Official confirmed: Israel got The List.

In the next few days, we'll find out how many survived. And how many families will have to say Kadish.

Apperently, Arbel would be released by Thursday, alongside 2 other kidnapped (current assumptions are Agam Berger and Keith Segal.)

And there will be another exchange on Saturday, of another 3 kidnapped.

As part of the agreements, residents could come back to northern Gaza tomorrow morning.

On a less optimistic note:

We don't have any official information about the Bibas kids or their mother.

HAMAS has claimed, months ago, that they were killed. But Hamas also claimed other people are dead. Like Danielle- and she had been released last Saturday, so this is all unclear.

This is Dolev Yahud.

He was a volunteer paramedic, and a father of 3. On Oct 7, he left his family in the bomb shelter, and went out to try and help others. There was no sign of him since then. Because it was known that his sister Arbel and her partner were kidnapped to Gaza, because his communication device's signal was picked up in Gaza, and because there was no indication he'd been killed, he was also believed to have been taken hostage. Now, almost 8 months since the attack, doing repeated DNA tests, it was possible to determine that he was murdered during the massacre, and his remains are in Israel. This says a lot about the efforts our state is still making, over half an year into this war, to identify the dead, and just how badly the terrorists treated their victims, to make bodies this hard to identify. His family can finally get closure. May his memory be a blessing.

We also got confirmation that four Israeli hostages, who had been previously seen in Hamas propaganda videos, had been killed in captivity. All of them are older men. In the case of at least one, it was pretty clear that Hamas was releasing the footage as a set up to let Israelis known that Nadav had been killed in captivity (but it took until now for the army to find evidence confirming Hamas' claim).

This means we know there are 124 hostages in Gaza, out of them at least 43 (a little more than a third) are confirmed dead, their bodies still being kept in captivity, and 81 at most are still alive. They ALL deserve to be freed.

And while all this is going on, Hezbollah rocket attacks yesterday on Israel's north, setting trees on fire, spread and for about 20 hours, this region was literally burning down to the ground. It's estimated that about 2,500 acres of Israel's land were burned. There are forests which have only started recovering from the last time Hezbollah burned them down during the Second Lebanon War in 2006 (it took 18 years for them to recover!) and now they're being burned down again... Thankfully, only 11 people were injured in the fires (I say "only" because we've seen similar fires kill more than 4 times as many, never mind the wounded), to a great degree thanks to how many Israelis have been evacuated away. But think of what it means, that for 8 months Islamist terrorists have necessitated the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of Israelis to keep them safe, while entire sections of this country are being continuously destroyed, and there's no end in sight.

I heard a TV reporter mention that his cameraman was watching the live CCTV feed from his home, showing his and his parents' house in the city of Kiryat Shmona as it was being burned down, and he couldn't do anything other than just watch...
