Thank you Unca Donald. You are our best uncle and parent we ever had! Happy New Year and happy holidays to you and you're welcome! I'm glad you're happy! :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Happy New Year! - Celebrating Panchito Pistoles, Aracuan Bird and The Three Caballeros’ 80th Birthday, Fethry Duck’s 60th Birthday and Donald Duck’s 90th Birthday - Celebrating New Years with Donald Duck, his friends and family - Donald Duck and kids (preetens and teenagers) - Modern Three Caballeros - Quack Pack AU - Duckverse - My Gift for Friends - My Style - Happy New Year, Happy Birthdays and Happy Holidays!
I wish everyone a Happy New Year, a New Year 2025 with lots of wishes and health, and happy holidays!
Happy New 2025!
A similar drawing, but this time with children and teenagers, mostly as I imagine in my Quack Pack version. The previous drawing was mostly of adults so I divided it into two parts. Everyone celebrates those anniversaries and birthdays together.
I apologize for the delay, because I worked on this drawing for two days, considering that I had other things to do, but I certainly did this now. Unfortunately, I was not able to do last year’s celebration of my favorite duck on the occasion of his 90th birthday where he celebrates with his family and friends except for a few drawings, as well as the birthday of Fethry Duck and Panchito Pistoles, so I wanted to bring everything together in my new first New Year’s drawing, as they celebrate an important anniversary, and you can see it on the cake where they write in the form of candles.
9/6/1934 The Classic Short “The Wise Little Hen” was shown and Donald Duck appeared there for the first time. Donald Duck will become one of the main stars of not only Disney, but also cartoon films, comics and video games at all. Certainly there is no need to tell his history. Yes, on December 21, 1944, the movie “The Three Caballeros” aired and Panchito Pistoles and the goofy Aracuan Bird appeared in that movie. And that’s how the Three Caballeros team was born, in my opinion the best Disney trio, after Huey, Dewey and Louie. Fethry first appeared in the comic book “The Health Nut” which was published in 1964, and on August 2, in the comic book Topolino number 453, in the American edition it will come out two years later. That comic was written by Dick Kinney and drawn by Al Hubbard. So I wish all of them a happy birthday and happy anniversary. In addition, I wish Daisy Duck a happy 85th birthday this year.
Otherwise, they celebrate in Brazil at Jose Ze Carioca’s (José Carioca-Zé Carioca), because it’s summer there. Last year I drew a couple of drawings of adults and children celebrating New Year’s Eve in swimsuits and you can see them here: https://ducktoonsfanart.tumblr.com/post/738405983887474688/happy-new-year-celebrating-new-years-in-brazil
Similar to the previous drawing, here I drew it in my own way adding a lot of characters as I usually like and mostly I combined from Quack Pack, The Legend of The Three Caballeros, Donald Duck comics (Italian comics), Ze Carioca comics (Brazilian comics), Darkwing Duck, Ducktales both versions, Double Duck and Duck Avenger (Paperinik) comics. It’s mostly part of that Quack Pack AU of mine. I drew mostly in my own way. And this is also part of my version of Modern Three Caballeros. Just besides Donald, Panchito, Jose Zé Carioca (José Zé Carioca), Aracuan Bird, Fethry Duck, from the adults there are Daisy Duck and Uno Ducklair from the Duck Avenger (Paperinik-PKNA) comics, and the rest are children (preteens and teenagers).
Mostly there are Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck (Donald’s nephews), April, May and June Duck (Daisy’s nieces), Phooey Duck (fourth nephew), Zico and Zeca Carioca (Jose’s nephews), Gosalyn Mallard, Honker Muddlefoot (Darkwing Duck), Webby Vanderquack, Gene the Genie (OG Ducktales), Minima De Spell (Magica’s niece), Sonny Seagull (Garvey Gull), Newton Gearloose (Gyro’s nephew), Dugan Duck (Fethry’s nephew), Shamrock Gander (Gladstone’s nephew), Vanessa (a friend of Donald’s nephews from the Area 15 comics and mostly Dewey’s and Louie’s girlfriend), Susie McGuider (from the Quack Pack “Ducks by Nature”) and Katie Duck (a newspaper carrier and girlfriend of one of Donald’s nephews in the Quack Pack). I only forgot Little Helper, but I’ll get to that another time. Sorry for some of the mistakes I made while coloring, I was in a hurry.
I hope you like this drawing and this idea and feel free to like and reblog this and please don’t copy my versions of these characters and my ideas without mentioning me. Thanks! I wish everyone a happy 60th birthday to Fethry Duck, 80th birthday to Panchito Pistoles and Aracuan Bird, 85th birthday to Daisy Duck and 90th birthday to the best duck who inspired me, Donald Duck! And a happy New Year to everyone!
P.S. By the way, this is a gift for all of you, especially fans of Donald Duck and his comics, video games and cartoons. But I dedicate these drawings in particular as my gift to these people, for @elmer-dat-gander, @isabellanajera, @you-big-palooka, @fantasticenthusiasttale and to everyone else who loves these characters. I hope you like my gifts for this holiday season! Enjoy and Happy New Year 2025!

I just watched Disneys 1955 "blame it on the samba" and when I saw the aracuan and his actions I thought to myself "why doesn't Figment do this?"
Since he can:
Clone (3x in the ride)
Turns a machine into a slot one
Derails the audience into his house
TRANSPORTS HUMAN BEINGS TO HIS REALM! (like ONE)
He turns smells to an animal that is associated with.
Claims to be "A master of illusion!"
CREATED A WORLD OF HIS OWN THAT HE COULD EDIT!!
I mean like, aracuan can change places like a 20th century school projector, WHY DOESN'T FIGMENT DO THAT!! HE IS LITERALLY THE "SPOKESPERSON" OF IMAGINATION AND CREATIVITY!!
thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Character ask: The Three Caballeros (Disney)
Favorite thing about them:
Donald Duck: See here.
José Carioca: How exuberant and fun-loving yet elegant and musical he is.
Panchito: His wild energy and zest for life.
Least favorite thing about them:
Donald Duck: See here.
José Carioca: His occasional violent streak: e.g. the few seconds when he wields an axe over Panchito, or when he puts explosives in Donald's bull costume.
Panchito: He's a little too gun-happy at times and his high-pitched whoops can get annoying.
Three things I have in common with them:
*I'm fun-loving
*I enjoy music and dancing.
*Like Donald, I'm from the USA.
Three things I don't have in common with them:
*Unlike Donald, I can talk clearly.
*Unlike the other two, I'm not from Brazil or Mexico.
*I'm not a bird.
Favorite line: The lyrics to the "Three Caballeros" song.
brOTP: Each other.
OTP: For Donald, Daisy Duck. For the other two, any "Latin babies" (or girls of any other ethnicity) who say "yes" to them.
nOTP: The Aracuan – he's too crazy, and besides, all three seem to be straight (apart from occasionally kissing each other).
Random headcanon: They don't see each other very often, since each lives in his respective home country. But they stay in touch throughout the year and get together on special occasions, particularly at Christmas, when Panchito never fails to bring a piñata.
Unpopular opinion: I don't think I have one.
Song I associate with them: What else?

Calling Alejandro a “wild card” would be an understatement, as he is as wild as they come. With a loud eccentric yell, he’s off doing who knows what who knows where just to try and get a good laugh out of people. He loves to entertain and is somewhat of a class clown, whether it’s cracking jokes or blowing up the Alchemy lab. But good luck catching him, he is incredibly fast and is prone to disappearing before anyone notices.

If he’s asked about his family, he’ll say his Dad is the greatest man in the entire universe! Adopted when he was a small child, Alejandro comes from a happy home with a hardworking father, so Alejandro can be surprisingly reliable if you’re in a pinch.
Trivia
He’s so good at juggling, he can do it upside down or balancing on a giant rubber ball.
He hates peanuts but ate them once on a dare.

Ari the Aracuan Bird Headcanon Page: Go.
[Converged Universes, mostly LotTC and DT17]
→ Ari is rather socially awkward, a result of him living a secluded life since childhood. He is aware of it, but can't help it. He thus prefers not to talk/be sociable/meet new people to prevent people from finding him weird, but he actually feels lonely. Ari's...antics are a combination of him not knowing the social norm, & him wanting to stand out to make some friends.
→ He didn't really have any friends when he was in his native jungle home. Either there were nobody around, or people found him too eccentric. Therefore, Ari treasures his friends a lot.
→ Ari's striped shirt was a gift from his grandfather when he was a chick (not sure why grandfather, just cause). He grew into it. Clinton Coot (as a Junior Woodchucker (?)) helped Ari repair the shirt when they met. This holds a very special meaning for Ari.
→ Clinton Coot stayed behind in the jungle for a few months for his archeological studies. Ari accompanied and helped Clinton during that time, and they formed a very close partnership. Ari viewed Clinton as his (grand)father figure, and more importantly, someone who would accept and accompany him.
→ Ari was sad to see Clinton leave, but Clinton told Ari he could always go to New Quackmore to find him. Ari struggled a lot about whether to follow Clinton, but eventually was too scared to adapt to a new, city life so soon. He promised Clinton he would go see him one day.
[told you everything i touch becomes angst]
→ Ari never saw Clinton again. When Ari decided to go to New Quackmore, Clinton had already passed away from old age, leaving behind his collected relics and the cabana. Although Clinton passed away peacefully, Ari regretted very much for not following Clinton to New Quackmore to accompany him in his final days. Ari thus promised to protect what was left of his friend, and therefore took it upon himself to be the sole caretaker of the cabana.
→ Donald, José and Panchito are Ari's latest friends. Although they quickly accepted Ari for who he was (because they all are weird too in one way or another), Ari still had reservations about meeting new friends. He thus kept mute (at least not talking), until he felt he was comfortable to open his heart to them. (Actually, Ari didn't talk when meeting Clinton at first too. Ari only opened his heart to Clinton when Clinton patched up his striped shirt.)
→ Ari is actually around Donald's age. His species just have high-pitched voices and short physiques.
[Appendix: Caballero Age Headcanon... Donald > (Ari > ) Panchito > José ※ But their ages are not that far apart]
[starting to get a bit crazy]
→ Ari's..."wacky talents" are actually his magical powers (e.g. Stretching, division (?), hammer-space). Similar to how Donald knows "White Magic" (nod to KH), and José knows "Black Magic" (nod to TTC film). (not sure what ability to give panchito sorry)
→ Ari has (gains) his own...Gold Cloth "Armour". The colour scheme is Magenta. The "weapon" is a wand. He mainly plays a healing, support role in contrast to TTC's direct offence. This symbolises Ari's willingness to support his friends from the side.
[Okay back to normal]
→ The first thing Ari (accidentally) said to Donald etc. was a "thank you...", and he immediately covered his beak while the others "gasped!". Ari then started talking to them since then.
→ After the events of LotTC, Ari (and the others) stayed in New Quackmore for about a month (They treat the place as more of a vacation place than a home. They all have their own homes after all). Afterwards, Ari didn't want to go back to his jungle home or stay behind (he would be alone again), but was also afraid to move from a small town (New Quackmore) to a big city (Duckburg). However, through his times with his friends, he had gathered enough courage to try on new things. Therefore, this time, he followed Donald to Duckburg. He got used to Donald's friends and families more quickly too. (This, by leaving New Quackmore and the cabana, also symbolises the acceptance of the Clinton's passing by Ari. He had grieved for his friend for a long time, and it was time for him to move on)
→ Ari doesn't (didn't) have a name. "Aracuan Bird" is his species (which is a rare one). "Ari" was the "nickname" given by Clinton to him, and Ari has adopted this name since then.
→ Ari is extremely home-smart (?), specifically book-smart (in fields of archeology and magic), absolutely NOT street-smart. Ari will either be extremely defensive, or extremely susceptible.
→ (I think) Ari and Fethry will get along very well. Both are considered "weird" (and thus isolated). Both are enthusiastic about the things they are interested in (magic artefacts/marine biology). Both have extremely specific fashion senses (?). (Or, maybe because I like both of them, heh heh)
→ Ari's birthday is 20 June (nod to the release date of "Clown of the Jungle", the second animated appearance of the Aracuan Bird. I chose this one, because otherwise, he would have the same birthday as Panchito)
→ Ari is friendly (although equally shy), but is most comfortable with a small group of "close friends". He can make many friends, but only a few will be considered by him as "close friends" (e.g. Dona-José-Pan).
→ He is also extremely protective of said close friends. While he himself doesn't mind being made fun of (at least he will try to joke back, at most he will just ignore it), making (malicious) "fun" of his besties is another story (e.g. Making fun of Donald's family/irritability/misfortune, José's poverty, Panchito's...name?). Ari will not confront the assailant directly (unless his friends are being literally attacked, though they can usually defend themselves more than enough), but will make them pay sequentially (with "pranks" and such, using his magical abilities).
→ (Due to having no prior exposure to such things) Ari has a fear of post-modern technologies (which are, well, things you see in Duckburg but not (usually) on Earth, in 2021). These include robots, drones, weird weapons/tools (e.g. Shrink ray), teleporters, time machines and basically most of Gyro's inventions...He is fine with..."normal" technologies though, such as cars, elevators, computers, smartphones etc.
[Side note (1): Ari is fine with Boyd, even after knowing he is a robot. (Because Boyd is...pretty much normal and friendly) Ari was skeptical of Lil' Bulb at first, but warmed up to it over time]
[Side note (2): Ari was afraid of Gizmoduck (sorry) at first, because of his hulking size (compared to Ari) and various weird gizmos. However, after knowing it was Fenton inside (Fenton revealed himself to Ari because he had already revealed this secret to enough people anyway he wanted to calm Ari down) and getting to know Fenton too, he got used to Fenton and Gizmoduck]
→ Ari is totally okay with magical/supernatural stuff though. So he has no problem meeting Duckworth or Mitzy.
→ Ari can speak and write (Brazilian) Portuguese and English. His handwriting is quite childlike.
→ Pastimes (other than housework) of Ari include reading, visiting quiet places such as museums and country parks, knitting and doodling. When with friends, he enjoys playing board games, watching tv, or simply being with his friends.
→ In Duckburg (not in New Quackmore because he rarely left the cabana), Ari is always mistaken. Some mistake him as a child. Some mistake him as a woodpecker. Some mistake him as non-sentient. Some even mistake him as non-living (e.g. a doll).
→ Despite being a friend of Donald Duck (and, by extension, the McDuck), Ari is neutral to "enemies" of the McDuck (e.g. Flintheart, Steelbeak, Magica) unless otherwise provoked. (Although the "villains" of the show, in my headcanons, are pretty much benign) (Actually, if he is not causing trouble, Ari is okay with Sheldgoose too)
→ Ludwig Von Drake (if they ever meet) reminds Ari of Clinton Coot, and thus Ari has a fondness towards him.

Legend of the Three Caballeros thoughts:
I finished. Honestly overall, it was fun, but I wanna break it up into pros, cons, and my hopes for improvement next season.
Pros- -They throw in a lot of tidbits about different cultures. True, they end up making them a crazy supernatural version of what everything really is (that’s even cooler though kinda), but I’m surprised they knew about specific kinds of yokai, and what the word “eejit” is. There’s one culture in particular they do overlook, but I’ll get to that.
-Sometimes the humor is actually really smart and funny.
-The fact that they’ve said they’re not birds throws me the frick off?? Like, I guess it’s like how Hello Kitty’s not a “cat”, and actually? In spite of it being a joke, that’s a pretty interesting thing to touch on.
-The idea of the story itself is pretty badass.
-In the end, they do sort out everything I was worried they’d forget about; the story remembers where it went and where it’s going (for the most part).
-I know this counts as more culture, but they did end up getting a Mexican to voice Panchito again, so that’s nice.
-The ending was honestly really satisfying.
-Daisy’s nieces are awesome.
-The score is pretty good too (mostly because hearing all those different renditions of the Caballeros’ theme song was pretty great).
-The designs on everything are pretty good.
-I liked the coloring.
-They remembered some of the Don Rosa lore, and some other stuff from old Disney, and that was a fun throwback.
-They did actually mention “Ari” is an Aracuan bird (at first I thought they went “Eh, kids won’t be able to pronounce that.”).
-Speaking of, props to them for keeping the original scream he makes.
-Honestly Sheldgoose and Feldrake’s fighting with eachother was the one bit of cheesy humor I actually enjoyed. Kinda reminded me of the Disney Afternoon shows involving the Disney Ducks.
-The theme song is pretty dang awesome. It’s just their old theme from the movie revamped for an adventure show, but man do they make it work. Did you know the melody of that song is from an old Mexican movie tune called “Ay, Jalisco no te rajes”?
Cons- -I don’t like what they did with Daisy at all. Disney makes her 1-dimensional and mean a lot of the time, and unfortunately this was one of those times. She was never mad at Donald for the right reasons, and when she finally did have a reason, they didn’t address it properly until the end. April, May, and June were extremely smart and cool for typical “girl” side-characters, why can’t she be?
-Speaking of Donald, the mention of him having an anger problem came out of nowhere (for his circumstances in this show at least). His life was absolutely miserable through no fault of his own, so of course that’s going to make him angry. But everyone kept telling him it was his fault and that’s unfair. Then out of nowhere, he actually is irrationally angry at everything. It could have been written better. They kinda had that out-of-the-blue-problem thing with some other chars too. *AHEMXANDRAAHEM*
-This is my biggest personal nitpick. José is from Brazil, which is a Portuguese-speaking country, meaning it’s not Hispanic. Therefore, his name is not pronounced the way it normally is in Spanish; It’s Zho-zay. This show isn’t the only Disney program to make this mistake though. Ever since he came back in the 90s, his name has been pronounced Ho-say, so I guess people have gotten it into their heads that’s how it is. I wish this weren’t the case though, because I don’t believe that literally no one has mentioned this to any execs. I thought an awesome idea of a show like this one would be the one to break the mold, but I guess not. It mostly bugs me because, as I’ve said before, it means you’re lumping in one Latino culture with another just because Mexico is closer to the US. Brazil is the one LA country that speaks a Latino language besides Spanish, guys! Also, he’s voiced by the White Pantera guy; a Canadian imitating a Mexican. Come on, guys, you can do better than that if you already found a Mexican for Panchito! I always felt that if you don’t wanna pronounce his name properly every time, just call him Joe, like they did in the 40s.
-Speaking of José and Panchito, I personally don’t like entirely where they went with their characters in this version. To be fair, I think they’re sort of mashing up different versions of them from other renditions, like Zé in the Brazilian comics and Joe from the 40s films, and Donald from his shorts and the more harmlessly angry version in the kids’ stuff now, but honestly I think I’d like it if they reversed Joe and Pancho’s personalities; if Joe was more adorably derpy and Pancho was more oblivious and flirtatious. That goes for their voices as well. I prefer the higher voiced Joe and the lower voiced Pancho.
-One other teeny tiny thing about Panchito: I wish that signature grito he has in the show didn’t sound so fake. (“Ya-woooo!” Huh??)
-While I’m at it, I can’t say his original last name was accurate (Pistoles isn’t a real word), I can’t say I like how Disney adopted the long-ass name they gave him in House of Mouse either. Gonzales at least is a pretty boring name. Also House of Mouse is the WEIRDEST PLACE to establish canon from (the song where they made up his name is also a bit culturally inaccurate in the first place)...
-Even though sometimes the humor makes me actually laugh, most of the time, it’s far, far too cheesy and childish for me.
-My overall feeling when I wasn’t enjoying the show was that I was sacrificing quality just to see my favorite trio, and that’s not a happy feeling.
-Their songs (or at least the timing of them) weren’t the best, and they bored me a little.
-The follow-up from the first episode could have been executed better; far less like a “Okay we’re here now, cool? Cool”.
-The animation could be better; It’s a little cheap and puppety (can’t blame them though, there doesn’t seem to be much leeway with the staff budget-wise).
-There are some plot holes here and there. Technical ones.
-Little nitpick, going back to the aracuan: His noises could have been better/funnier, apart from the scream which was perfect.
-I’m reeeeeally really tired of the because-they’re-classic-cartoons-and-not-the-main-characters-they’re-dumb-as-a-post-to-what’s-going-around-them thing. I honestly think it’s far funnier when modern shows break that trope and go “Yeah, what’d you think, they WEREN’T going to notice that giant bear running around the restaurant, or hear what the main is muttering?”.
-When you read the show’s bible, you can kind of see where the flaws in character writing are. They’re trying a bit too hard to fit an age group, and are returning a bit too much to the classic cartoons’ characterization. Those were random shorts, with completely different settings, and some archetypes just can’t be done anymore.
-The show hasn’t even aired yet and Disney’s giving it the short end of the stick. As a Wander Over Yonder fan, I know that pain all too well.
-Overall it could be a better show, and for how awesome the idea is, it’s disappointing that they couldn’t make it just as awesome off-paper.
Hopes for improvement next season- -Represent *AHEM* certain characters a bit better. P-L-E-A-S-E be the first Disney show in decades to pronounce his name right at the very least, PLEASE.
-Treat the characters much much better.
-Make every episode as fun and as fair as the finale.
-Make the humor more universal.
-If the writers write something THEY think is cool! It’s not impossible to write kids’ shows that way. All that humor I actually liked? You could tell those were jokes written for THEM!
-If it’s possible, maybe cut out some of the boy-girl romance that seems to be randomly stuck in. Why did independent Xandra need a hot guy in that one episode? (I also feel like Pancho and Joe don’t need no chick.) Nothing unnecessary! Only fun! >:3c
-More cultural tidbits would be great!
-Disney gives it the space to grow, so it can become the show I never knew I needed; The Three Caballeros in a kickass adventure series with everything inbetween!

Happy New Year! - Celebrating Panchito Pistoles, Aracuan Bird and The Three Caballeros' 80th Birthday, Fethry Duck's 60th Birthday and Donald Duck's 90th Birthday - Celebrating New Years with Donald Duck, his friends and family - Donald’s Family and Friends - Modern Three Caballeros - Quack Pack AU - Duckverse - My Gift for Friends - My Style - Happy New Year, Happy Birthdays and Happy Holidays!
I wish everyone a Happy New Year, a New Year 2025 with lots of wishes and health, and happy holidays!
Happy New 2025!
I apologize for the delay, because I worked on this drawing for two days, considering that I had other things to do, but I certainly did this now. Unfortunately, I was not able to do last year's celebration of my favorite duck on the occasion of his 90th birthday where he celebrates with his family and friends except for a few drawings, as well as the birthday of Fethry Duck and Panchito Pistoles, so I wanted to bring everything together in my new first New Year's drawing, as they celebrate an important anniversary, and you can see it on the cake where they write in the form of candles.
Last year I drew a couple of drawings of adults and children celebrating New Year's Eve in swimsuits and you can see them here: https://ducktoonsfanart.tumblr.com/post/738405983887474688/happy-new-year-celebrating-new-years-in-brazil
I drew it in my own way adding a lot of characters as I usually like and mostly I combined from Quack Pack, The Legend of The Three Caballeros, Donald Duck comics (Italian comics), Ze Carioca comics (Brazilian comics), Darkwing Duck, Ducktales both versions, Double Duck and Duck Avenger (Paperinik) comics. It’s mostly part of that Quack Pack AU of mine. I drew mostly in my own way. And this is also part of my version of Modern Three Caballeros. In addition to Donald Duck, Panchito Pistoles, Aracuan Bird and Fethry Duck, there are also their best friend José Zé Carioca, Rosinha Maria Vaz (José's girlfriend), Nestor, Daisy Duck, Gloria Pascoalina (Fethry's girlfriend), Della Duck, Gyro Gearloose, Dickie Duck, Gus Goose, Gladstone Gander, Abner Whitewater Duck, Uno Ducklair (One-Uno), Drake Mallard, Fenton Crackshell, O. K. Quack (a friendly duck from the universe from the Topolino comics), Queen Reginella, Kildare Coot (Sgrizzo), Moby Duck (Donald's distant older cousin next to Fethry Duck), Gandra Dee, Morgana Macawber, Launchpad McQuack, Lyla Lay and Kay K.
I hope you like this drawing and this idea and feel free to like and reblog this and please don't copy my versions of these characters and my ideas without mentioning me.
But I dedicate these drawings in particular as my gift to these people, for @elmer-dat-gander, @you-big-palooka, @isabellanajera, @fantasticenthusiasttale and to everyone else who loves these characters. I hope you like my gifts for this holiday season! Enjoy and Happy New Year 2025!

WARNING! Three Caballeros Spoilers (And long text) ahead!!!
Legend Of The Three Caballeros is a new Disney Series based off of the film and comics of The Three Caballeros. It is really hard to find anywhere, but I highly recommend you watch it. There are quite a few similarities and differences from the new series and the 1944 movie. I will pinpoint and analyse noteworthy parts I have noticed when comparing the two. First of all, in case you know nothing on the subject, I will give a summary of Disney’s The Three Caballeros.
The Three Caballeros was originally a film to make good will and intentions through the “good neighbor policy”  with South America during  late WWII. The film mixed techniques of live-action and animation.
Yaya was played by the actress Aurora Miranda. It featured the classic voice talents of: Clarence Nash,(Voice actor and impressionist that is known for his duck impression, inspiring Disney to make him Donald Duck’s voice actor) José Oliveira (Voices José Carioca)  Joaquin Garay (Voices Panchito Pistoles)
The synopsis of the film: It is Donald Duck’s birthday. Donald Duck receives a package that contains a film reel. In the reel the narrator talks about  stories of exotic birds and penguins around the world. The film most certainly comes to life. A second box appears, and like Saludos Amigos, ( José’s first appearance where he becomes acquainted with Donald duck,) José’ once again bursts out of the present, merry to see his friend again. José, a song  later takes Donald to Bahia, “land of romance” in a story book, where they pass by Yaya, a sweet-maker. Donald falls in love for the Quindins of Yaya. Later Donald and José pop back to normal size and open more presents. In one, there is Panchito. Panchito takes them and lets Donald discover the traditions and history behind the Mexican flag, Pinata, Navidad, and more. More women and dance scenes later, Donald finds himself in the middle of a huge and happy celebration!
Character explanation, film:
Donald Duck (Love-able and mischievous, Donald Duck’s bad luck and irritability is well known.) He first starred in The Little Wise Hen back on June 9, 1934. Both June 9 and Friday the 13th(on account of his bad luck) are considered his birthday. In the film, it is unclear if this is pre-Daisy Duck dating, but most likely because of Donald’s disposition with the women in the film, and since Daisy duck is not in it. He has an “all american” attitude and can be quite arrogant.
José Carioca: A”Dapper  Brazilian Parrot” who was based off of a parrot Walt Disney saw on his Brazilian trip. He first appeared in Saludos Amigos. He is quite well dressed in a suit and bowtie with a hat and an umbrella to go with it. Many gags are performed with the umbrella, including using it as a flute, cane, or to propel one forward. He is polite and always outdoes Donald. He keeps calm and charms most people.
Panchito Pistoles: Eccentric and lively, Panchito is a Mexican rooster who is fun to be around! He has spare sombreros for his friends, and has quite the voice. In the film he has a red/pink-ish suit and a belt with gun holsters. He is a little trigger-happy. He has spurs on the back of his feet, and likes to show off.
All together, they make the musical trio, The Three Caballeros.
Analysing the Film: All together, they are a gay trio. “Gay mostly as in happy.”
There are many scenes that poke fun at homosexuality however, such as when Donald was trying to kiss one of the girls while blindfolded, but accidently ended up smooching Jose, whom laughed it off and removed the blindfold. Donald tried to get away, but was pulled in by Jose’s umbrella, where Panchito, Jose, and Donald took off. The Three Caballeros also danced together a lot.
They also like to make each other jealous. Being roughly either the “Three gentlemen” or Knights, in many cartoons they make it almost a competition to be overly nice to others. In an episode of Mickey And The Roadster Racers, Panchito is impressed by Donald’s Daisy. He goes to kiss her hand but Jose speeds over to her and does it before he can. They obviously like to make each other jealous when being polite.
Panchito is an overwhelming hugger and handshaker. He can tend to be a little extreme.
Although Donald may be grumpy, he’d do anything to keep his amigos happy.
Legend of the Three Caballeros, Episode 1: Dope-A-Cabana Notes (WOW I GET THE TITLE) Copeacabanaaaaa-um THen ONWARDS!
In the first episode, it is Friday the 13th, Donald’s Birthday. He makes himself breakfast in house house and as usual, it ends up on his face.  Contradictory to Ducktales, Donald works at a barber shop, lives in a normal house, and doesn’t raise his nephews, despite as seen later still to have lived in Duckburg. Donald Duck is later fired, and his house burns down (Due to a left on kettle. He gets mad with the classic red face, streaming kettle noises, and steam out his ear bit) With no place to go, he receives a fortunate later that he has an inheritance to a building in New Quackmore: Where the elite live, where he mistakes his high-strung antagonist of a neighbor, Baron Von Sheldgoose’s house for his house. Donald finally finds the shack, which is rundownto say the least. His “lawyer”? Meets them there. Jose gets there via bus and ( Different from the three caballeros film), they do not know each other. Jose continues to charm the lawyer and makes Donald uncomfortable. THEN PANCHITO ROMERO MIGUEL JUNIPERO FRANCISCO QUINTERO GONZALEZ THE THIRD FALLS OUT OF AN AIRPLANE. SPLAT. He once again uses his impressive name from the family episode of House of Mouse. He shakes Jose’s and Donald’s hands simultaneously and overeccageratedly, the same gag in the original Three Caballeros. In this one, the Aracuan bird, (In the film as a crazy, “Pretty stupid fellow”) In this, he cannot be ever fired in the contract as the cabana’s caretaker. He has the nickname Ari. Still a bit of a kook, but less of an annoyance, for now. He never speaks more than shrieks, destroys everything that he touches, and is horrible at his job. But at least he carries a nice tool belt. All three were entitled to the shack. In the will of Clinton Coot, It states that the shack and its possessions go to Donald Duck, and the rest of the descendents of THE three caballeros. Looking around, they find a slew of valuable ancient artifacts, and decide it shall be sold in a yard sale. (That none of the people around seem interested in) (April, May, and June duck, Daisy’s nieces, are invited to sell stuff by Donald. His bored nieces tell Donald that Daisy still isn’t happy with him for not picking her up) (HIS HOUSE WAS BURNT DOWN GIVE EM A BREAK) (Another difference, April, May, June, and Daisy are in this Three Caballeros. THAT will be certainly different. When trying to shuffle his nieces of to work, he confuses their names.) The yard sale is a bust. Once Baron Von Sheldgoose discovers this, he is outraged and tries to shut the operation down, until he stumbles upon a seemingly important and probably magical ring the matches his accessory. He is instantly coy and secretly tries to (trick) buy the whole yard of stuff, most likely including the cabana for 1 MILLION DOLLARS, which instantly sends The three searching for a golden jewel encrusted book that Sheldgoose requires for the transaction. (Another trick for power) Panchito finds it inside when the three eagerly were searching. After the assistance of Ari, The lock is popped open and the book sparks, floats, and glows. The Three Caballeros cower behind a table as an intimidating women(Azula?) wearing the clothes that represent a warrior pops out of the book. She wields a golden bow and arrow, aimed at them; saying “Say your prayers, mortals. “ and leaving us all with a cliffhanger. (GULP)
MAJOR DIFFERENCES FROM THE FILM AND THE SERIES are:
The Three Caballeros don’t know each other!? So now there is an alternate story to how they met/know each other!
They live together?! Won’t they all miss home? Awww.
Where does Ari stay? Probably with them lol. He MIGHT BE THEIR  ACTUAL FRIEND??? Okay, that’s crazy.
So:
Film: Musical-Comedy with live action and animation. A lighthearted and educational trip in South America.
Series: AN ACTION PACKED MYSTERY AND ADVENTURE AROUND THE WORLD!!!!! WOO!!!
Personally, I love both equally. And each holds a special place in my heart.
Thank you and sorry for reading all of this, and if you want me to write and analyse more, Please like, reblog, and or comment so I know!

Have u got any three gay caballero headcanons?
(Oh wow why are you asking me this 0o0) well yeah, it’s a bit sad and I don’t know if this has sense. Panchito and Jose would be in wasteland. After years of trying to get the attention of Donald back, the company never let him look back so they ended in wasteland. There they meet “miguelito” who never could meet in Donald (because of the WW 2) , but they were there to help and telk him stories about them, who they meet and the adventures they get. -Oswald was the first to on they meet, with Ortensia by his side-they didn’t understand at first, but they saluted very polite (specialty to Ortensia) -“oh look another bird toon, is he with you guys ” “ uh… yes” “ but he’s a crazy fella” -(if you didn’t understand, yeah the aracuan is here too) - “ so for what I understand, you were friends of Donald ” “ yes” “ we still are, but… ” “ it’s OK I understand, but you don’t have to worry we have a Donald here! ” “¿¡ Que?!”- they get along with that Donald very well - they star to make fiestas and dance with some señoritas to put some ambient- Oswald is a bit jealous when they grab ortensia, but then they grab him too and he ends dancing with ortensia -also the aracuan… He. Just. Don’t. Stop. Moving. -the little bunny’s like to play with them, specialty with the aracuan -“oswlad junior #56 why are you talking in Spanish? ”
OK I don’t if this have sense but ,when the others creators remember them and try to draw them they get out of wasteland (?) And probably can see Donald again So yeah, it’s all I can think now, I hope you like them (even if it don’t have sense)

Various 1930s/1940s Disney model sheets: birds, cats, dogs, seals, kangaroos, and a mouse.
I suppose the Aracuan Bird was Disney’s answer to crazy characters like Daffy Duck and Woody Woodpecker–but Disney could never really convincingly do crazy.
