If it's not too much trouble (no pressure if you cant/dont wanna answer!), could i ask how you make your arcylic charms?? like the literal physical part, not necessarily the designs (as much as I love em). They're so cute (they live on my keychain together <3) and i'm interested in making little objects like charms/keychains with my own art but i am. so far. tragically unsuccessful... any tips for a newbie artist??? ty!!

Hi!! I love to get these asks and get to help others!!

Since I live in Japan, I mostly used Japanese manufactures like Otaclub and Corner Printing. I had used some international manufactures like Zap creatives and Vorgrace and i think vorgrace is a good place to start with cuz it’s cheaper and easier and they have a lot of options!!

All the processes are mostly same with any manufacturer, all you need is PNG file of your artwork(if you wanna make more fancy ones with gloss coating or smth you may need psd files!!)

Their site explains you pretty much everything so I recommend you to just go to their site and look up and see what’s gonna work for you!!

I personally love corner printing(i made all of my trobed charms and the gigantic losers club charm there) and they actually shipped to overseas but I don’t know how much shipping is gonna cost you😔 what I love the most about this manufacturer is that they have free-cut within A3 option for acrylic charms which you can put as many designs as you want within the range!!

If any of you are interested in manufactures in japan, I highly recommend them!!

I know making charms for the first time is kinda scary cuz you can’t really imagine what’s gonna be and worried what if it doesn’t turn out the way you wanted…but once you make it, it’s not intimidating anymore!! It’s always trial and error, the colors will look different from on your screen. Im still not sure how it’s gonna be every time i make ones. I’d say don’t use pastel colors much cuz most of the printers are not good at these pale colors!

Another thing I've learnt is a LOT of the phone cases made on temu are actually some of these girls leftover DIY projects. Which is why they're constantly running out.
