Her: Listen to me. Toulouse is a VERY important city. They do a lot of international business there. You could look it up if you don’t believe me.

She also said that Carcassonne is the 2nd most visited tourist spot in Europe, Eiffel Tower is #1. I could look it up if I don’t believe her, in fact I should, she said numerous times. But I told her a French women I met in NY didn’t know what Carcassonne was but knows about Toulouse. “Well, not all New Yorkers know about tourist spots in NY that you don’t know about.” I had nothing to say to that, at the time. But, sure, if something was the number #2 most visited spot in the world, or continent, then I’d know about it. But she often responds with “Listen to me...” and I didn’t want to hear it.
