Summer 2023 Wig Updates: North American Productions
Tumblr media
The Canadian production has officially opened! I'll do a more in-depth look at all of the wigs later this week, but a few quick updates worthy of note: - Julia Pulo doesn't have any major changes to the base style, but we're finally getting to see a North American Boleyn with curls!! - Krystal HernĂĄndez got the red ponytail braid style for Cleves. It has some changes to the specific style, which I'll go into more detail about this week. - Lauren Mariasoosay has the back ponytail that's becoming an alternative standardized style. Hers has a very different base than any of the UK and most of the prior North American Parr wigs in this style, but it definitely fits the general category of the back center ponytail. Again, comparison post coming soon. - We've also seen a few of the alts' hairstyles! So far everything has been as expected, but it does answer one of the big questions I've had: what hair color they'd give Darcy Stewart. She might not get the same color for all three of her queens, but at least for Boleyn they went for a light blonde that reads more strawberry blonde under stage lights.
Tumblr media
Over in the Broadway and North American Tour... - Khaila Wilcoxon joined Broadway as a temporary replacement for Aragon. She's still wearing her wig from the Aragon Tour. - And Sydney Parra got the back ponytail style about a week ago, which we've seen slowly become standardized for non-Black actors. It might be her old wig re-styled but I'm waiting on better photos to confirm that. The styling seems to be more in line with Lauren Mariasoosay's wig than some of the past in this style, but again I'm waiting for better photos.

Note
which six wigs from current productions are most different from each other for each role?
This depends on so many things. The wigs have to follow a certain style for each character and how different they can be from each other varies a lot between characters. Lenght, volume, styling, cut, color, hairtype, how much standarization there is. All affect the final look
I think it is:
Aragon: Aragon tour. This one is weird because both UK companies have very different styles for the principal and alternate, but all other alts and swings have almost identical styles. Broadway and Boleyn tour change lenght, volume and hairtype but styling is overall the same. Aragon tour has simmilar curl type for Kahlia, Kelly and Kelsee but a very distinct styling for each one plus marilyn who does have a simmilar styling to Kelsee but completely different hair type.
Tumblr media
Boleyn: Broadway. Leandra makes them win this one on her own, but also Ayla has a different cut than Aubrey and Marilyn (and obviously a different hair type too).
Tumblr media
Seymour: Aragon tour. For ANAT all three of them have different lenght, style and curls; both before and after Kelly and Kelsee got new wigs (and thats not even counting kelsee's ginger wig). I feel like WE and UKT should be in here too because both have very distinct styles for principal and alt and have at least one other alternate that should have a customized style (that hasn't debuted yet), but everyone else has the same just like for Aragon.
Tumblr media
Cleves: Everyone (minus SK but I added them to the chart anyway). Cleves is the character that gets the most customization by far, and even when the base style is technically the same all read very different onstage. Even when NCS tries to give the alts a style that looks the same as the principal it ends up looking different.
Tumblr media
Howard: broadway and only because of a technicality. Holli's wig is made to look like curly hair straightened while everyone else is just straight hair. Also I am not counting dye color in here because that is chosen to compliment the base haircolor so it is not an intentional difference. (And zoomed out photos because they all have different lenghts too)
Tumblr media
Parr: All land companies. Parr does have four different base styles: side curly ponytail, side curls, regular ponytail and updo. But within those happens the same that happens with Cleves, even when the base is the same it looks different on everyone. WE has Roxanne in the ponytail, Leah in side curls, Monique in side curly ponytail and everyone else in different updos. UKT has a simmilar mix of side ponytail for Alana, side curls for Natalie and different updos for everyone else. Boleyn tour has two different side ponytails and two different regular ponytails. Aragon tour has Gabi's style and three different ponytails. Broadway has Taylors side swept curls, two very distinct side curly ponytails and one regular ponytail.

Hypothetical Six Alts Cover System
Way back in 2020 I started figuring out some different possibilities for what a cover system with six alts would look like. The idea was pretty unthinkable at the time, but also super exciting! As time has gone on we've seen more situations with more alts where coverage required it due to injuries, universal swings, etc. And now with the new West End announcement including six swalts, it seemed like the perfect time to post an example of what my hypothetical system could look like in action.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Basic overview: - Six alternates with three covers each - Each alternate has a primary cover that they essentially function as the first cover for, in true alternate or standby fashion. - The alternate also has another two covers, which they function as more of an understudy or 2nd cover for. - The alternates receive a principal costume for their primary/alternate cover. They wear an alternate costume for the secondary covers, with one variation that's meant to work for both covers.* They'd have one pair of boots for each costume, and in an ideal world they'd have two wigs/hairpieces with one of them intended for the primary cover and the second being intended as a versatile piece for their other roles. - The inclusion of alternate costumes also means that, in an extreme situation, the alternates could potentially perform emergency covers in a track they don't formally cover. - The collage above shows: Laura Baxter as alternate Aragon and cover Seymour/Parr; Odelia Dizel-Cubuca as alternate Boleyn and cover Cleves/Parr; Meg Dixon-Brasil as alternate Seymour and cover Boleyn/Howard; Honey Joseph as alternate Cleves and cover Aragon/Boleyn (pictured in @lightleckrereins' A/B sixsona design); Leonor Correia as alternate Howard and cover Aragon/Seymour; Shakira Simpson as alternate Parr and cover Cleves/Howard. Other than the alts' confirmed covers, the other assigned covers are just a fun guess at swing priorities and 2nd covers.
Tumblr media
Scheduling and coverage: - This is based on the typical UK schedule: 9 shows a week, with principals doing 8 of them and swalts doing the 9th for each track. In a typical week, my system has the primary alternate do the scheduled show off each week (see Week 1). - This would of course be disrupted in the case of holiday or other conflicts. In my week 2 example, Caitlyn and Honey are off for the week on holiday. Leonor, as alternate Howard, is scheduled for the majority of the Howard shows, but Meg and Shakira each are scheduled for some as well. And since Honey can't perform her usual Cleves alternate show, Odelia would step in instead (Shakira also could, but in this example week with Caitlyn out it makes more sense to have Shakira available for Howard coverage as well as her usual Parr). - The alternates can also function as temporary replacements, if needed, in the case of a longer principal absence. If this were to happen, the other covers for the role would temporarily function in an alternate role for that position. For instance, if Caitlyn was injured, Leonor would become a temporary replacement, and Shakira and Meg would trade off on alternate duties with Shakira doing the 9th show as Howard one week and Meg the next (etc).
Some basic thoughts behind this system: - I was initially thinking through this system at the start of lockdown, and it's evolved since. At that point in Six history, the UK alts were covering all six roles with alternate costumes, the US covers were Bway standbys with 5 covers total and 2 primary via exclusively principal costumes, and the Aus swings each indiscriminately covered all six roles with swing costumes. None of these felt particularly efficient - Broadway alts requiring five principal costumes felt excessive, Aus swings covering six roles equally felt like a gargantuan task, and the UK/Bway systems of 1st covers was more practical but they were often going on for others. I wanted to come up with a system that felt like a fair number of covers for each alternate, one that would provide enough coverage for any given production but that also gave the understudies an amount of work that still felt realistic and fair. I thought my system of three covers with one primary cover per alt was a good balance. - I also wanted a system that was realistic and fair for budget as well as the techies that worked behind the scenes, somewhere between the five(!!) principal costumes of Bway and the single alt costume of the UK/Aus productions. My system required two costumes per person, which was far less expensive for the show and far less work for the costume studio, while still allowing for the principal replica costumes as seen on Broadway and the versatility of alt costumes. - The system would also allow alternates to easily be promoted to a principal role at cast changes, something that I wanted (and still want) Six to continue! - All around, I'm pretty happy with this system. It's not perfect and there could still be coverage issues, but it feels like a good compromise between a few of the different systems Six has had and a manageable level of work for everyone involved with the production. You can imagine my smugness when Six Broadway instituted their three covers system, and when the UK switched over to principal costumes for first covers!!*
----- Credits: All of the art included in the collage is from @lightleckrereins' game. The alternate costume shown on Honey is also her design. *Fun fact: this is a system I started toying with back when UK alternates only had alt costumes and way before the 2021 cast change when they started to get both principal and alternate costumes!! In the midst of all that 2021 alt debut chaos, part of the reason why @lightleckrereins and I were so quick to think that the alternates might have principal for 1st covers and alt costumes for 2nd/3rd covers was precisely because I had been working on a similar system to that within this theoretical cover system.

The show features in Chichester Festival Theatre’s new season
As part of its upcoming 2024 season, Chichester Festival Theatre will present The Other Boleyn Girl, adapted by Mike Poulton from Philippa Gregory’s novel.
Gregory’s novel is set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s court, where Mary Boleyn finds herself entangled in her family’s quest for power as Henry’s mistress, while her uncle schemes to place her on the throne amid Queen Katherine of Aragon’s inability to produce a male heir. However, Henry’s attention shifts to Mary’s sister, Anne.
The cast includes Jacob Ifan as William Carey, Kemi-Bo Jacobs as Queen Katherine, Alex Kingston as Lady Elizabeth, Peter Losasso as Francis Weston, Freya Mavor as Anne Boleyn, Lily Nichol as Jane Parker, Lucy Phelps as Mary Boleyn, and Andrew Woodall as the Duke of Norfolk. Chris Green and Sarah Harrison provide musical accompaniment.
Directed by Lucy Bailey, it runs from 19 April to 11 May at the Festival Theatre. Joanna Parker serves as the designer, with Chris Davey handling lighting design, Orlando Gough composing the music, Beth Duke managing sound design, Dick Straker overseeing video design, and Ayse Tashkiran as movement director. Susanna Peretz takes charge of wigs, hair & make-up, and Ginny Schiller CDG handles casting.

Note
Bucky would probably dress baby Barnes as a hobbit for Halloween or just plain autumn weather. Lottie would love to dress up as a pwetty elf and Henry would be a mini Aragon. đŸ˜đŸ€§
First of all that’s the cutest fucking thing I’ve seen today!! đŸ„șđŸ„ș
Second Lottie would be Galadriel, long flowing blonde hair and everything. (This girl in a wig can you imagine?)
Henry would dress up as Legolas. Clint would even teach him how to use a bow and arrow.
Baby Barnes would be a Hobbit.
Sugar would be Arwen.
Bucky would let his hair grow up and be Aragorn.
They would convince grandpa Eddie to dress up as bilbo.

Opinions on six hairs that prolly no-one cares abt (but I'm posting anyway x)
(This was brought on by me finally snapping after Australia & Ukt revealed the wig styles x)
A: I'm not a fan of the bobo bob.
B: Give Aragon more variants i beg, it seems like they're just using curly bob or curls these days x
C: Give Howard more variants in front shape, pony length & shape etc.
D: Hate the parr pony with a burning passion.
E: Bring back the days where alts could do their own styles for 2nd/3rd covers. I beg.
F: The green bobo highlights should be standardized for long, straight hair
thus ends my rant x

Meg Dixon-Brasil Q&A
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
@/broadwayworks on Instagram, 25 May 2024
Some other questions:
Q: Which role is the hardest for you vocal range wise? A: Great question! I actually have two answers. So, I'm like a mezzo-soprano, ehm, and the alto line in the show is actually really low - I think, anyway. So when I'm on for Cleves, so um, harmony order is Aragon, Howard, Seymour, Boleyn, Parr, Cleves. It changes for every cast, but that's ours. Ehm, so when I'm on for Cleves I find it really hard 'cause it's really low and it's kinda like
too low for me. But, you know, we manage. And then on the other side of that, when I'm on for Aragon, which I'm on for today, it's really high! (laughs) Ehm, and the harmony - top harmony - is the hardest bit about Aragon's track, which is why it scares me. But
practice makes perfect. We're getting better at it. It'll be fine!
Q: What's the shortest amount of time you've ever had between getting told you're performing and going on? A: This is actually a fun story. So, it was actually my Howard debut. I found out that I was going on at the 5 minute call. Ehm, which was obviously really scary, but it actually went really well and it was really fun. But ehm, I was always really scared about Howard because (sigh) that song is 7 minutes long and the words are really hard. Anyone who's played Howard before, you get it. It's not easy. And I remember I had a dress run for Howard and I messed up the words and I got in my head so much and I was like, "I never wanna debut Howard, I don't wanna do it" (laughs) Ehm, and then I had to. I had to get ready - I think I got ready in ten, fifteen minutes. So the show went up maybe like ten minutes late. I found out I was going on at the five minute call, which is ten minutes before the show. So I sprinted into wigs, they were putting my hair up into a ponytail as I was putting makeup on my face. Ehm, I didn't have time to go through anything
so yeah. I went on. With about fifteen minutes to get ready. Ehm, and I did it! And it was actually really fun! And I didn't mess up the words! Don't ask me if I've messed them up since
 'cause that's another story.
Q: What is your fav and least fav queen to play? A: So, great question. This changes quite a lot, which I guess is great because I don't ever have to choose 'cause I get to play them all, and that's why my job is so great. But, ehm, currently my favourites are Boleyn and Parr. And my least favourite's probably Aragon. Just 'cause it's
hard. It's really hard! But it's fun, and I love them all for different reasons.
Q: How many wigs do you have? A: I have four full wigs and one hair piece for Howard, so I guess five. And then I use my own hair for Boleyn.
Q: Did you audition to be a super swing? If not who did you audition for? A: So, ehm, when I originally auditioned, it was for, ehm, the cruise and NCL. And I auditioned for
 Seymour
and Howard, I'm pretty sure. And during that rehearsal process, I was seen for Seymour, Howard, and Boleyn. And I did those three until the finals, and then I got rehearsal swing. And I was a rehearsal swing, ehm, for the Breakaway in August of 2022? I think? And then I came back to London - I auditioned for the tour, and I got quite far for that one with the same three. Ehm, didn't get it. And then I auditioned for the West End. And originally, I was actually only - my first round for the West End I was called in for Howard, and then during my audition, they asked to see Seymour and Bobo as well. Ehm, so then I sang them, and from then on, I was in for those three again, and then at one point - I think it was the one before the final - they also wanted to see Parr. So I ended up doing four. Yeah!
Q: Worst onstage mishap you have done or seen of anyone else? A: Hmm
ehm (giggles) You may have already seen this on TikTok. If you don't follow me on TikTok, my name is just my name. Ehm, one time when I did Howard, I forgot the second verse. That completely left my brain. So, I just, like, didn't sing anything. I didn't sing anything! So it was, 'serious, stern, and slow', and in my brain, I was going 'tall large Henry the Eighth' and that's the third verse, and I was like, 'don't sing it, don't sing it'. But in my brain, it was in my brain. I was like 'don't sing it'. So then I didn't sing that, I just didn't sing anything. And for the life of me, I couldn't figure out which verse I was on. So then I started singing the first verse again. So I sang, ehm, 'broad, dark, sexy Mannox' twice
it was awful. It was actually really bad. (laughs) I was so upset! But I can laugh about it now! But at the time it was ROUGH.

yet another dumb idea
haikyu production of six the musical, except the cast list looks like this
Catherine of Aragon - Hajime Iwaizumi
 Anne Boleyn - Eita Semi
Jane Seymour - YĆ«ji Terushima
Anna of Cleves - YĆ«ki Shibayama
Katherine Howard - Ryƫnosuke Tanaka
Catherine Parr - Hitoka Yachi
can you just imagine the reactions of the teamates. karasuno crying when all you wanna do comes on
Nekoma is laughing their butts off when get down comes on
Johzenji is absolutely frozen most of the show because of A :the jokes are amazing and B: the are crying
Seijoh is just blown away because iwaizumi has an amazing voice and they also look really hot in that costume
Ushijima was the costume designer, understudy, choreographer and director... they have no regrets
yachi was the only person on stage wearing actual pants, semi, terushima and shibayamawore the normal costume, iwaizumi made ushijima change his to have shorts same with Tanaka
They met up with their teams after the show but they were still in costume even the band,so imagine being shiratorizawa , after this emotional rollercoaster of a show instead of going back to the dorms your confronted with semi, who is still in costume and ushijima is A: still wearing a headset and backstage clothes and B: is bouncing up and down with after show excitement
Tanaka wore a wig during the proformance so it took a little bit of time to recognize them
This is the wig âŹ‡ïž

Harriet Caplan-Dean's Hairstyles: UK Tour
Hey y'all! Have had a few asks recently about Harriet Caplan-Dean's different wigs and hairstyles. I realized I never actually made a full post about that, so here it is.
Tumblr media
She only had two wigs: an Aragon bob and a Howard pony. - The Aragon was used for Aragon. - Her own hair was used for Boleyn, Seymour, and Cleves - The Howard pony was used for both Howard and Parr. This was normal for most non-Black UK Parr covers for a while (post about that here).
Her Parr style was changed a few times mid-run:
Tumblr media
Debut and early shows had a bun in the back before going into the Howard pony. By around July 2022 it had switched to a lower ponytail with a poof and single braid on top, using just her hair. From then through the end of the run it stayed mostly the same, although they played around with the exact style of the braid and poof.

Quick broadway cast change costume update
Both @six-costume-refs have been too busy to do a proper breakdown of the broadway costumes. But this is a returning cast so it is mostly updates which means we can keep it short.
In general the broadway costumes are a mix of Aragon tour and new pieces with some being replaced during the tour and some for broadway. There is a solid amount of guessing in here. Some things seem to be new but made from the same patterns as the tour costumes. And some things (sleeves, underlayers) there is no way to be sure whether those are new or old just from photos. Crowns and accesories are likely the same they had on tour as those get very little wear compated to costumes. Also in theory they should all have new boots. In general queens who stay for a second contract get new pairs after about a year so following that pattern the broadway cast should be getting new boots.
Khaila Wilcoxon: Khaila has a new costume. Looks like it was made from a new pattern, top and belt shape are slightly different and skirt is longer. She has either her tour wig restyled or a new wig with the same curl pattern as the old one. Wig is styled with two braids on top pulling the hair back and less volume than her tour style.
Storm Lever: Storm seems to be wearing her old costume. She has a new wig. Straight hair like her tour wig but longer and looks thicker.
Jasmine Forsberg: Jasmine has a new corset, it is shorter on the sides and has a more pronounced point in front, and cups are a slightly different shape. Recent JKNYC dresses have been looser over the hips, Jasmine still has the more fitted style which says its likely her tour dress or a new dress with the old pattern. Her wig could be new or the old restyled. She has a side part, styled bangs and curls like she did on tour. But bangs have less volume and curls are tighter and in smaller clumps.
Olivia Donaldson: Olivia has what looks like a new costume made from the same pattern as the original with minimal alterations and bigger tabs. No clear photos of her pre reveal costume or leotard yet. If it is all new the sleeves might be repurposed from the tour costume. She also got a new wig and hairstyle with cornrows on the sides and curls with red highlights on top. An interesting detail is that she switched from black and silver makeup which US casts did previously to red and silver which was introduced in late 2022.
Didi Romero: Didi has a new skirt and leotard with either her tour top or a new top made from the same pattern. Her ponytail looks new too.
Gabriela Carrillo: Gabi has a new top and either her tour peplum (likely) or a new one made from the same pattern as her tour one. No way to be sure on the pants. She has a new wig with highlights she didn't have before and a variation of the current back ponytail Parr style. She has a french braid in one side and a dutch braid on the other as introduced in the canadian cast, but instead of a high ponytail or loose waves she has a low ponytail mirroring her tour styles.

Dress Up
Series: Red Carpet Diaries (Post Series)
Pairing: Thomas Hunt x F!MC (Brooklyn Moore)
Rating: General
Word Count: 534
Summary: Thomas surprises Brooklyn with their son, Matthew in a Anne Boleyn Costume
A/N: This was inspired by Nicole Louise Lewis's Instagram Story (Current Principal Catherine of Aragon on the UK Tour of SIX) where her daughter dressed up like CoA and I immediately thought of writing this.
It was simply a normal day at the theater. The cast of SIX was doing some quick run throughs of the show with the alternates subbing in for some parts of the roles that they covered to make sure everything was still going well. It was the Sunday before Halloween and Brooklyn had only a couple more hours of rehearsal and the evening show before she was free for the next two days, as they had no shows on Mondays and she took Halloween off to spend time with Thomas, Matthew, and some friends from her hometown.
While Brooklyn was at rehearsal, Thomas was at home with Matthew picking out a costume for him to wear while going trick or treating. This was Matthew’s first trick or treating experience as he was now 2 years old and they figured it was time.
Brooklyn and Matthew had gone out to the costume store a few weeks prior to pick some costumes for Matthew to try on and pick which one he liked best. What Brooklyn didn’t know was that Thomas had actually asked Addison Sinclair to make Matthew a costume similar to Brooklyn’s Boleyn costume for Matthew to wear as a surprise. Addison had dropped it off not long after Brooklyn left for rehearsal and Thomas had gotten Matthew into his costume before going over to the theatre.
By the time Thomas and Matthew had arrived at the theatre, rehearsal was almost over. Once they were signed in and all set, someone from the team brought them back to the left wing of the stage where the alternates were sitting and checking their notes for the queens they play. Megan Shaw, who is the alternate for Boleyn, Seymour, and Howard was the first to notice their arrival and smiled when she saw his costume. Thomas gave her a small smile and made a shushing motion with his mouth and hand, to which Megan nodded and went back to her notes.
When the cast had finished the run through, Thomas and Mathew slowly came out from the wings. Thomas clapped which made Matthew attempt to do as well. The whole cast besides Brooklyn turned to see them and cooed at Matthew’s outfit. Brooklyn then turned her head and let out a little gasp before quickly walking over to the pair and immediately grabbed Matthew from Thomas and started to spin him around, making Matthew giggle
“Where did you get this costume?” Brooklyn asked.
“I asked Addison a couple weeks ago if she could make it for him.”
“It’s so cute!”
Brooklyn started peppering kisses all over Matthew’s face making him giggle. Everyone else smiled and watched the interaction. What Brooklyn also didn’t know was that Thomas had bought tickets for the two of them in the front row. She noticed them during her song and everyone could see she was a lot happier.
After the show, Brooklyn quickly got out of her wig and costume so she could quickly go through stagedoor and go over to Thomas and Matthew. Once she was done, she ran over to the two of them and gave each of them a kiss on the cheek before they walked back home.

misc six observations:
the pantages is the most gorgeous theater i’ve ever been in (not that i’ve been in many but u know)
it’s also along the walk of fame and kirsten chenoweth’s star is right by the door (lena horne's is just across the street)
they didn’t advertise my show as accessible but it was open-captioned and asl-interpreted (but it looks like both things were only viewable to ppl seated on the left side)
an old couple next to me were trying to figure out which “chopin composition” the pre-show music was? (they’re all piano covers of pop songs) v confused
the “queen bios” in the playbill list aragon’s interests as “religion, sewing, dancing, and a bit more religion”, boleyn’s says she’s remembered for “headlessness”. parr’s talks about her friendship w mary and that her mom was LIW to some previous wives, but makes no mention of the fact that aragon was her godmother(/namesake) or that she married seymour’s brother
the minute greensleeves started playing, people started cheering. it was so fun
khaila was born to play aragon that's all im saying. literally nonstop applause until the dluh intro
storm's boleyn tiptoed that line between "idk what's going on" and "smart and cunning" so so well
cleves did the ponytail-pull instead of seymour? idk if this is a recent change but it has Interesting implications characterization-wise lmao also it was just funny because olivia had to significantly reach up to get to courtney's hair
speaking of which, both nat and cmack's new wigs look a lot fancier than their old ones somehow
im pretty sure nmp actually started crying during hos (which, even though i've heard her sing it a million times, was every bit as beautiful as i thought it would be)
hoh live is an Experience in the best way, they just looked like they were having the best time bouncing around the stage
the audience member picked for get down was so good/confident olivia cheered for her the entire time instead of doing the "this is my song" bit after shfghjkl
get down is already such a lively song but olivia's version amps it up even more like i was in stitches during the intro and the entire audience was fired up by the end
the k-howard roast didnt get as many laughs as it should've :// i felt so bad for courtney because she delivered those lines flawlessly
and then loud and immediate applause after aywd??? L audience tbh
(also interesting note – the asl interpreter didn’t sign for applause after the song like she did for all the others)
natalie's "I DIED" was every bit as amazing as all the audios. also she basically chased khaila offstage while saying that line sdkf
i think gabriela is my new favorite parr im so obsessed w her take on idnyl and her acting (even in the background) is impeccable
there were some obvious mic issues – both cmack and storm were a bit quieter than everyone else and khaila was way louder; all three of them left the stage at various points for unknown reasons (but there wasn't a show stop and i dont think most people noticed someone missing)
this cast's chemistry was i n s a n e like the little interactions and they way they reacted to each other plus the harmonies
10/10 no notes
speaking of which. there was a really sweet moment toward the end of idnyl ("why should i tell that story?") where aragon puts her hand on howard's knee comfortingly
standing ovation after six!!! idk if this is a regular occurrence but they bowed an extra time because of all the clapping lol
except then people started leaving, so courtney had to start the megasix early and you could barely hear her over the audience
but it was ok cuz people stayed on their feet throughout the megasix too and again the girls took a really long time leaving the stage after bc the cheers kept getting louder!!!
tldr i had the BEST time and if the tickets weren’t so expensive id go again and again <3
