Shareholder Meeting Read

Energy surrounding the meeting:

There is a clear intent to discuss many things and come to a resolution on such things. But these energies are very focused on the big picture and the impact they will have on a social level. Mostly, everyone involved wants to get it resolved as soon as possible. There is strong charismatic Feminine energy at the forefront of all of this. Aragonite [CaCO3], Dolomite [CaMg(CO3)2] & other carbonatic minerals

This post is a part two to my "Calcite (CaCO3)" post, you don't have to read that one to understand this one, but it would make more sense to read them in order.

Aragonite [CaCO3]

Aragonite is another one of the most common carbonatic minerals on the Earth's surface, right alongside calcite. Calcite and aragonite share the same chemical formula (CaCO3) because they are both polymorphs of the calcium carbonate compound.

Polymorph: The same chemical compound can present itself naturally under more than one form, depending on temperature and pressure. Multiple forms that share the same chemical formula but are stable at different values of temperature and pressure, are defined as polymorphs. In this case, the formula is CaCO3, which is also known as calcium carbonate.

Aragonite's structure is a lot come compact than calcite's, which means it crystallizes in different shapes. Notably, aragonite is subject to a peculiar type of gemination that is called "hexagonal gemination", in which 3 different crystals grow around the same axis, forming an hexagonal prism.

Gemination: It's a concept that I wish to talk more extensively about in a separate post, but all you need to know is that it happens when crystals grow around, inside, next to and on top of each other.

Aragonite is stable at much higher pressure values than calcite is, so how are we able to see it when it's not subject to that high pressure anymore? Shouldn't all aragonite become calcite when it's brought to armospheric pressures?

This is a particular phenomenon called metastability, the structures of calcite and aragonite are too different for an aragonite crystal to quickly turn into calcite when it's not in stable conditions anymore. Which means, aragonite isn't actually stable in conditions of armospheric pressure, but it takes it too much energy to turn into a stable compoud, and so it stays as it is (I will expand on metastability later on).

Dolomite [CaMg(CO3)2]

Dolomite is another relatively common carbonatic mineral, and it's more or less composed of a 1:1 ratio of calcium and magnesium. It is denser and harder than calcite and aragonite, and its structure can be described as alternating layers of CaCO3 and MgCO3.

To my followers who love her, on the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Studios, Kitty, (now in her 50s) and her family are invited as the guests of honour to a party for animators and their cartoon characters. Every character ever created by the studio is there. She's hesitant to turn up, she was an animator a long time ago after all but with some encouragement from her family she decides to go. She dresses smartly and to her surprise there is a fancy car waiting for her outside their house. The chauffeur explains that the escort is courtesy of Mickey and Minnie themselves. Maisie excitedly clutches her mother's arm and they arrive to a bustling reception.

She shakes hands with old friends, makes some new connections and embraces the toons she's known and helped since she was young.

•Prince Charming and Cinderella greet her at the staircase and Kitty asks how they and their mice are doing. In response, Jacque-Jacque and Gus run through riding Lucifer the cat like a horse.

•Dumbo swoops overhead and gives her a wave with his trunk.

• Baloo sings on stage with Thomas O'Malley and Scat Cat, dedicating a song to the guests of honour.

•Ariel and Moana are chatting in the foyer and smile brightly as she returns from touching up her make-up.

•She runs into Ursula in there who was reapplying her mousse and gossiping about which Prince and Villain look the most dashing tonight.

•She gets a similar gracious nod from Maleficent and the Wicked Queen.

•Hades pulls on the old "You look familiar kid, do I know you? Ah! Amazon chick, right?"

•She is given a warm reception from the animals: Scar, Shere Khan, Shenzi Banzai and Ed, Kaa, Bagheera, Robin Hood and Little John, Kenai, Iago, Sebastain, Louis, Ray, Bambi, Thumper, Big Bad Wolf, the Three Little Pigs, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps are just a few of the animal toons she chats with that night.

•Anastasia and Drizella do fangirling over her outfit. They also praise how well she's aged.

•The Genie appears out of a nearby ink well to surprise everyone and when he sees her he gives the biggest smile. "Kitty Hawkins!" *transforms into a cat and a hawk in the space of a second* "I knew it was you Sweetheart, I never forget a face except my own!" *takes off his face* "I'd forget my own head if it wasn't attached!" He lifts it off his shoulders and Ichabod Crane faints.

•Elsa and Anna come up to speak to her when they sense her nerves. Elsa's a bit overwhelmed by the crowds too.

•Bruno Madrigal apologises profusely when one of his rats jump onto her shoulder and is pleasantly surprised when she doesn't mind and even asks how he got on with family group therapy.

•She gets a hug from John Silver.

•Milo Thatch is there with his wife Princess Kidagakash and they talk about languages. In Dutch.

•Mr Smee brings Captain Hook a drink. He's a surprisingly giggly drunk.

•Belle and her have a terrific catch up. She also thanks her very much for helping the Beast become comfortable with his drawn form.

•Lumier helps to watch Maisie and calls her "la petite madamoiselle."

•Merlin knows how to make everyone a good cup of tea and mix cocktails. The Mad Hatter is behaving more erratically than usual.

•Kitty's husband is shaking hands with a lot of anti-heros and even a villain or two. They are incredibly grateful to him for helping them clear their names and turn their lives around.

•Snow White recieves a standing ovation for singing. She invites Asha, the newest Disney character up on stage and gives her a hug to quell her fears about not being welcomed.

•Kitty and Meg roast the executives behind their back.

•At some point in the evening, a cake is wheeled out and Tigger jumps out of it holding a "Happy 100 Years!" sign.

Kitty is sipping her drink and enjoying the armosphere when a hush falls as Mickey and the organisers give a special toast to all who turned up tonight. He thanks Scrooge McDuck for the funding, Tiana's Place for the catering, Daisy Duck for the decorations...suddenly Kitty hears her name. And a round of applause. She's being honoured and thanked by all the cartoons she ever helped mentally and emotionally. Her family are cheering.

"Hooray Honey! Congratulations!"

"Yay Mom!"

She smiles. It's all worth it. It was always worth it.

Your specialty I think is Atmosphere. The places and how they're described in your fics are so impeccably put together, you really Understand the Weight of a Setting. You can tweak words to make a room Comforting and Full Of Love or Vile and Repulsive or even Melancholic and Hopeless. It's not just the setting though, it all really adds to how you make your dialogue shine, the characters are Tangible and Flawed and so very much Themselves that you can't help but get sucked into what you're reading. Your Dialogue is Fantastic but mixed together with how you do Settings, it makes for the Most Bitchin Atmosphere I've ever enjoyed. The fic where Sun is left alone in the daycare for instance; how despite the room being the same temperature at all times it feels Cold and Sterile and makes you feel isolated and lonely as you read, how in your Christmas fic the atmosphere is warm and safe in a fort decorated with lights, a fake fire burning on the computer and cookies in the oven. How in your horror fanfics Moon and Eclipse feel unknown and frightening, because of how you can't see them clearly from the shadows, can't keep your eyes on them forever, or even seeing Too Much At Once and becoming rapidly aware that you're in danger from your hair raising as static screams at you from the TV Screen. Absolutely Incredible. So I think Armosphere is your Niche :)

That's a very creative idea. I'm not sure what I think of it because I don't know much about either characters but I'd love to hear your thoughts. How did you come up with it?

Yes I'd love to see the firework video. I haven't seen any in so long because we didn't have a new years event last year because of covid so I'll have to wait until november for skylights if I want to see any in person.

4 & 7 Astala Tabris, Ilanlas Mahariel, and Marelas Lavellan

Oho!!! These are some good, juicy ones!! Here goes:

4. write a book with, read a book to, hit with a book

I would very definitely write a book with Marelas. As the First of clan Lavellan, the man is a scholar and firmly believes in the power of shared knowledge. He's got great work ethic and likes to dive deep into issues of his interest, which are mainly magic and histry. That's where he'll lose me; unlike him, I'm no expert in Thedosian history, nor elvhen history, nor magical theory and practice. But we could put together some neat side project for him where we try to bring a basic vist of magical theory to the average Thedosian to diminish the stigma against mages. I'd mostly act as a sounding board, putting my own ignorance to good use by making sure the text is entertaining and understandable to the reader. I think Marelas would love to get Sera on board for this, but I don't think he'd be able to. Or, maybe I can get Marelasinto writing novels. Y'know, as a relaxing hobby. He'd come back utterly at odds with the whole thing because the story got sad and suddenly it's not relaxing at all anymore! I think it's unlikely he'd get that far, tho. He's a busy man and would prefer to spend his free time otherwise.

I'll read a book to Ilanlas. He likes having something to listen to while he whittles away at his little figures and man, he's starved for positive interactions with people, so let's give him that. I really don't know what to read though. Something like fantasy might be the easiest thing, although it would be weird for him to see elves regarded so differently if I read, say, the Lord of the Rings. I kinda want to introduce him to all my childhood classics, Astrid Lindgren especially. I think he would enjoy her stories even though they would obviously be intended for younger people. And I kinda want to try the Percy Jackson series for him, although there'd be a lot of reference to greek mythology that'd fly right over his head (and a lot of modern stuff I'd have to explain, but most of it wouldn't be terribly plot relevant). Or I might try something entirely new; I have the feeling that the stories I like don't deal with the kind of emotions and problems he deals with on the regular

And I'm... yeah. I want to share a book with Astala too. Alas, hers is the lot to get hit by a book. Softly. Bonked more than hit. It'd be a paperback and done all as a nice joke and then she'd get to bonk me back. And maybe then I can read to her as well, yes? I think she'd like The Hobbit, or Howl's Moving Castle, and I think she'd enjoy it if I did character voices

I'll take Astala to the wedding. She'd have a blast. She'd get to meet friends of mine and/or family, which she'll be delighted by, she'd love the food, love the armosphere, love the dancing and be all eyes at what our weddings look like. I am counting on the hope that all of that will be enough to keep away bad memories of her own almost wedding. If not, well... I'll be there to help.

I'm taking Marelas partying. Poor man. I would have liked to take Astala, but she's too much of a party animal for me when given the chance. The good thing is that Marelas and I have similar dispositions when it comes to parties: they can be fun when there are friends of yours, dancing can be nice, drinks are to be enjoyed in moderation if at all, and we'll go to sleep at a reasonable hour. I think I could get him to dance a bit. I can definitely get him to dance if we can bring Dorian along. We'd end up in a corner of the room talking best we could over the music, head out for fresh air periodically and then head home. It would be nice! And I can count on him to not get past a little tipsy.

And I'm taking Ilanlas to a museum. This might not seem up his alley that much, but. We'll go to one of those very interactive ones, where you can pull levers and look how sediment shifts with the water and stuff like that. It would be something about natural sciences, maybe evolutionary theory, dinosaurs and stuff. God, he'd love dinosaurs. Maybe Stone Age. "This is what life must have been like for us before June taught us our crafts," he says. I think he'd enjoy himself XD XD XD

Ok, but can we discuss a little the scene where the photos are taken from?? I've seen so many people discussing the mental breakdown scene at the end of the episode, because IT IS a very interesting one. But, from what I've noticed that scene doesn't really reveal things about Alastor. It more like enhances the mystery surrounding his character. But this scene, ohhhh this scene is soooo interesting to me and it's such an important moment for Alastor's character imo.

First of all, what he is saying: "It's been a surprising thrill to witness these wayward souls find connection." We know Alastor is the type of person that likes to sit on the sidelines and watch shit go down. Hell, this is the main reason (at least according to him) why he decided to help with the hotel in the first place. He wants to watch them all fail and sip his tea while it's happening. Except that here he doesn't say that he liked watching the drama or their struggle. He says he liked watching them find connection. Very unusual coming from him since he doesn't have a particulary strong connection with anyone and doesn't really like this sort of thing. Perhaps Rosie is the closest thing to a friend he has but still he always keeps everyone -- even the ones that he seems to genuienly like -- at arm's length. So this statement when he basivalky says that he enjoys watching the Hazbin crew connect with one another is intriguing, at the very least.

Then, he continues with: "I admit one could get accostumed." This is even MORE intriguing. Idk what others thought when they watched this scene, but to me it was obvious that when Alastor said "one" he was referring to himself. Of course he isn't going to say "I could get accustomed to this". It's way to personal and... vulerable in a way that he can't allow himself to be. So he sort of detaches himself from the situation, but it's still obvious, even with him pretending and hiding, that he is referring to himself. Not to mention that beforehand he said, in response to Niffty that they are "an enjoyable collective to be around". He is basically saying -- in his own aloof way -- "Yeah, I like their company and I could get used to this".

Second of all, it's the way he says it. Look at his face. At his eyes. At his expression. Look at the position of his body. He is relaxed, leaning into the railing, with his head in his hands while watching the other. But it doesn't seem like a "watching and plotting from the shadows" kind of thing but more like a "watching the others because it's a pleasant and enjoyable armosphere" sort of thing. His smile isn't strained or sly, but it seems curious and interested. Maybe even genuine. He likes being there and likes the company and the whole vibe of the place.

And lastly, it is the person he's talking too. With Alastor it's very hard to tell when he is being genuine in his interractions because he is a master manipulator with his own agenda. This applies especially with Charlie. He has all the reasons to want to manipulate her and if he would have been saying all this to her then I would probably hav thought that he was bullshitting. But here he's talking to freaking Niffty. She's an unhinged sado-masochist who likes to kill bugs and dosen't fully comprehend what's happening 90% of the time AND he also owns her soul. He doesn't have a reason to lie to her about liking the others or try to manipulate her. Also, she seems like one of the few people of which he is fond of and with which he would slightly lower his guard down.

My theory is that, during the time spent at the hotel, Alastor had started to like the atmosphere and the residents and got used living there with them. He still had his own interests and own goals and of course he still manipulated the shit out of all of them, but these things aren't mutually exclusive: he can still like them AND manipulate them for his own gain at the same time.

BUT BUT BUT I think things seriously changed after the battle. He obviously was disturbed by losing against Adam -- losing control, losing his image as an invincible demon, losing his life almost -- AND, even worse, being remembered at someone who died for his friends. That, in his eyes, is a huge stain on his name. He sees getting attatched to others as a weakness and the thought that he might risk his life for others and be remembered as an "altruist" sickens him. I think this will seriously affect his relationship with the rest and is what basically makes him decide to take action and free himself from whatever deal he has going on so he can regain the control that he feels he lost ("I'm hungry for freedom like never before"/ "Once I figure out how to unclip my wings"/ "Guess who will be pulling all the strings").

I personally think that there is a chance for Alastor to be redeemed. He deffinetly isn't pure and complete evil like some describe him. It's been confirmed that he has his own, twisted moral code and that he didn't go just after anyone when he was alive and a serial killer. This scene alone imo shows that he has the potential to grow attatched to the others despite not wanting to and generating a huge internal dilema.

Alastor is deffinetly an interesting and complicated character, much more complex than the smplified "100% irredeemable evil demon" many reduce him to.

The thing I love the most about Alastor is that we can't truly know what to think of him, if he is being truly manipulative or if there's a genuine undertone behind any of his words, and that allows people to interpret him differently from one person to another. Like "oh he's being so sweet and supportive", to "no actually he's just saying what people want to hear because he's an evil manipulator". Maybe some fans are being too trustful, just like Charlie, and falling into his lies. BUT maybe there's a true genuine undertone to everything he says, maybe he can be a sweetie behind his evil mask. And maybe he'll turn out redeemable. Or not at all. Who knows?

His character could go in two completely different directions in the next seasons and we have no way of telling how he'll turn out. It's still fully open because he showed he can be awful and evil and manipulative, but since there's been very few hints here and there that he could get attached to the hotel, that means he could be sweet despite all that. The mystery and uncertainty is keeping us thinking and hoping and I LOVE that. He's such a unique and amazingly written character.

On a personal note, I think the two different directions his character could take should coexist. Yes, he's going to be a main villain in the future seasons and betray Charlie and the hotel, yes he's an evil manipulator, BUT he could also get attached to them and show redeemable qualities at the same time. For me it would make the heartbreak even greater and his character even more satisfying.

Finishing to Prep that one event in Barovia turned into surprise relecture for surprise session tomorrow for the end of death house. My 900+ shuffle of music just put Hellfire from FFXV with the choir for the relecture of the boss of this area.

It's so appropriate I would change the music I've chose for thos one. If only it wasn't final fantasy iconic and my players weren't ff players.
