So I shall tell you all about it rn

I’m a very beginner embroiderer like I’ve done some premade kits and stuff so I just gotta learn the stitches and follow the lines. It’s so fun and stressful at the same time I genuinely have a love hate relationship with it at times. But I love how I can get a project at the end and feel proud that I was able to make that. Leaning into the grandma hobbies is jsut a fun thing to do in general

Anyway I’d love to get more comfortable to the point where I can just freestyle patterns and add cute details to my clothes and totes. I’d love to randomly add some flowers or my initial to bf’s items before he leaves for a race without telling him. He finds it a few days later is so surprised and curious as to why I did it, all I can think of is “as a token of my support/so you miss me less” 😭😭😭 how do I think up these cheesy ass thoughts

omg!!! i love grandma hobbies like embroidery. it sounds so fun and rewarding. i crochet sometimes but i don’t really make anything because its more a way of keeping my hands busy while watching tv. but wowow yes i love those videos where people patch holes in jeans and shirts with little embroidered flowers and things. maybe i need to get an embroidery kit🥺 and ahhh i love ur ideas here so much!!! i don’t have tons to add if im so honest, but i’ll give it a go anyway:

charles and his five million pairs of jeans!! yes!! embroidering ur best attempt at ferrari horses up by the pockets🥺 and little phrases on the bottom hem. like love you to the moon and back or even meme phrases like live laugh ferrari😭 he’d for sure think it was cute and it leans into his whole artboy thing that he has going on ahaha

i so agree that george would be the most enthusiastic about it. i feel like with him it would have to be kinda subtle. maybe a little heart on his mercedes polos. some bigger personal design on one of his many linen shirts. he’d wear it all the time and tell everyone you did it for him. and he’d want to hear all about your personal projects, he’d even frame the ones you were proud of.

embroidering the mclaren logo on lando’s stuff!!!! and his necklace symbol yesss. or orr something like this is his style i think. on his jumpers and tshirts and things. oh also his LN logo!!!!! he would love seeing that on all his things😣

also non specific to a single driver but imagine if u could embroider their fireproofs or their racing suits🥺😭 like idk if they would say like no any weight is extra weight but SURELY a little embroidery is fine. how sweet would it be for them to have a little piece of you with them while they’re racing y’know.

My thing is we can joke about Joe because we’re there for Taylor and as long as nobody bothers him on socials or in person of course it’s fair game, but somehow, as you and Rae pointed out Rae, some fans want to be “more mature” or one take a moral stance against it for any reason? Because they’re “big Joe fans” I guess? what do you think about this because suddenly everyone is a Joe fan when he pops up and it’s cynical but I don’t believe it

i do think a lot of people stan joe just to be the bigger person, which i think is silly. we see it on here, but also on a larger scale with fauxmoi and how quickly they turned joe into their little talented artboi. but others simply find it tedious because they know relationships are complicated.

personally, i don't really care about the jokes, i just don't join in because i don't really see the point. like, i don't even let people in my life talk shit about my exes, it just always feels too sensitive and complicated. and my friends are great! when i broke up with my ex, they all wanted to talk shit but that type of stuff has never made me feel better after breaking up. so i do get the impulse and i know it comes from a good place (at least when it comes to people i follow on here.)

so idk my thought is: i totally get why people do it. i also get why people find it tedious. in general, i agree that making jokes about joever and at joe's expense is not that big of a deal even if it's ~immature~ or whatever and the fandom could do with simply lightening up jfdakls

my thing is that i want more songs! i'll dig into the meat of what i think happened if i have lyrics or other public situations to dissect. but with what we have it's just not fun rn for me lol
