I like it much better than my original attempt. Finally finding a good reference/face claim (plus this year’s realization that scruffier is generally better) made a big difference, hah.

Alrighty, here's my first bit of fanart for 2024! Asha and Starboy from Disney's Wish - more specifically, Wish's concept art :''') I haven't seen the movie, but I think I can confidently say that I would've been more interested in seeing it if they'd kept the romance/soulmate dynamic from the early concepts.

But anyways, here's my take on Star's design, and also a little cheek kiss for Asha! :D Also, I never made an official "Happy New Year" post, so I just wanted to say thank you all for your support in my art and writing endeavours! I hope this year is a kind one for you, and may all your wishes come true <333

A creature quite similar to eoduskini, operating under similar rules as monsters in and of the dark. The primary difference is that while eoduksini appear in the corners of ones eye in the dark, a geuseundae will hide under the veil of a distraught child's appearance to lure in passersby.

Mourningstar, The Lightbringer, The Golden-Death, Sun-Savior

A little backstory / symbolic art piece of a gay little chaotic and evil-ish Deity from a story that swims around in my head from time to time 🫠

So yeah he’s sorta the actual Devil. But not quite as you’d probably imagine. (He maintains that those apostles did him dirty when they wrote that little book that people seem to like.) He’s been perceived by humans as a lot of things throughout the eons, Seth to the ancient Egyptians, Apollo or Helios to the Greeks and Romans, Lucifer to Christian people (there’s a reason the name Lucifer means “light”,) and various other powerful and dangerous gods and entities across time and space.

But he maintains that all he really wants to do is kick it at the club, cause problems on purpose, and revel in the innate chaos of the 22nd century.

Mass destruction and/or catastrophe isn’t on his calendar until Wednesday, and hey, everybody feels a little grumpy during the workweek, amiright?
