      “  what  a  load  of  bullshit ! ”  yasmine  cannot  help  but  laugh  at  the  thought ,  finding  the  overly  neutral  sentiments  casted  during  the  speech  humorous .  there  didn’t  seem  to  be  a  point  to  the  diplomacy  when  there  seemed  to  be  a  side  of  the  room  that  knew  what  that  meant .  the  daily  prophet  has  always  seemed  to  prefer  a  certain  narrative  but  yasmine  would  have  never  assumed  rodolphus  lestrange  to  succumb  to  the  same  now  that  he’s  chief  warlock .  “ the  dark  mark  was  found  over  their  bodies  the  night  they  died ,  no  ?   then  there  had  to  be  a  reason  why  it  happened .  sometimes  it’s  just  better  to  not  talk  so  loud .”

       the  gentle  ache  in  teddy’s  knees  is  only  released  at  the  sound  of  the  front  door  opening , a  curiosity  to  see  who  the  unexpected  intruder  was .  it  had  been  from  the  kindness  of  his  wallet  that  he’d  volunteered  to  close  shop  for  the  night ,  practically  forcing  mina  to  leave  since  she’d  been  so  willing  to  work  the  memorial  days  ago .  it’s  eerily  quiet  this  late  at  night ,  with  the  occasional  tenant  causing  a sporadic  creak  on  the  floor  above .   “ we’re  closed  for  the  night ,”  teddy  finally  announces ,  leaning  his  weight  against  the  counter  until  he  catches  sight  of  arden .  he’d  seen  her  before ,  but  at  least  at  hogwarts  there  was  a  reason .   “ and  i  hardly  think  you’re  the  type  to  need  a  room  here .”

Connection and Plot Ideas

Quidditch bros - Whether these are teammates or mutual fans of Holyhead Harpies. Emma is unabashedly supportive of anyone involved in the sport, barring they don’t mention her own injuries.

@rvbvstn Rabastan Lestrange - The best boi who helped her get back to quidditch with some tough love. Unfortunately, given circumstances things only got tougher.

@ardenconway​ Arden Conway - They were closer back then. But this is now and Emma isn’t sure how to feel about Slytherin anymore

@regulustxt​ Regulus Black - For means to an end - meaning wanting to win the House Cup. She’ll take the best she can get and forget the rest

@mclfoyss Lucius Malfoy - Another situation of things being better in the past. Emma can’t bring herself to view housemates as friends. But a team-mate is a team-mate, even if she will ignore it for now. At least he believes it

Common Room Tension Emma is a halfblood, happy-go-lucky gal. Her relationship to some of her fellow Slytherins can be quite tense. She also just thinks they take themselves so seriously and think who they are.

Similar Soul - Emma is made up of joy at her roots, she is ambitious in such a way that she desires to see herself succeed as well as others. Sometimes this isn’t so clear because she does enjoy messing with people just a little bit. But this person sees that, knows that, and can enjoy it completely.

The beater who likely performed an illegal move -During the game, the bludger hit her in the rain, the move went unseen in the storm. Nobody could imagine where it came from through the stormy clouds. Maybe a stray shot? To this day, she does not know where the bludger came from.

Dolores Umbridge - Her reasons? Unknown. But it was a rainy game, stormy beyond belief. So nobody ever even knew…

Anti-Captain - As Emma is coming back as quidditch captain. This is someone highly supremacist who does not want her to reclaim that title. Depending on who this is, I could see it playing out a few ways. Maybe just rudeness, maybe sabotage. I’m open to anything.
