Hi I asked this before but I didn’t include the chapters. In chapter 588 and 589, Hancock proposes/insinuates that she wants to be Luffy’s wife. Does he say he won’t marry her or marry in general?

japanese sentences very often omit the subject when it's obvious from context. he just says 結婚はしねぇ/kekkon wa shinē, which is just "i'm not marrying", but since in context it's in response to hancock saying she'd make a great wife, it can also be correctly be translated as "i'm not marrying (you)."

When I think about it, the last time Zoro and Sanji saw each other was at the beginning of Dressrosa. They go nearly 200 episodes before they see each other again in Wano. (I'm still in Whole Cake so idk when they even see each other again, could be 300 episodes for all I fuckin know).

The last time they saw each other, Sanji bailed on Zoro for Viola, and they haven't talked since. I can't help but imagine Zoro being pissed off about that fact, then get to Zou just to hear that Sanji bailed on them (him) AGAIN for a DIFFERENT WOMAN. If I were Zoro, I'd be pissed too and tell everyone that they're better off without him.

Also have a headcanon that Zoro rebounds with Law while Sanji is absent because he's pissed and needs to get his frustration out somehow, so who better than the only other cool swordsman around? Still though, Law's just a bit too cool and collected for Zoro and Zoro misses fighting (and making out) with the idiot cook, though he'll never admit it because the stupid swordsman doesn't ever admit SHIT

Was thinking about the fantasy au again & I couldn’t decide between having the “someone gets arrested” side story be nene+tsk or rui+tsk but I decided on the latter just because the image of akito not only dealing with the insult that the very impressive knights academy upperclassman had zero idea who he was but also having to sit there with an while rks are doing a pandemonium chapter 8-esque talk is so fucking funny to me. They don’t even stay arrested either touya shows up and is like oh it’s tsukasa senpai my friend tsukasa senpai :) why are you in jail? Akito let them out of jail (an is laughing at him).

so, like... do you think Sorata is actually pushing to swap the main couple in AnS to Obi and Shirayuki? I know that being in this corner of the fandom imparts some bias and that ships don't have to be canon to be good, but Shirayuki and Zen have seen each other, what, twice in the past 50 chapters? It doesn't really seem like she's terribly interested in maintaining their dynamic.

It has been forever since I had the chance to dig into my asks, so let the record show, this ask came to me pre-ch 136, and I'm glad I sat on it because I think I would have given a much more equivocal response in August, and now I'm like:

Btw I just love the platonic physical affection between the ninjas we've been seeing. Like how they hug each other and shoulder pats and hold hands for comfort etc. It's just so nice seeing very close platonic affection like that in a cartoon.
