I'm proud of what I've made this year, even though I also see plenty of room for improvement. Something I love about art though, is that even if you become a master of your craft, there's still always something to learn.

Day 2 #augustforartists Why you started creating I was that kid who was always drawing and painting. Any time I could take a class or go to a camp, it was some type of art camp. So it’s definitely in my blood. It’s an itch that keeps nagging until it’s fulfilled. I wish I could say it’s relaxing but it’s really NOT always. I’d describe it much more like a roller coaster 🎢. The beach is my happy place. If I could, I’d move to a beach town permanently 2. Right now I’m painting mostly for myself, but I do sell some of my paintings and may create a website eventually for my art 🖼 3. I have 2 teenagers and I’m married to a terrific guy who’s in way better shape than me… like he can pick up and do a triathlon without even prepping for it and do really really well. Exercise and I don’t get along 4. I have an under graduate degree in graphic design, but went on to get my masters in computer science. I worked as a computer engineer for many years and have only been painting again for a few years 5.
