You were gonna lose it. You knew what the symptoms were (of course you did, you’re 22 years old), but you refused to believe it until right now. You stared down at the four positive pregnancy tests on the bathroom sink. What were you gonna tell Seth? Well besides that you’re pregnant with his kid. How would he react? Would he leave you? No. No, he would at least make sure you could take care of the baby. Seth is a good guy. Right?

Your spiraling is cut off by the sound of the front door closing, and Seth, your boyfriend of a little over a year, calls out your name. You hide the tests in the cabinet, scrambling to get out of the bathroom. Seth walks in just in time to see you with a panicked look on your face, slamming the door to your ensuite bathroom. 

“Are, umm, are you okay, Babe? You look a little scared,” he’s genuinely worried.

That’s all it takes for the dam to burst and the tears to start flowing. You’re sobbing now, and when your knees begin to feel like jelly, Seth is right there to catch you. When the tears finally slow down, you lead him into the bathroom.

“No matter what happens right now, I need you to promise you won’t hate me,” you desperately need the reassurance.

“Babe, why would I ever hate you? I can’t -”

“Seth. Please, just promise me,” you cut him off, knowing you don’t have time for his questions.

“Okay. Okay, I promise. I won’t hate you,” he shoots a very confused, and mildly concerned, look.

You open the cabinet, slowly pulling out the tests and placing them on the counter once again. Seth just stares with a blank expression. Silently, you were begging him to say something, anything. Even if he just yelled at you, it would be better than silence.

“Baby, why would I hate you for this?” he almost sounds hurt by the fact that you didn’t think he’d be happy.

“So… you’re not… mad?”

“Why in the world would I be mad? I’m gonna have a kid who I can teach all of my favorite things to, and the best part is that they’ll be half you. I’m so happy right now you don’t even know,” he chuckles at the end of his sentence, tears lining his eyes now.

“Oh thank god,” you sigh out in relief, “I knew deep down you wouldn’t leave me high and dry. I just… I just know it’s kind of soon, and we’re both still young, and it definitely wasn’t planned.”

“Hey, it’s okay. We’ll be okay. I promise you.

Seth kept that promise in more ways than you could imagine. When his hockey schedule allowed it, he was at every single appointment, and every opportunity he got he was browsing things to buy for your baby. You had both agreed not to buy anything until you knew what the gender was, and you could tell it was taking a lot for him to hold himself back. To add to it all, Seth was already setting in on not letting you do anything. It was still early, so there were plenty of things you could still do. However, when Seth was around, he wouldn’t let you so much as tie your own shoe.

After just a few weeks, it was time to find out the gender, and both you and Seth were chomping at the bit. You had asked the nurse to put the gender in an envelope so the two of you could find out by yourselves. After leaving your appointment, you went to a bakery that did next-day orders. You handed the cashier your envelope and asked if they could do either a pink or blue cake depending on the gender, pink for a girl, and blue for a boy, but leave the icing white.

When you both went to the bakery the next day to pick up the cake, Seth was practically buzzing with excitement. He’d been waiting for this day since he found out you were pregnant. Truthfully, it doesn’t matter to him what color that cake is. Your little baby is gonna be his best friend either way. 

You both got back into your car (you’d been using it more often than Seth’s because he deemed it “more baby-safe”) and made your way to the nearest park. Seth had the idea to have a nice little picnic before cutting into the cake, so it would be a little extra special, especially since you two hadn’t had a date night in a while. You had instructed Seth this morning on how to prep and pack your little picnic date, and now you were watching him set it all up. Once you both got comfortable on the blanket, you picked your food out, but just as you started to dig in, you caught sight of Seth’s puppy dog eyes staring at the cake.

“Do you wanna do the cake first, Baby?” you questioned, even though you already knew the answer.

“Can we please?” Seth quickly perked up. “I’m dying over here.”

“Yes,” you laughed. “Hurry. Hurry”

He grabbed the cake, placing it between the two of you. Together, you both grabbed the wine glass you’d brought specifically for this, slowly inserting it into the cake. You both pause, looking at each other, before taking a deep breath and slowly pulling the glass toward you to reveal the color of the cake. After just a moment, you both begin to see a little pink hiding under the icing, and as soon as Seth registers it, he’s pulling you into the tightest hug he can manage. 

“A girl!” he’s giggling into your ear. “We’re having a girl! Oh my god! I’m gonna have a daughter! We’re gonna have a daughter!” You don’t think you’ve ever seen him this happy, and you’re not sure you ever will again.

Seth might have been at his happiest when he found out he would be a girl dad, but he’s definitely at his most content now. You’re watching from the doorway of the nursery as Seth bounces your daughter, Olivia, in his arms, and your heart has never been as full as it is right now. Seth catches a glimpse of you out of the corner of his eye and begins to move toward you.

“Look, Livvy,” he whispers to the one-month-old in his arms, “there’s mommy. Look how pretty she looks. Don’t know how I ever got so lucky.” At that point, he was right beside you, leaning toward you and puckering his lips. You can’t help but indulge him, meeting him halfway in a soft kiss. Livvy however, already a daddy’s girl, did not like it, beginning to whine in her father’s arms. 

“I can’t believe I carried her for nine months, just for her to look like you and like you better,” both of you know you’re joking. You adore how much your daughter resembles and loves Seth.

“Can’t help that she knows who’s cooler,” Seth teases.

“Oh, whatever. It’s just because you insist on being the one to put her down to sleep when you’re here,” you playfully roll your eyes. 

No matter how much you tease and joke with each other, neither of you would trade the life you have now. You’re with the person you were so obviously meant for, and you share the most perfect daughter you could have asked for. Yeah, both of you were pretty content.

I’m coming down with domestic fever so imagine LE reader doing domestic things like reading recipe books or looking up tutorials on her phone so that she can try cooking/baking different things for them to eat. She can look up recipes on different baby foods she can make for her son that’s both fun yet practical and healthy!

It turns out it’s one of her favorite pastimes because she gets to try out new things and Gojo pretty much gives her free reign to shop for whatever foods or supplies she wants (anything to make his pretty lil wifey happy)🥰 he prefers her doing calming domestic things she likes instead of dangerous sorcerer stuff

 I can even imagine her sewing cute little outfits/costumes for her son😭😭 it would also be entertaining for Gojo to try doing those things himself to help….even if they come out disastrous and leads to him being banned😂 at least to him, she looks good with an apron on or a scarf/band over her head to keep hair out the way. He just loves watching her 🩵

okay so i’m going into this event basically being sus of everyone at this point LMAO, i don’t even trust our boys tbh - anything could happen and i’m excited! everytime there’s a big event i always am like “ugh… not another one i have to drain energy into and it isn’t even that interesting” (respectfully). like the last one on the train? i didn’t really care much about it, the only things that interested me were nxx being all up on eachother (exaggerating)

basically i prepare myself to be disappointed, which might sound messed up but tbh the events have only been hittin recently (for me) because of the fact that they’re not having nxx be at eachother’s throats lol. (not saying the past ones weren’t good though and that none of the recent ones were a miss bc again, i didnt fully enjoy the train event)

this one already had me though 😭 got me gagged, the ui is so fucking cool - the card system?? the OUTFITS make me wanna CHOMP my phone (esp luke’s… smth- smth abt it is just. hm, delectable). also baby davis always appearing is so cute his little “hello, miss… uh, i mean, little boss!” LMAO that is my son!!!
