*The air was slightly chilly, and the sun was setting over the horizon. Most restaurants, including Holloway's own, were closed by this hour. Thankfully, her destination was still open.*
*A large sign on the front of a building, with glowing letters and pictures, flickered slightly as Holloway approached. It read "Herb's Hog Haven" with a tiny graphic of a dead cartoon pig about to be roasted. The Pig was a bit in poor taste, with its X eyes, tied up hooves, and apple in its mouth.*
*The air outside the building had a strange aroma... meaty, but not like any pork Holloway had ever smelled.*

GHH!!
*Herb dove toward the nearest booth table the moment Holloway snapped her finger, taking as much cover as he possibly could. of course, it wasn't much. But as long as he doesn't get blasted to bits...*
*It burned like the fires of hell when it was done. The most pain he's felt in his life to this point he found feel the charring, the blood that spilled and boiled up on his skin. and yet he is alive, as he always is.*
GUUUHHHHH... HHH... HHFFF....
*He dragged himself to cellar through the rubble... He would live... His brother will come and hide him away. But he'd probably have hide out at the farm the rest of his days... that awful woman. He'd never forget what she did here today, for better and for worse.*

Hollowaaaaay.... do you think your the only one in town who's cheated death? Look at me! Ah'm six and a half feet of pure muscle, only eating TONS of fats and protein! I've got 2 permeant scars on my whole body when I work with animals and knives! I look 29 at 39!
*Herb picked up a kitchen knife but didn't try to attack Holloway, pacing as he talked, coming out from behind the counter while still keeping his distance as he circled around his restaurant's interior.*
You ain't gonna hurt me... because even if you do, even if you burn me to a damn CRISP, I'll recover... I can heal from anything damn near. My lord has blessed me, for the sacrifice of hundreds of our flesh... Blessed me with perfect health! I can heal from damn near AAANYTHING. So try it... cause i guarantee that you'll only make your life aloooooot worse...

Do I know what I've done? Hahahaha! I kill people, Holloway. I'm not some misunderstood cry baby or some puppeteered madman. I'm a businessman. I made a deal, and for it, I get what I wanted.
Do you think my lord makes me crave human meat? Hahah... nooo nooo noooooo.... I been this way since I was BORN!

*In a moment of frustration, herb bring his hand to his on throat. Choking himself hard enough to not get any words out.*
hh... hhhhhh.......
*Herb looked around now, for something to silence her... or... he could... he could... he could. Herb yanked up a pair of kitchen scissors, now staring Holloway in the eye while holding them to his own face, sticking his tongue out.*

. . . Heh, its exactly what the sign says! Pork, long pork to be specific.
*Herb flung one of the "pork" belly cubes, not even fully cooked, from his spatula. He caught it in his mouth to eat.*
Got a problem with my business, miss? Maybe you'd like to take it up with the supplier?
*Herb made it clear this wasn't a solo effort. Even if she has a way to get Herb, there was another. Of course, Herb was underestimating just what kind of person he was dealing with.*

. . . So you are here on business.
*Herb dropped the act immediately, but continued cooking as he spoke. His face was no longer friendly, rather it matched the rest of his body, tough looking, serious, dangerous.*
What do you think the secret ingredient is, miss?
*Herbs southern accent was much less noticeable now that he wasn't playing it up*

*Herb seemed to jolt just a bit, as if feeling something*
Hmm?
*He looked right at Miss Holloway now, trying to figure out why he felt.... something? Yeah, something. Something he couldn't quite understand what was.*

*He sat the soda bottle down infront of her, now turning to get the pork belly, getting it in the pan and on a burner. The smell of the cooking meat was putrid when you knew what you were smelling, and Holloway wasn't stupid.*
Beautiful night out ah? Nice weather.

*Herb picked up a different bottle cap off the back counter with his pinky when he set the pork belly down, and flipped the cap through his fingers to his thumb and pushed the cap against the unopened cap of the soda bottle, popping it right off.*
Haha! Always works!
*Unbeknownst to Herb, Miss Holloway was getting a look at the place, both physically, and at the energy. She could feel something, a normal back room. But also something lower, a cellar. And this place... this whole building... The energies were nothing short of terrifying. People have died here.... a lot of people have died here*

Cherry, nice, great flavor!
*Herb kept up his chipper, always talking act. He's the "big friendly grill guy" after all. He turned on his heel, managing to adjust his pig-pink apron with one hand like its nothing. He went to the fridge he had set up in the front, just behind the counter. taking out already prepped pork belly cubes, ready to be pan fried and glazed. He also grabbed a glass bottle of cherry soda, one of the nice kinds, with the metal cap.*
Care t' see a trick? I can open this bottle myself, no teeth, just one tool.
*Herb always liked to do little tricks and such. entertained customers, got people to see him as a silly, friendly guy.*

*Herb reaches under the counter, pulling out a menu and passing it over the counter to her. It was well made, pink with red accenting, with drawings of pigs in the empty spaces. all of the dishes were large portions of "pork" based dishes*
Ah always recommend th' Honey glazed pork belly, it's gotta real good flavor...
*To say Herb seemed suspicious of Miss Holloway's presence was an understatement. He kept up his happy "big sweet country boy" demeanor, but his eyes told a different story as he stared at her, looking her up and down as if trying to figure out why the hell she'd come here. He hadn't met her yet, but it seemed he knew exactly who she was, or at least, what she was all about*

*When she stepped inside, she could hear whistling, and the sounds of metal utensils clinking around. A cowbell hung over the door announced her enterance.*
*There was a man behind the long bar style counter, a tall man with a hot pink strip in his tied back hair, and only one arm. He turned around, showing eyes and a goatee that matched the color of his highlight*
Aaah a late day eater? Come in, come in! Gimme just a sec. I'll get you a menu in a seco-
*Herb turned fully now, enough to see Holloway, and kinda paused for a sec. Before setting down the utensils he was organizing. His expression spelled out both recognition and confusion.*
Actually. Get sat down. I think I can get you a menu quick...
