Just a heads up! Even though I really love having a bunch of muses without all the extra emails and such, I’m going to do what I did with Thomas Crown / crownsgambit and make the muses I want to keep their own separate blogs. Running a hub is oddly stressful for me and I’m not sure why, but it’s easier for me to want to write on blogs if they’re not a side blog. Anyway!

headcanon: asexuality

Although the Narrator thinks human activity is fascinating (the main reason why he toys with humans so much in the Twilight Zone), there’s a lot about humans that he thinks is disgusting. Sex, namely, is abhorrent to him. Chaste kisses are amusing, but anything beyond that is absolutely primitive and filthy.

so for one of my final projects in my college illustration course, i did a caricature of rod serling and no one--not even my professor--knew who it was. at first i thought oh no, is my art that bad? but in actuality they just... somehow didn’t know who rod serling was. or anything about the twilight zone. i’d never been more disappointed with a room of almost 40 people in my life.

Endora’s face breaks out in a wide grin as he kisses her hand, and she can feel herself melting just a bit on the inside. To her, it is a grand gesture of respect, one she believes she is entitled to, and is absolutely thrilled to receive. She even allows him to keep hold of her hand as she perches herself upon the countertop, a great privilege indeed.

“Why don’t you take my son in law?” Endora asks, hoping she sounds persuasive, even if he won’t consider it. “I can come up with at least a dozen reasons why he would benefit. I’ve never met a nastier, stubborn…pig of a man in all my days. And you know how long I’ve lived!”

          The Narrator pops a brow in interest. People who wronged family members in some shape or form were quite the common passerby (or even permanent tenant) in the Twilight Zone. Already his mind was a whirl with possible methods of teaching Endora’s son in law a few “life lessons”. It was a little too first-thinking, but perhaps a piggish man deserved to become just what he was described as--a fat, filthy pig. 

          “Hmm...” The Narrator releases Endora’s hand and takes a puff from his cigarette. “You know, it isn’t usual for me to take, mm... requests.”
