“Really, you were always so reckless…” She chides softly, her hands pressed to the wound and uses her magic to close up the wounds. From there she went silent. Focusing on healing his wounds she couldn’t help but to think back on all those times he had fought for her and rescued her from harm. How she would reward him with a kiss filled with every ounce of her love every time she had given it to him.

“…. Thank you, if it weren’t for you I would be the one who need’s the healing.” Guinevere said after she finished healing his wounds. Looking up at him she could see the look in his eyes. Oh please, don’t look at her like that. Not with those beautiful lavender eyes of yours. 

Would it be alright? Just this once? 

Unconsciously she began to lean forward, closer to his face, the tips of her nose barely touching his…

“Oh my that took longer than I expected, are you two holding up ok?” Guinevere instantly pulled away from him in time to see Raikou with their master traveling in tow. 

“Y-yes! We’re alright.” Guinevere is quick to her feet and rushes to their Master’s side to check them for wounds and heal them if necessary. As she checks their health she notices the mystic slayer had approached the knight and helped him onto his feet. She was talking to him so informally, so friendly, so…. Affectionately. 

She turns her focus back to their Master. What was she thinking? Kissing him? What would that have accomplished? Had she learn nothing from her past mistakes? Doing such an act would only bring him pain… 

Even if it hurt to see him with other’s, it was for the better. He deserved someone much better than this unfaithful queen.

“Monsieur...” He was taken aback. To be spoken to in his native language was something that wasn’t a common occurrence. The fact that the knight was speaking HIS native language was more than enough to gain the executioner’s shocked attention. 

“...Merci Beaucoup, Monsieur Lancelot.” It’s awkward, to compliment someone in his own language... but in this case, he wanted his gratitude to be genuine and grateful.

She doubletakes at the baby, staring incredulously at the Saber while attempting to hold them correctly. She had to support their neck and bottom right? “L-Lancelot-san...wouldn’t it have been better to find an orphanage or a monastery?” Did Chaldea even have any supplies for babies?

His eyes automatically widened at the sight of her. "Doth mine eyes mock me? Is my beloved queen once again ere me?" He was so shaken by the sight of her be defaulted back to their era's English instead of the modern English the grail taught him.

“My dearest knight…” Green eyes were wide with disbelief as she gazes up at the man, hands held together tightly as if he had caught her in the midst of a prayer. “Lancelot is it truly you? I’m not dreaming am I?” The forsaken queen desperately wanted to reach out and touch him. To feel his warmth once more and allow the years of pining spill forth into the present. 

But she dare not move from her spot. 

There was fear in her heart. Fear that if she made even a step towards him he would disappear.

She saw a similar atmosphere in Sir LANCELOT---------there won’t be anything to prevent the King from understanding him.

              A nod is made as the King takes a seat next to her knight. One hand positions itself on top of his, fingers grip tightly for the sake of refusing to move away.   ❝   ...My friend, you are not the only one who was deceived through a magic trance. MORDRED’S creation, the Treacherous Knight who suddenly lost his way...was the product between myself and my sister Morgana le Fey.   ❞   A pause, the King of Knights wanted to resume after gazing at her knight’s face. Saber prays he wouldn’t speak out against these events that revealed a child’s origins. She strains from understanding one fact about the former Queen.   ❝   I...betrayed Lady GUINEVERE even if I recall no such memories of conceiving a child with my sister.   ❞
