To make up for the lack of history-focused art, here are a few pictures from Malmö castle, a small Swedish castle that is fairly hidden by museums. It houses a very cozy collection of objects, along with this lovely hall. I really love the skyline view!

"I plunge to my death" was so good! Grover grumpy if he doesn't get enough sleep. Froofy. Annabeth opening up about Thalia. The Chihuahua running down the train. Annabeth stabbed the chimera with her dagger. Grover not liking the skulls in the museum part of the arch and Percy knowing why. Annabeth talking about how cool the arch is archeticturally. Percabeth bonding and then he collapsed on her. Percy still isn't skilled enough to really fight a monster and win. Not on purpose. He rolled away from the chimera's fire, but without the river he would have died. It's refreshing to see a kid who's been thrust into this new world and he's not. good. at. it. He shouldn't be! I love how the river just grabbed him out of the air. And the nereid. She sounded like sally and told percy to breathe. and the look on his face when he realized he could breathe underwater!!`

Watching osp on Mirage claim Baghdad couldn't have certain things like African art or Persian tiles and yes they could have ??? What is this obsession with thinking ancient cultures only built their own things. Baghdad was a famous culutral capital. Vikings traveled there. The swahili coast definitely had trade routes out of Africa up to there. It's Absurd logic to say it is absolutely ahistorical for there to be non Abbasids archeticture in a cosmopolitan world center

Faerie Masterpost

The Tunnel of Dewshine was, although his first introduction to Faerie archeticture, pretty beautiful and otherworldly. That Kit had to admit. There was a part of him that wanted to soak up every little detail, wish he had the same curious gaze as Ty. Because Faerie, was supposed to be his, right? The green walls that were illuminating a very warm yet eerie lighting, those were his. This was all part of his kingdom, the place he was about to enter for the very first time. Kit felt himself grow more anxious about it. Ty didn't looked that much better either, Kit could see from looking at him that he was tense. Honestly, Dru was the most relaxed. The stone path underneath their feet had been placed with care, in a similar manner as mundanes constructed their roads, but the stones themselves were clearly not of the mundane world either. It glittered like goldstone and of a green shade darker then the luminous walls. They were slightly slippery and Kit couldn't help but think that, considering the tunnel's name, the origin of the water being dew. Dru nearly slipped because of it as they turnt a corner, and she gave a small squeak that echoed through the tunnel. Kit carefully stepped closer to the two siblings. "Be careful." He whispered as he tried not to notice the way his heart raced when he and Ty made eye contact. He decided to walk in front of them, being a little more careful footed then they were. Two years of living in rainy England had taught Kit a lot about walking on wet stones. There was nothing but the sound of footsteps for a while, and Kit went back to studying the mysterious beauty of a world promised to him, the beautiful vines that had begun about a meter ago, indicating they were close to the entrance. Kit had never seen veins in such a shiny teal before, its leafs were bright blue like the crystal lakes of Finland, at least, according to this magazine he had read about Europe's nature once. Kit could see the light was especially vibrant at the corner before the turn, and as his head whipped around the corner, he could make out a forest in the distance. He made a gesture to Ty and Dru to wait. "We're there, aren't we?" Ty whispered softly as he approached Kit, who nodded back at him. Dru inhaled deeply, "Okay, what do we do next?" "I think I should summon Livvy before we enter Faerie, see what she has learnt. She should sense we're close." Ty said, thinking of his sister. "That's a good idea." Ty focused on Livvy and it only took a matter of seconds before he felt like the rope that was stretched out from his very soul was pulled back, and like a breath of air, his sister appeared before them. "Good timing, I just figured out why the pink goblin outright dares to smuggle Jaime food behind the queen's back." Livvy's voice was so strange in comparison to their own as hers did not echo in the slightest, another tiny reminder she was dead. Another was Dru, who could not see her at all and just looked at the spot Ty and Kit were gazing at. "Alright, what does the pink goblin want?" Ty asked in a hushed voiced. "Fame, it seems she aspires to become an actresss. Like, she's aware between the difference of TV and movies, so I bet she dreams of an opportunity in Hollywood." Ty and Kit both looked a little flabbergasted at that, because this was a first. However, it was something they could use to their advantage. "So if she wants to become a star in Hollywood, all we have to do is ask her to help us break Jaime out and in exchange we will take her back to the L.A Institute with us where she will be under witness protection." Dru frowned at those words and Livvy nodded. "Exactly." "Okay, we've got a plan, let's go. Livvy, please take us to the area her brother was located at. She must live nearby." Livvy hummed and guided them from the tunnel into the luscious forest of Faerie, where birds they never heard before chirped in the leaves, where fruit Kit only had seen on Shadow Markets, grew fresh from the trees.

/ for a long time xaos' story has been a larges strokes just talk abt the bigger ideas thing but recently ive started actual writing it all out. this has got me thinking abt the visuals of the world, and most notably shizawa. thinking very much ancient japanese archeticture but mixed with some neon lights cyberpunk influence thrown in there. something like overwatch's kanezaka but with both more neon and more grit to its vibe

what designs of building do you like? does your taste in visual art inform your taste in architecture?

Honestly i dont think much about architecture. Id say i like messy sprawling cityscapes like Tsukimiz does but i dont know if that counts as archeticture

The children follow along behind Syltyr. They marvel at the impressive archeticture. It was like back home, but made of a different stone. They wonder if this is where Reyna got the idea for taller buildings Arx based on stone still. Either way, they continue until they reach the bakery.

Immediately the children's mouth water at the sight of such treats. It smelt amazing, much like the ones enjoyed back home. Slane tries to show restraint though.

"I-I don't know. I wouldn't wish to spoil my appetite before we return home." Slane ponders.

"Just give him a honey glazed ball of rice! He always gets nervous about taking treats, but he really wants one! Anyway, I'll take a pie! Whole pie, not a slice!" Rezna exclaims excitedly. Slane looks embarrassed, his brothers did know him well.

"Umm...a fruit tart or two, would be nice. No particular flavor, just whatever you think looks good." Leni asks.

"Mmm...cake. Chantille cake if you have it. If not, a simple white cake slice will suffice." Pendro says, sounding like a connoisseur for this type of food.

Slane hummed. "It is like Lohse. I believe next time we visit, she should come see Marissa. I think the two would be able to get along quiet well." He thought aloud. Lohse was the Bard of Demons and Spirits after all. With her help, he thinks that Marissa could perform for a live audience again. At least, beyond just those that can see and hear spirits.

"I wanna see her sing! I wanna know if it's like Lohse too!" Rezna exclaims excitedly.

"I wouldn't mind. I think hearing her would be nice." Leni says. He thinks it'd be a nice bit of relaxation after the ordeal they endured just now.

"Sounds good." Pendro ascents, looking forward to some relaxing time.

With that all decided, they follow Syltyr to look for Ghost.
