With the pages recent growth I thought I would come say hello and tell you a little bit more about the face behind the page, and I would love to hear something about you I don’t know too 🖤 I’m 29 years old, I’m engaged to my best friend, I have a bachelors honours degree in Fine art, and I have Borderline personality disorder. As soon as I finished school I always knew I wanted to be an artist, but I never anticipated what kind of art I would be making. Although it started with contemporary fine art, in the form of photography and filmmaking, the running themes throughout my work and practice have always been quite similar, heavily inspired by my struggle with mental health, and the concept of the death and the death of a moment. Although my mental health illness is a big part of my life and practice, it doesn’t define who I am. I have lived with it for as long as I can remember and I firmly believe that by speaking my truth and my story, not only will it help me in my own recovery, but it could also help someone else too.
