The word "cabin" might have evoked the image of a small, simple building: a commonplace, a bathroom, a separate bedroom if you're lucky. Everybody who know the Paradizos could have imagined that it was not the case. Minerva might have liked minimalism (her room, as seen in various calls, looked straight out of an IKEA catalogue), but her father was litterally the opposite. Gaspard Paradizo was not the first nor the last among new riches to like extravagance, and so the cabin was more akin to a small villa, a two-floors building of wooden panels that looked so much straight of classical Alpes postcard that it only lacked a couple of cows munching grass on the doorstep. Minerva had strongly opposed buying animatronic ones.

The young woman strode up the stairs, fished a key from her pockets and turned it in the lock. A bit theatrical, considering it was two days that she was there to check that everything was in order, but Minerva loved her little dramas.

She turned her head to give her guests a welcoming smile: "Bienvenue, mes amis."

But let this be a warning Artemis, do not go behind my back again. Just because Alex Rider is with you and is capable of protecting you if necessary, does not make my job as your bodyguard any less valid.

Bonjour ma belle ! Thanks for the ask 💚 No, Myles is still in this phase sadly. I'm constantly telling him that he is his own unique person, and doesn't need to base his personality around what (or who...) he thinks people want him to be ; but I suppose he has to figure it out himself for it to finally click.

I still hope he grows out of it soon... It's really starting to get old. I understand why he'd want to prove the world he is a "superior Artemis" but I fail to understand what about being so insanely snarky and mean makes him better than his big brother ?! When being just as smart and witty but with a better temper and a nice attitude was right there as an option !!! Oh well...
