In the Philippines, you have very limited choices if you want a good quality education. Young ones (primary school to high school) would fare better if they choose: (1) a science school, (2) a private Catholic-run school, or (3) an international school.

Options 1 and 3 are mostly available to those who can afford it and can maintain high grades. Option 2 is the middle-class choice and no, you prolly won't find a private school that is not affliated with a religious entity in the Philippines.

If you are a uni student (like King), your choices are even more limited if you want to have a good career after college. Basically, employers would automatically hire graduates from any of the big four unis: University of the Philippines (state uni), Ateneo de Manila University (run by Jesuit priests), De La Salle University (run by Christian Brothers), and University of Santo Tomas (run by Dominican priests).

So, you can imagine the dress code in most schools 😅 I think only the state uni is safe from dress codes but only because they are supposed to accomodate those who cannot afford to buy fashionable clothes. But even then, you'll get plenty of side eye 😅😅😅

it kinda makes me sad that ortho doesn't get to have a favorite food so he can't match everyone else in that new merch set with all the "character + favorite food" stickers :( i mean i know he's a robot but it's literally been canon since his first birthday card that idia can add a food-intake attachment to his gear so he can eat, so actually my question is how does that work? can he not really taste the food he eats with it? because if it does allow him to taste it then i don't know why he wouldn't use something like that during the culinary crucible or when he visits deuce's hometown, or all the time after book 6 tbh, except that maybe the writers think him not being able to eat is funnier/more interesting, or there's some other limitation to it that wasn't mentioned...?? and also, now that i think about it i don't see how anything you could add to ortho's gear would allow him to digest food so like what even happens to it LMAO

Insane how my professor took one look at me and immediately clocked me as queer. It wasn't my clothes, I was wearing a hoodie, a t-shirt, and a pair of jeans, and cowboy boots

And yet every time he mentions LGBT and supporting them and making sure we know his class is a safe space, he's looking at me. He's brought it up more than once per class and every time he's making eye contact with me specifically. I've been paying attention he only does it with me how the fuck does he know
