Well, now I'm curious about what solarpunk and greenwashing is, so if you feel like ranting about that, please absolutely do!!

Greenwashing is basically when companies fake being green or enviormentally friendly. For example, one really prevalent in new solarpunk people is buildings that are built to be gardens but the arctecture is unsustainible and it's all preformative. It's companies htat use vague wording and imagery to ive off the impression of being green or even just lie. Some places even make up their own things so they can put certified on the label of products when it means nothing.

Solarpunk is a movement heavily tied with the enviorment. It's not an aesthetic, something can't be punk without very heavy anti-capitalist message. It has some speculative fiction written about it that I really want to read. It's more optimistic about the future compared to other punk movements and more focused on what you as an individual can do. It's partially builds off of diy culture with heavy focus on the enviorment. The future is more foreseeable and it also really focuses on community. I'm not the most knowledgable on it considering I only finally went on a research spiral today but it's really cool and I find it awesome.
