Happy Father's Day H!

Of all the titles he's ever held, the best is clearly the one of Archie and Lili's Papa.

LOL. There is an article about the supposed birthday party held for the girl this past weekend. While discussing L's first birthday and Christening, it's another article that is filled with vaguely worded sentences like "It is understood" and "Those who were said to be in attendance" because there is no actual proof that anyone from Harry's family had anything to do with any of it. They also like to hint that the Spencers are very involved with the kids, as if they're flying out to CA on the regular with no one noticing. It's one of the many reasons they keep things with the kids "private" because the more they talk about them the more everyone can see how sad it is that the best they can manage is to have Misan and a bunch of acquaintance show up for their events.

My theory is that People Magazine became aware there was a party of some kind at Montecito Mansion but that's all they could confirm.

Because how on earth are Harry and Meghan using their kids' titles in daily life out there in California? Do you think they've instructed the schools to call them Prince Archie and Princess Lili? (George, Charlotte, and Louis don't use their titles at school.) Do they get birthday party invitations addressed to Prince Archie and Princess Lili? Does Meghan call them to dinner as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Diana? Do they write Prince Archie and Princess Lili on their Christmas presents?

Did Harry upgrade his padfolio to say Prince Archie's Papa?

I mean, these are important questions. The public deserves to know!

Also, People Magazine confirmed today that Harry and Meghan weren't invited to Trooping and will not be going. (Archived Link) This makes me think it'll be the smaller balcony we've seen the last few years since they're not making a fuss about it.

What two year old knows about jobs and the future 🤣 It’s obvious nannies raise Archie and Lili 24/7 with no input from Papa and Momma. No doubt somewhere else too as if you’re around the nannies and the kids in the same house you know what happens or are told by the nannies

I hope Archie does grow up to be an astronaut, but that that age all kids want to be one. Sadly for Archie his father was barely smart enough to finish high school without cheating on his exams.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aka Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, on Thursday shared the first image of their daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, in a family portrait featured on their official Christmas card.

The photo shows the family of four laughing as Meghan holds her daughter in her arms. Six-month-old Lilibet, nicknamed "Lili," is the Sussexes' second child. Their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born May 6, 2019. As the Christmas card photo shows, Archie has inherited his father's distinctive red hair.

A/N: It took me a while to finish this but I finally got it done!

“Do we have everything?” Nic asked as she squeezed sunscreen onto her hand. She dabbed her finger in the sunscreen and started to gently rub it on Bella’s face. Bella scrunched up her nose.

“Mama!” She whined.

“I don’t like it either, Bella, but sunscreen is important,” Nic told her as she rubbed more sunscreen on her cheeks. As she finished putting sunscreen on Bella, Archie stood checking the bag.

“I think so,” he said.

“Food and drinks?”

“In the cooler.”

“Towels?”

“In the bag.”

“Lily’s water-wings?”

“All packed.”

“What about–”

“Honeybun, everything is there.” Archie reassured her as he took the bottle of sunscreen.

Nic sighed. “I just want to make sure everything’s ready.” She stood up and took the bottle from him. “Now let me put sunscreen on you.”

“I can do that myself,” he said but allowed her to do it anyway.

“Nu-uh, I’m doing it. I’m not letting anyone in this family get sunburned.” She told him as she squeezed sunscreen onto her hand. “Besides, I get an excuse to touch you this way,” she teased as she rubbed the sunscreen on his back. “Fifteen years and the sight of you shirtless still makes me blush.”

“You guys are so gross,” Ichabod complained from where he stood by the front door. “You better not kiss.”

Nic and Archie shook their heads with amused smiles and she continued to apply the sunscreen on him. Once she was done, she started to apply sunscreen on herself. Archie helped her with her back, and once everyone had their sunscreen on, they left for the pool.

When they entered the pool area, Ichabod and Bella took off towards the pool. Nic let out an exasperated sigh as she readjusted Lily in her arms.

“No running!” She reminded them. Ichabod jumped into the pool while his sister slowed down. Nic shook her head and set the pool bag on a chair. “I’ll get Lily in the water, do you mind setting up?”

Archie shook his head. “Of course not. I’ll join you and the kids soon.”

Nic set Lily down for a moment and pulled off her shirt to reveal her bathing suit underneath. She tossed it onto one of the chairs Archie picked and took Lily on her arms again.

“The water is gonna be cold, Lily-bear, but I’m gonna help you get used to it.” Nic told her as she walked down the steps slowly into the shallow end of the pool. She cupped a little water in her hand and splashed it on Lily’s legs. Lily whined at the cold water. “I know, but you’ll get used to it.”

Icha and Bella were already having fun with splashing water at each other and playing with other kids. It wasn’t long until Archie joined them in the pool. Bella and Icha insisted he play with them, and while Nic was invested in her time with Lily, she couldn’t help but stare at her husband every so often.

Icha had swam off a while ago and spotted some family friends. Archie continued to play with Bella while Icha went off on his own.

“Killian!” Icha called as he swam over to the pirate.

“Ichabod, here with your family?” Killian asked. Icha stood in front of him grinning and nodding.

“Yeah! And I’ve been practicing holding my breath underwater! Wanna see?”

Killian chuckled. “Of course.”

Ichabod took a deep breath and jumped under water, sitting on the pool floor. He sat there for about a minute before he came back up. “See! It’s a lot longer than I could do before!”

“I’m impressed,” Killian told him. Icha beamed at that. But before he could reply, a figure jumped from the water behind Killian and grabbed his shoulders, dunking him underwater.

“Hi Tricks!” Ichabod greeted.

“Oh hey Icha,” Tricks gave him a small wave. “Having fun at the pool?”

“Lots! I pushed Bella underwater earlier and she made her mad face. It was hilarious.”

Killian came up from the water and took a deep breath. “Bloody hell, love! Warn a pirate next time.”

Tricks laughed and flicked water at him. “It was meant to be a surprise.”

“I’m going to get you,” Killian said.

“Gotta catch me first,” Tricks teased before disappearing underwater.

“Sorry to cut the chat short, but I have to go catch Tricks,” Killian told Ichabod then swam off.

Ichabod watched Killian leave before swimming back to his sister and father. Bella and Icha played some more in the pool for the next few hours, laughing and grinning as they splashed each other. When it got close to noon, Nic decided it was time for a break and to eat.

“Kids, lunch time,” Nic called from the pool chair. Lily sat at the end of the chair happily eating her dragon shaped peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich. Bella and Ichabod quickly got out of the pool and rushed over to the chairs. Archie trailed behind them as he reminded them to not run. Nic pulled the sandwiches out of the cooler. She handed a peanut butter and banana sandwich to Ichabod, and a peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich to Bella. The two stood there eating their sandwiches as Archie joined them. Nic handed him a BLT sandwich before grabbing her own. “Don’t forget to drink some water. Stay hydrated,” she said to them.

“Are you kids having fun?” Archie asked.

Ichabod and Bella nodded vigorously. “So much!” Bella told him.

“Can we do this again?” Ichabod asked as he took a final bite of his sandwich. He picked up a bag of apple slices that Nic had brought. “Can Hope come next time?”

Nic and Archie looked at each other before nodding to him. “I’m sure Emma and Neal wouldn’t mind.” Archie said.

“Mom, did you pack any raisins?” Bella asked, looking through the pool bag for her favorite snack.

“Not this time, but there should be some grapes in the cooler.” Nic took the cooler and rummaged through it before pulling out a small Tupperware container of grapes and handing it to Bella. Nic also took out a bottle of water and handed it to her. “Drink.”

“Juice!” Lily exclaimed as she looked inside the cooler. She grabbed a small bottle of apple juice and tried to open it.

“I’ll get that for you, Lily-bear,” Archie told her. He reached over and took the bottle from her before handing it back, lid unscrewed. “There you go.”

“T’ank you, papa,” Lily said before drinking her juice.

“Before we get back in the pool I want to apply sunscreen to all of you again,” Nic told her family as she finished her sandwich. Bella and Icha both groaned at the mention of sunscreen. “It’s for your protection.”

After they had all finished eating and waited a bit before going back into the pool, Nic and Archie reapplied sunscreen to the kids. Lily whined and pouted the whole time Nic applied sunscreen to her, and Bella didn’t seem as happy either. Icha had already gotten back in the pool when he was finished, and Archie helped with reapplying Nic’s own sunscreen. She was about to apply some to her husband’s back when they realized they couldn’t find Ichabod.

“Where did he go?” Nic asked, a mix of worry and frustration in her voice.

“I’ll find him. He’s probably in the deep end again,” Archie said, already making his way towards the pool.

“When you find him, don’t forget to come back so I can put some sunscreen on your back,” Nic said.

Nic got back in the pool with Lily, who had her floaties on this time. Bella went back to playing with some kids in the pool while Archie kept his eye on Ichabod. Icha had spent nearly the entire time at the pool trying to hold his breath longer, and it worried Nic a little that something might happen. But she trusted Archie to keep his eye on their son.

It had been a few hours, nearing the 3pm mark, when Lily started to doze off. She spent her time splashing in the water while Nic held her, and pointing at people in the pool. Her head rested on Nic’s shoulder as she sat on the edge of the pool and watched Ichabod and Bella tackle Archie further into the pool. She noted, however, the sluggish movement in her children’s bodies and figured they were getting tired as well. Nic got out of the pool and walked over to the side where Archie was at with their oldest children.

“I think it’s time to go home,” she said quietly. “Lily fell asleep about five minutes ago, and it looks like the others are getting tired too.”

Archie looked back at the kids before nodding. “I think that’s a good idea.”

Nic walked back over to their chairs to dry off Lily and herself while Archie gathered Bella and Icha. Once everyone was dried off and packed up, towels were put on the seats of the car before they headed home for the evening. Lily was still asleep in her mother’s arms when they got home.

“Bella, Icha, how about you two take your showers first while your dad and I unpack, okay?” Nic said to the kids.

Bella and Icha nodded before rushing upstairs to grab their pajamas and argue over who got to use their parents’ bathroom. Once their showers were done, Nic took Lily upstairs to give her a bath and get the smell of chlorine off her hair and skin. The three year old whined when she was woken up to bathe, and Nic promised that it wouldn’t be long. Lily’s sleepiness proved to be stronger, though. As soon as Nic finished putting Lily in her favorite dragon onesie, Lily was asleep again. Nic carried her to the room she shared with Bella and put her in bed. Lily clutched onto her blanket and stayed sound asleep as her mother crept out of the room. Nic was in the process of taking off her bathing suit to take a shower when Archie stepped into their bathroom.

“Bella and Icha fell asleep on the couch downstairs,” he told her quietly. Nic hummed in response as she stuck her hand in to test the shower’s temperature. “Do you mind if I join you?”

Her face grew bright red at his question. “Not at all.” He leaned over to kiss her cheek before pulling off his t-shirt and swim trunks. As he stepped past her to get into the shower, Nic’s eyes widened.

“Oh Archie,” she shook her head. “We forgot to put sunscreen on your back.”

Archie let out a hiss in pain as Nic rubbed aloe Vera onto the sunburn on his back. She recoiled from him and gave him a look of concern.

“Sorry, I’m sorry. I’m trying to not hurt you,” she mumbled as she gently went back to rubbing the cream on his back.

“It’s okay, honeybun, I know.” He said. “How bad is it?”

“Let’s just say this: it’s as red as your hair.” She told him before applying more aloe. “And this is why I’m so adamant about sunscreen. You and the kids all have such fair skin.”

“At least it was me and not one of the kids,” he said.

“You’re probably going to have to sleep on your stomach for a while,” Nic finished rubbing in the lotion. “And you’ll probably be sore.”

He nodded and slowly pulled on his nightshirt. “I’ll heal.”

Nic nodded in agreement and washed the lotion off her hands. “There’s one thing though.” He raised a brow at her statement, waiting for her to continue her thought. When she finished drying off her hands, Nic started to leave the bathroom. As she did, she smacked his butt. “At least your butt wasn’t burned so I can still do that.” Archie’s face reddened as he watched her walk away.
