This is the last spread in my current art journal!

I ended up working on top of the color grid spread from before. I wanted to stay true to that exercise and create a more elaborate expression of what is fundamental to me and my practice.

You may recognize this sacred geometry as Metatron's Cube. It's named after the Archangel Metatron who watches over the flow of energy in creation and provides a connection to the divine. Colors, their relationships between each other and to us as human beings, are the foundation of my path. The shapes I've pulled from the cube connect the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Around the wheel I've written the six elements of art as they inform and direct my work. In the exterior space I've written a single descriptive word for each color rooted in color psychology and personal experience. The center features a Pentacle, a symbol used throughout history to represent light, unity, wholeness, and a quest for divine knowledge.

As this particular cycle ends I want to thank you for following my journey through this book! I hope you'll join me in my next adventure!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Halfway done! From top to bottom I've drawn some sketches of Pan Pizza, the Mummy from 2017's The Mummy and My Hero Academia's Shigaraki. Shigaraki was relatively easy, since all I felt he needed was just a dark hooded cloak to make him look like Death or a serious necromancer. The placement of the skeletal hands instead the flesh ones he has worked good and now it looks like he has a faceplate. Sofia Boutella is so completely gorgeous and I love the way she looks in the movie. Never gonna see it since its trash, but you, she still rocks. I tried giving her the markings she has on her body but nothing looked right when I did. I made a rough sketch of one of my favourite reviewers, Pan Pizza, since I always wanted to do some fanart that might be featured on his show. This is more practice for that eventually though. And finally, a titlecard for a project I was brainstorming. All I've got so far was something to do with magic and a retro aesthetic (70's and 80's), not sure what else.

When you think or read silently who's voice do you hear in your head?

For most people I've heard they here their own voice but for neurodivergent/disabled/hoh people they tend to hear the voice of someone close to them rather than their own.

Day Three of #springmagicweek2019, today's prompt is "Spring Flowers". I'm continuing my exploration of dandelions with this dandelion infused oil. This is great as a massage oil to relieve muscle soreness, chapped skin, diaper rash, and sunburns. A perfect way to prepare for the arrival of Summer. The kids and I are going to use some of the oil to make lotion bars. 🌞
