Golden Trio + Silver Trio (+Myrtle) 

I downloaded Harry Potter sims! I’ve given them makeovers with CC I’ve been collecting, but I did not make these sims myself! Sim credits under the cut: 

Ron is from “Weasley family” by Mikka3 on the gallery! 

Ginny is also on the gallery, her household name is “Ginny weasley” by Lasanie4 

For Ron and Ginny I looked for Gallery versions that I think look more like how I envision these characters based on the book descriptions. I was never a fan of the casting choice for them. They need to be 10% cooler. 

All the other characters I found are based on the actors, though! I was happy with the rest of the movie casting~♡ 

Hermoine is by SirSIM on the gallery, her household name is “Hermione Granger Wizard” 

i changed her hair to be one of the super curly ones from island living 

“Moaning Myrtle” is from the gallery as well, she’s made by TheSimEmporium 

And she’s my favorite minor character! When I was a kid I dressed up as her to go to the Midnight Book Release Party at Borders for Order of the Phoenix! 🤓  i had recently gotten glasses that year... 😅

You should also check out Kamiiri’s Sim Collection, she has a lot of pop culture & celebrity sims and they look so realistic while still being Maxis Match! Her sims are just the best! The only reason I didn’t download more of hers instead of gallery finds is just ‘cuz I don’t like stuffing my game with tons of sliders. But it was def. worth the CC explosion for Luna! She’s my #1 favorite character! 💖

I joined Round 2 of the @mixed-up-writer-fest! Participants are assigned a partner and given a prompt; we can plan small things but aren’t allowed to plot. So strap in for a wild ride!

Prompt: Sirius has a big ol' crush on Remus, but despite his tough/cocky reputation, has no idea how to go about asking out this God of a person and stutters every time he is around Remus. Enter James, Sirius's best friend and ultimate wingman, who takes his job VERY seriously and thinks he is being subtle. Remus however, has double the brain cells of Sirius and James combined and knows what's going on. Remus thinks all of this is adorably sweet of James and it's working.... except he's falling for Sirius and James.

Excerpt:

Opening the door, the aroma of roasted coffee beans enveloped him like a warm and fluffy blanket. Sirius deeply breathed into his lungs the promise of wakefulness in the rich and exquisite scent and strode toward the counter.

He studied the menu and glanced at the pastries on display as the couple ahead of him placed their orders. The barista bustled around and the sound of the bean grinder played backup to the folk-rock filtering through the sound system.

When it was his turn, Sirius hitched up his backpack slung over one shoulder, stepped up to the counter and… froze. All thoughts of his grande white mocha and blueberry scone floated away on the breeze of an acoustic guitar. They were replaced by piercing amber eyes regarding him from under sweeping eyelashes and a mess of perfectly-touseled, sandy brown hair.

In a tone much too chipper for 7:45 am, the barista smiled and asked, “How can I help you?”

Oh. God.

For our theme I was inspired by the fairy tale beauty and the beast. I know 4 versions of this film. The cartoon, the movie made by the same studio as the cartoon. The French version of Jean Cocteau. And to finish the French version with vincent cassel and lea seydou. find in this set, a nod to these 4 films.
