A little bit of everything

A little of everything can fill you up. Too much of one thing can have you wanting a lot of everything. The right amount of everything leads to satisfaction?

Two years ... already!

Where does time go? It goes nowhere. Time is something we invented to make sense of where we have been, where we are and where we are going. Of course that's my opinion. Ignore if you think otherwise.

Take more than you have to give and your well runs dry. What that means is beyond me. I am empty and require a refill.

If you think about what you are doing most likely you will stop thinking. Simply do what you know. Thinking is not required.

Some would say doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is a sign of insanity. So does that make an artist insane?

No whine for you

Whine, whine, whine ... not the kind you drink. The world is all bright and cheery when the art flows but not so great when it does not and that is when the whine is poured ...

Yep, it’s true, I’m not going to whine this week about how hard it is to be an artist. I’m not going to tell you how great it is to be an artist either. I’m waiting for that day — oops that might be flagged as a whine, my bad.

Stagnation

Stagnation -- definition: lack of activity, growth, or development. Yep, you guessed it, it is that time again when nothing works. Impatiently waiting for the pendulum to swing back the other way.

Sometimes the person one listens to the least is oneself. When you know what you want but don't get it, then listen to yourself.
