yes cas just being a regular angel is important and i do love that he wasn't meant to be anyone special but. i also do very much enjoy entertaining the idea that cas was a failed archangel. cas being one of the first angels created, originally favored by god. up there with michael and lucifer. god's big three. then lucifer fell for not caring about humans at all. for thinking he knew better than god. for wanting to be daddy's favorite. then cas started caring too much about humans. he nearly killed the fish that would become them, while walking on the young earth with his fellow archangel brother. and from then on he began watching a little more closely than the others. he became invested in their survival. in their success. he began to take issue with god's plans and god's word when he'd order disaster and destruction to strike. so cas began rebelling, interfering. and as an archangel, that was dangerous. so he got demoted. stripped down. memories wiped. again and again and again til he forgot who he once was entirely. but he still felt a pull to the other archangels. still felt closer to them than any regular old angel should. and most of the lower angels don't know. it was easy to make them all forget. the archangels, maybe they remember. and naomi, the one tasked with reprogramming. she remembers, and that's part of why she fears him and is intimidated by him and needs to keep him in line. he can't ever know what he once was. he can't ever remember.

Like what do you mean they didn’t get a chance to drunkly sing karaoke whilst Sam cringed at his brother and boyfriend and Cas just sat there not really sure how to react?

Of course they did, and they fucking smashed it.

(Gabriel fell off the stage before the song finished and Dean absolutely lost it and laughed so hard he got a stitch, they were dragged out by their boyfriends.)

There been an arranged marriage fic yet, where Dean and Michael are supposed to marry each other, but Dean falls in love with Castiel and Michael falls in love with Adam?

I think it'd be funny if everyone was like "Oh, yeah, Dean and that boy Castiel, they're definitely a thing. I wonder if Michael knows," meanwhile fucking no one suspects Michael and Adam, despite the fact that they're not exactly subtle.

archangel castiel tho. who rebelled too many times and was too powerful so he was lobotomized to forget he's an archangel and had some of his grace removed to make him less powerful.

Cas doesn’t trust any animals that Gabriel was allowed to make or add to.

His reasoning? He doesn’t need one, there is no doubt in his mind that Gabriel’s brotherly torment will follow him around earth.

Thing is no one believes him, I mean why would they? So when they take him to the zoo they don’t really consider his concerns as, well, concerns.

“I don’t think an anteater can glare at you, I’m sure it’s just hungry.”

“Cas the porcupine wasn’t aiming for you.”

“I’m sure the platypus normally purrs and follows people as they walk past the enclosure.”

“I don’t think a parrot shouting feather brain at you repeatedly means anything, people probably call it that all the time.”

This kept happening until a giraffe straight up licks Cas’ head and not even Dean can give a reasonable explanation because it is odd that all the animals that Gabriel is constantly bragging about are terrorising Cas specifically.

Safe to say that Cas refuses to go to the zoo again and Gabriel finds it absolutely hilarious because he really didn’t have anything to do with it, and it’s probably just the fact Cas is an Angel, but obviously as a trickster he’s gonna take full credit for it.

omg so i watched the season 6 finale of spn last night and whattttt

i’m actually going insane.

my thoughts:

1. CAS IS GOD??!?!

2. dean was so scared 😥😭

3. sam getting through his mind after the walk broke was actually insane but rlly cool to watch!!

4. crowley and cas’s whole thing was so messy and ngl hard to completely follow so there are def things i missed (but still VERY entertaining)

5. raphael was getting on my nerves anyways so buh bye bitch 🤣

6. destiel was showingggg
