When I see an animated films Im constantly sketching! I sketch what fascinates me.  I hope you enjoy my sketches even if they are on post-its. I later digitally sketch Sophie.
Howl’s Moving Castle is my favorite film by Miyazaki. I look up to Miyazaki for his grasp on character development, imaginative scenery and his ability to make the audience care for even the smallest detail.
I will be seeing Howl’s Moving Castle when it is re-released in theaters

Tumblr media
Info: 6 and over | 1h 59min | Director: Hayao Miyazaki Genre: Animation, Adventure, Family, Romance, Fantasy http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0347149/?ref_=nv_sr_1
A love story between an 18-year-old girl named Sophie, cursed by a witch into an old woman's body, and a magician named Howl. Under the curse, Sophie sets out to seek her fortune, which takes her to Howl's strange moving castle. In the castle, Sophie meets Howl's fire demon, named Karishifâ. Seeing that she is under a curse, the demon makes a deal with Sophie--if she breaks the contract he is under with Howl, then Karushifâ will lift the curse that Sophie is under, and she will return to her 18-year-old shape.
Main roles: Chieko Baishô – Sofî (voice) Takuya Kimura – Hauru (voice) Akihiro Miwa – Arechi no Majo (voice) Tatsuya Gashûin – Karushifâ (voice) Ryûnosuke Kamiki – Marukuru (voice)
My Rating: ✭✭✭✭✭ I’ll keep it short and simple this time: I really enjoyed this movie! One of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies so far! The story is really fun to experience and the characters are just so likable, I really can’t say anything bad about the movie. The animation is of course just as beautiful as the whole atmosphere of the movie! Really recommend checking out this one! :)
Trailer: (As always, watch at your own risk)
