In the past I'd say "i reply to every comment" but that's somewhat dependent on my mental state and there's a bunch I haven't replied to lately, but I do try to (eventually) reply to every single comment. I love comments more than anything tbh, which is probably why my top stats tend to be comments, cause i LOVE LOVE LOVE having conversations with readers and getting to fangirl with them ahaha

6) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I mean I don't have that many finished multichap fics. If we're talking pre-ao3 I had a super duper angsty hp fic i wrote in like elementary or middle school lmao

7) What’s the fic you write with the happiest ending?

Again, I don't have that many finished multichap fics, and most of my fics have a happy or bittersweet ending. Maybe So It Goes?

8) Do you get hate on fics?

I'll be honest, I feel like I probably have but I do not remember it. I mean, I know I get blocked by people who hate some of my ships (jonalex, emsider, reader ships etc), but if I've ever received hate (which I am like 90% sure I have) I do not remember what it was for. Seriously, hate just goes in one ear out the other I do not recall what it was for because I literally do not care enough to remember lol

9) Do you write smut?

For sure.

10) Do you write crossovers?

Not really? Not lately at least, though I've done some aus inspired by other works.

11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I'm aware of, but I don't really check anywhere

12) Have you ever had a fic translated?

Someone asked me if they could translate something and said go for it, but I don't know where that is.

13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Several. I do a lot of rp fics.

14) What’s your all-time favourite ship?

I cannot choose. Lots of ships with my OCs, but i guess for canon-only, maybe jonalex? But i'm indecisive, I don't want to pick one lmao

15) What’s the WIP you hope to finish but doubt you ever will?

Oof. Too many. I'm so bad at finishing things. Unwilling Survivor and Holy Spirits and A Helping Hand are all big projects that I want to finish but I have no idea how that will happen.

16) What are your writing strengths?

I'm so bad at analyzing my own writings tbh. Maybe visceral emotion? Not sure, but I do love yearning and anxiety and metaphor.

17) What are your writing weaknesses?

Oh, finishing things. 100%.

18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I prefer to write around using a translator ('they said in [x language]' or 'it sounded something along the lines of [meaning of translated words] but their [language] wasn't great' etc) so I don't have to worry about sounding garbled, or I ask for help

19) First fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter in 3rd grade lmao

20) Favourite fic you’ve ever written?

I cannot possibly choose. I love anything with Sam in it (so all of the au stuff I've done with her, as well as Unwilling Survivor), I love my jonalex stuff (including Lucky in Love, which I think is such a niche au of an au that I tagged it as original fiction as well lmao), and of course A Helping Hand has to be in there, and might as well include the fae au for emsider and the xreader for acs, and any jonalex i wrote with hammie, and and and-- basically everything lmao, I can't pick favorites.

Thanks to @artabria who figured out the issue with my custom theme not showing. Seems there is a problem with the visibility setting . If turned on (which i dont think i ever did, so looks like it might have been auto turned on) It not only hides your account from people who don't have an account, but from people who do INCLUDING THE OWNER OF THE ACCOUNT. I switched it off and boom i can see my custom profile again.

On Aerith and Sephiroth: They are definitely the ones from the original game. Aerith tells Cloud at some point to not fall in love with her, but they have know each other for just 1-2 days at that point? I have this very, very cracky theory that not only is this a sequel to the original game, but also a sequel to the latest Dissidia, where heroes and enemies ally and take down a god. Guess Sephiroth got ideas about changing fate/breaking the cycle? xD

oh yeah, Aerith tries to warn him off, likely to try and keep him from the pain hes in during Advent Children - the ambiguity is in whether she actually is that Aerith or just aware of her future selfs experiences (unlike Sephiroth, Aerith doesnt seem the type to go possessing her younger self), though she apparently is also fully aware of what Jenova is from the start and knows Sephiroth is out to destroy the planet

and i mean, technically? all the Dissidia games are canon to the greater FF multiverse (Brave Exvius also adds to that multiverse even more, with NieR, Kingdom Hearts, Bravely Default, Fullmetal Alchemist, Tomb Raider and Deus Ex in the mix) - though it seems with the villains are always drawn from an earlier point in time than their respective heroes are (for obvious reasons, because the heroes can be taken from the ends of their stories - usually, Noctis is an exception - but the villains are typically dead) and its always kept kinda ambiguous when Sephiroth is from in that case, if hes from during the main game, if hes been pulled out of the lifestream as his post-AC self, etc. dude is hard to kill

another factor is that the people involved in Dissidia always forget their time there (likely so the knowledge of the multiverse doesnt potentially inform their decisions later on down the line), so Sephiroth may not consciously remember

regardless, this definitely seems in line with his last words to prime!Cloud, “i will never be a memory”. what better way to follow that up than to alter history so that he didnt get defeated

In a way, Advent Children doesn’t fully shoot down the Armageddon theory. Red still appears with his kids at the ruins of Midgar, humanity could have still died after several events. Also, do you think the new games will expand on Jenova? Because I’m a fan of the “Jenova was an Omega Weapon from another planet and nature can be terrifying” theory.

@artabria i am unfamiliar with this theory! do you have a link of someone explaining it? or would you be willing to explain it to me? i don’t remember a whole lot about dirge of cerberus (i’ve only been through it once, many years ago), so i’m not as up to snuff with my knowledge of omega weapon as i would like. i AM, however, extremely interested. so please !! i’d love to hear this.

i’m not entirely sure what the remake is going to do with jenova, though. i was pretty disappointed with the scene of her leaving hojo’s lab. in OG, it was terrifying because the implication was that sephiroth’s will had overwritten her consciousness so completely that he was able to control her physical form from the north crater and lead her to his side. but in the remake, he has a black cloak come in and physically remove her, which changes things. her body is no longer moving on its own, and she remains limp and lifeless for the entire remake.

i certainly hope that they do go into her more. for all my gripes with the way the remake did the removal scene, i absolutely ADORED the trail of cosmic goo she left in her wake. jenova’s basically a lovecraftian great old one -- she’s this eldritch elder god -- and it was so cool to see the remake lean into that imagery, if just a little.

i also appreciated the way that the remake had shinra give a PR spin to the death of the ancients, removing any mentions of the calamity from the skies at all and giving them the fate of the dinosaurs instead. i thought that was really neat.

but we’ll see. the cosmic grime and the constant mentions of black cloaks being former SOLDIERs and how SOLDIERs deterioriate rapidly with time makes me hopeful, but that lab scene. idk. i really hope they do more with her.

There's a dragon in the Hobbit. But most of the dragons appear in the Silmarillion. The one in the Hobbit, Smaug, is TINY compared to them.

ye I know about the hobbit one, I was there for the whole "ayyy sherlock and watson as dragon and hobbit" hype. but apparently the popular opinion is there are NO dragons in the original trilogy, and shapeshifters or not I BEG TO DIFFER

Which is probably not going to change, because they seem to be recording the voice's already (going by the pics that Sergio Mura posted in Instagram). I hope we get Season 3, because that's when the series goes full Isekai, and I hope they make longer seasons, because Season 3 and beyond (*insert beyond joke here*) won't work with 5 episodes per season.

Ugh. I really wish they’d done one (faaaaar longer, ofc) season per book. That way I would be more confident that we’d get to see Tríada to its competition. You can’t tempt me with a MDI adaptation, get my hopes up that I’ll get to meet Sheziss and see her interact with Jack and with Zeshak (those are my two fave dynamics in the books tbh), and then take that away!! Or worse, ruin it by rushing through her storyline. It’s too cruel DD:
