishing the list because it kept bothering me that I didn’t cover my feelings or opinion enough on not only Shane, but the other few bachelors. So here we are where I’ve decided to scrap the old post and now cover all of those things I didn’t fully address on Shane.

I want to make this clear first and foremost: I don’t hate Shane. I just have some issues with him. He just rubs me the wrong way, if you will, and I say this as someone who has recently been diagnosed with moderate depression and grew up with an abusive alcoholic father: I would never marry, let alone date someone like Shane whether it be in the real world or in a video game. On some level I understand where Shane is coming from and can sympathize with him to some degree in the game (and in the fandom too) like it wants me to, but I feel as though there’s some gaps missing in his story because something doesn’t sit well in Shane’s story for me… Maybe his 10-heart event is completely different compared to his other heart events? Or how he sort of feels regressed back to his old-self when you first met in game when you get married? I also have very mixed feelings on the 14-heart event. Like, I understand, depressed people don’t magically get better and just coast along afterwards like they’re happy with the world and love life, but at the same time it’s almost like he had no growth after you got married. Hope I’m making sense…

I’d like to address an issue I have with the fandom regarding Shane. Not to sound rude or anything, but I feel as though a lot of people have this weird warped view of the man. Like, I remember seeing this fanfic titled “The One Where Shane Isn’t the Problem” (and no hate towards the author or anything) and I’m thinking: um?? Have you played the game?? He’s a bit of an asshole, especially upon first meeting him. He’s not some precious baby. Not saying he has to be rainbows and sunshine to strangers, but holy hell he is not some awkward sweet guy. He even addresses this as you get to know him and apologizes for being like that! I also find it weird that people like to draw/write him being built or having abs or being super tall when he mentions in marriage dialogue he wishes he was taller. Um, y'all know he’s a lazy drunk, right? He’s out of shape and in his pixel art it shows him looking sloppy. Since he eats junk food and drinks beer I’m pretty sure he has a beer belly. (I’m not saying out of shape or overweight people are unattractive, for the record.) Why do you guys fetishize the man?? I know for a fact that if y’all met someone like Shane in real life you’d treat him like shit or like you were better than him. I mean, maybe we’d have some people with that “I can change him or fix him” mindset, but by that point that’s just some of y’all with savior complexes and that’s just as bad… Either way, I am not a fan of Shane, as a depressed bastard myself. 

Now, I know someone is going to come in here talking about the reason why he was abusing alcohol, and I’d like to say that that doesn’t give Shane a freebie to do whatever he wants. I’ve lost loved ones that were near and dear to my heart, and even though I could have handled their losses better, losing people doesn’t give anyone the right to act, say, and do whatever they want to do, which in Shane’s case is to be a depressed drunk who lashes out at everyone including his living loved ones.

I will say that the memes and humor pieces of fanart (and some fanfiction) do make me laugh because I’ll admit that I have a pretty dark sense of humor. Not to mention I have read fanfics where they took the character fleshing him out better to where I related more with him as well as actually liked the character better.

Stardew Valley Theory

This is the start of many Stardew Valley posts I wanna post on this account.

This is something that’s been on my mind, and I’m now just remembering to finally post this.

So I wanna talk about Secret Note #11 here.

So there has been a lot of speculation about who, well, the child is in this picture. The woman is clearly a younger Marnie. The child at a glance looks to be Jaz, but as you really inspect the picture that may not be the case.

So something I wanna point out is that in Stardew Valley when you have the second upgrade to your house you can start having children once your spouse is so happy as well as when you have a crib to have a baby in. Once that happens you are able to eventually both have a boy and a girl if you want to have the 2 child maximum in your house. With that in mind, it’s worth noting that your daughter always wears a pink pajamas and the son blue. The child in this picture is wearing a pink bow like Jaz would, but is wearing the blue pajamas like the male child would in your home. See where I’m getting with this?

I normally don’t like to pull the transcard on characters (for some reason as a transperson I find it distasteful to make EVERYONE trans, but whatever that’s my own personal hangup not saying people aren’t allowed to do it because I’m not a dick), but what if that’s a child Shane? What if Shane is a transman, and the blue outfit is there to signify that? Which, another thing I find strange is that the photograph is practically black and white while the two characters are in color? But yeah, what if the bow young Shane was wearing eventually went to Jaz?

I don’t know if this crossed anyone’s mind when seeing this secret note, but this is something I’ve wondered, and to be honest this would add more depth to an already deep character that is Shane. But hey this is just a theory so don’t take this as me saying it’s word of God or the law. It’s just a harmless headcanon for something with no real context in game.
