That hint of amusement from that sigh had turned into a teasing tone; she knew exactly what he was talking about and it wasn't s'mores, proven by the eyebrow raise he wouldn't see but likely knew by now. Syrniki--though she couldn't remember if she'd told him they were called 'tvorozhiniki'; both were right--were creamy, sweet, and felt like home. It was a joy to share them.

They were also nothing like s'mores.

"They're syrniki," she said, having some form of temporary mercy on him, "and it's a month." She was swinging in her spinny desk chair now, leaning back as she did so. "It'll be over before you know it, and then you can go back to being dramatic face-to-face." Despite him not seeing it, there was a half-shrug with her words, and they were punctuated by an attempt to not laugh, though her very entertained half-smile was probably audible in her words.

"For what it's worth, I'm gonna miss those conversations." Sympathy was lacking from her tone, though; she was far too entertained by the complaints. If she picked up on the hint? She wasn't willing to confirm it.
