im outside of venezuela btw this is the only reason i can post as openly... if i was there maybe i would be in jail or dead or missing by posting one single thing against the government or someone ratting me out, or dying from hunger or sickness, maybe i would've died long time ago in another protest, or maybe i wouldve been tortured or taunted or r*ped or seen so much i could not live with it anymore ...its hard to think it can happen to you a lot of people would think im dramatic but technically? it could've happened to me. I think about this almost every day or every time i complain about something where i live and how there are so many others going through it rn.

Hey, I hope you don't mind my asking, but does your name have anything to do with apa, the american psychological association and a citation style?

Hiiiii, I don't mind it at all no worries! APA mates would be a cute name tbh but it's actually just referencing the apamate tree! (I think they're also known as pink poui?). My favorite citing format is APA but it still pained me to organize info for papers when I was in school so it has been erased from my mind.

where I'm from there's also a yellow tree called araguaney and I know other countries have the jacaranda. fun fact! they're in the same family of Bignoniaceae c:
