I GOT MYSELF CHEWS!!!! 🥰🤭

Hehe they make me feel so small and calm and sweet and cute and precious…. I’ve been having a really hard time with grinding my teeth lately (I think I might’ve even chipped a little piece of one of my molars 🥺), so now that I have these I’m really happy and excited to have something to do with my mouth without biting myself or other stuffs that I shouldn’t be biting ☺️

***These are from ARK chew products!!! I got the three pack of chew picks and a chew necklace!!! They come in three different hardnesses (the 3 pack has one of each, it’s a good place to start!!). So far I’m loving the medium, but I know they’ll all be helpful. I’m so happy 🥰

oh my god finally finished DT tonight and honestly have so many good feelings that im happy to share w my mutuals who have completed it as well - won't be discussing it on my blog to avoid spoilers, but it might be my favorite expac so far - in no small part bc I got to play most of it w/ @apollogeeee and being able to do current content w my partner really just!!! made it so much more special.

shrinky dink earring tutorial ^_^

finally posting this as @purplequay requested, sorry this took so long lol

ok so basically shrinky dinks aka shrink art are these sheets of plastic that can be heated so that they shrink and become thicker and more durable, you can buy them at craft stores like micheals tho i believe target has them as well. no clue if they can be found outside the usa tho :/

so first youd want to take whatever design you want and draw it on paper, then trace said design onto the shrinky dink sheet. you can technically just draw directly onto the shrinky dink but i prefer to do it on paper first cus its easier to erase

the plastic shrinks to abt 1/3 of its original size so make sure ur design is larger enough for whatever u wanna do

if you have the kind that has a rough side you can use pretty much any medium on it as far as i know. but if you have the kind thats smooth on both sides id recommend using some kind of alcohol-based ink like permanent marker or dry erase marker

also if youre using yours to make earrings or jewelry id recommend leaving some space at the top to punch a hole thru

after that you can go ahead and cut that thang out w/ scissors or what-have you. id recommend getting a hole punch to cut out any holes you might need but tbh you could just use a needle or something. BUT make sure that hole is big enough cus itll shrink after you heat it

ok i dont have any pics for the next step but you can just put ur dink on a flat surface like a cookie sheet and pop that thing in the oven at 325 F for like 3-5 min depending on the size

your dink might curl but dw itll flatten out while baking. if it doesnt you can quickly flatten it w/ a spatula or smth before it cools. unless you have the off-brand kind which cant bend after baking in my experience

then BOOM. you have two little bits of plastic you can use to make jewelry or charms or whatever your heart desires. im making earrings outta these two

id also recommend adding a layer of resin or mod podge dimensional magic (cheaper but less durable than resin) to help protect the dink and make it look more glassy

the whole process is pretty easy and i believe that most packs come with instructions but lmk if u need me to clarify anything 👍

Alright so we got more carchar muties towards our fully mutated multicoloured war machine

Some LOVELY green boys (+random pink spikes), surprisingly all the same shades just in different places. I think they’re neat

(They were in the same hatch session, too!)

This incredible black body, deciding to go out with it in the final product. Tonight I managed to combine it with a white belly I had (I don’t think I ever got an image of it)

But that looks like uhhhh, this now that they’re mixed

Plus, a bonus random belly mutation I got when trying to combine the colors, pretty wild looking I just might keep and use it

Plot synopsis:

Set in 2186, we follow the story of Kriki, an amateur astronomer. His otherwise unremarkable life is suddenly interrupted when, while examining the feed of an external deep space camera, he notices something. Taking his findings to the Astronomical Research Subcommittee he is initially dismissed as insane, but as stars outside the windows slowly start to disappear the truth becomes increasingly obvious; there's something alive surrounding the ark.

The premise was pretty good, but I think the actual writing was too generic. Especially that scene near the end when the computer guy said “This might not make it.” I mean come on, use a less clichè line.

Most people went into this with unreasonable expectations due to its unique status. If this had been made 36 years ago on Vivis the average score would have been a whole point higher, but because social media hyped it up as the first movie produced on Ark everyone's acting like it was supposed to be some sort of firearm level innovation!! Seriously guys, be happy with what you got!!

It was alright, but I feel they really fumbled the catch with the ending. Sometimes not knowing what the monster looks like is better than actually seeing it. Yes the special effects on it were good, but I liked it more when the monster was just some unspecified thing that defied description. Instead we got a something that looks like a Tirkitei crossed with a fish.

I can best describe this movie as “wonderfully average”. It runs the same race as every other Mystery Monster movie, with the one original element being that it is set aboard our own ship. While I'm sure that before we left the contact range there would be a large market on Vivis for this film, it came five years too late and everyday life is seldom interesting to the ones living it. If you are a fan of the genre you will enjoy All Encompassing, but not more than any other film.
