My artist hands and brain can work in a bizzare manner. Most of my work are intuitive. I just get an Eureka moment and then I have to go ahead and do that. I rarely follow books and theories, I just sort of understand them from a different space of cognition. Something like Clair Cognizance, I sort of get flashes of something I know, some deep knowledge, but don't know how I know it and where it comes from. And then I follow my instincts. . This Bonsai is a product of such a thing. I closely noticed the hedge/fence plant growing long ago at our plantations. I wanted a tiny sapling of it immediately coz my brain was reading out so many things for me. . I also love Topiary, and so the brain flashes told me - Bonsai Topiary. Don't know even if such a thing exists or people do that kind of things. I went ahead and did it. The sapling went into a container about 10-12 years back. I started growing this shrub, and maintaining it in such a way that once it turned a bigger plant with more foliage, hard and firm stump and strong roots (few roots exposed for styling, which I very gently train) Further, I gently started pruning foliage regularly into a shape of a ball/dome. It took me quite a few years to achieve this shape. • Hola todos! Hoy les quiero mostrar esta pintura que tiene un significado importante y personal para mí. La hice cuando empecé a pintar un poco más en serio (en el 2014) en una época bastante difícil de mi vida. Sentía que el mundo me había agachado la cabeza, todo dolía y era como si tuviera el cuerpo afuera de la piel. Todos tenemos épocas difíciles, en fin... Pintar y expresar (al principio tratando de no pensar en nada) me ayudaron a lograr algo de calma. Seguí pintando todos los días y cada vez me sentía mejor. Nunca estudié arte terapia ni nada de eso pero tratar de crear consistentemente no solo me curó, sino me sigue nutriendo de formas increíbles que nunca me imaginé. Hoy, 5 años después, me siento muy diferente. Todavía hay mucho camino por recorrer, pero he logrado cosas de las que me puedo sentir muy orgulloso y agradecido. Por ejemplo, disfruto mucho el hecho de poder hacer esto, de poder crear lo que quiero crear y también compartirlo. Recomiendo a todos los que les guste hacer algo creativo, que lo hagan todos los días, con toda el alma. El arte trabaja de formas muy misteriosas, algunas que aún escapan nuestro entendimiento. No sé cómo pasa, pero pasa. Adentro de este universo la magia existe. Gracias vida por dejarme crear. Gracias gente por compartir. Gracias arte por sanar el alma humana.
