ADORIEL'S TEARS PROGRESS UPDATE

Hi everyone,

It's an even day, so I thought it would be a good time to give a quick summary of where I'm at with Adoriel's Tears.

As I hope you've noticed with the sneek peaks, I'm continuing to write in my corner and interacting a lot less here.

The last Q&A and some asks I received after it have a lot to do with it.

The end of 2024 and the beginning of this year has been and is hard for me in the real life I'm prioritizing, so I'm writing less regularly than before, but the days dedicated to this activity are generally enough to make up for the days off.

I lost a good part of my progress in mid-December due to an oversight on my part, but I eventually caught up.

So far, I've written the entire path of the Familiars and its various branches, added a little to the Plushie one and started the first scene of the one about Sirius.

This one is rich in branches and choices, but after having a fellow author read it, I know it's worth it.

I'm also continuing to polish up the old chapters and writing the Christmas special side story, which I'm thinking of charging for to be honest.

I've also decided that I won't be answering any more questions where Elianna and Ashlyen's names appear together and about how they're handling things with Mc. These questions have already been widely addressed and only serve to make me sullen and just want to either stop the whole thing or do a complete rewrite of the story, bypassing Mc's childhood.

I've also blocked Tumblr notifications as I found they were taking up too much space in my mind and I encourage anyone who might feel overwhelmed to do so if they wish.

Trying to explain why naming your new "Protectors of Cybertron" after a group of revolutionists took out one magnus and erased a good chunk of the planets history under the orders of another is a terrible idea.

With Sentinel being promoted to Magnus, a new head of elite guard had to be picked.

Jazz WOULD have been the next pick but with him dipping out to spend more time on Earth for who knows how long, the slots left open.

Only problem? None of the Elite Guard want it. Few were willing to work directly under Sentinel when he was the top Prime, but now as acting Magnus? Being at his beck and call 24/7 is a nightmare position- promotion be damned.

Elita ends up drawing the short straw here (she swears Warpath rigged it), and Sentinel was all for it. Besides her extreme competence, Elita's connections to Alpha Trion can help him keep the old rustbucket in line.

Their team up is a strangely effective one, despite the nonstop bickering.

Stimey: ohh, well, I think I know a fair amount. It's interesting I'm still me in all of your bodies, but also because I'm experiencing different things in each when I project my consciousness into different bodies I begin to feel different. Almost as though I'm becoming different people. Sometimes I wonder if I could become something vast and terrible. Maybe I could. But we'll never know, I suppose. What can I help you with?

Myrtle: I was just wondering if you could pass a message to Cheese? And tell him to give us a signal when to catch up with the group.

Stimey: [in Cheese's head] I hope I'm not interrupting you at a bad time Master Cheese, but --

Cheese: Aaah!! What?!

Stimey: Myrtle and Captain Jack were both wondering if there was a time for them to move in or somehow for them to join with the rest of you.

Cheese: yeah, I mean, I'll keep you up to date. I'll send you some messages when I know a little bit more. Thank you for checking in. Uh, don't use my eyes next time. Just use like, your voice. Not inside my eyes. Thank you.

Stimey: not inside your eyes? I can grab whichever of your senses that you like. I could make you taste a message or a feeling on your skin.

he's posing for photos and celebrating while wearing a hoodie that says "free our hostages" while ignoring the thousands of palestinians trapped in rafah and being held hostage in concentration camps.

he's posting videos and pictures having fun in israel while on that same land palestinians are being starved, abused, and murdered.

but it doesnt matter. because he's a white man. nothing matters to him.

there is something so,,, innately beautiful about her.

ariel reminds me of many things. of walking along the shoreline as the sun goes down, where it's just the sounds of the ocean. of giggling that only occurs between sisters. of candy that stains your mouth and tongue, yet you don't mind it all that much.

she's those types of hugs that fully envelope you, and you feel comforted with her hand on your back as her sweet voice rings in your ears.

halle is just. . . ethereal. we're so lucky to have her as ariel.
